My partner and I feel very grateful to have met and worked with Dave Boynton for our third boat purchase. Dave/Boynton Yachts was brokering the make and model boat we had been looking for for sometime so we may have been an easy sale; but, at no time did we every feel like we were being sold. After meeting and chatting extensively, we felt comfortable working directly with Dave even though we could have brought our own representation with whom weve had prior business. This also happened to be in late July when its nearly impossible to get a survey, mechanical and haul out within a couple of days; Dave got it done, likely due to his 30+ years experience and number of strings to pull. Dave went-to-bat for us, made a skillful deal and even followed up throughout the ensuing year on multiple occasions. Needless to say were very happy with our experience, our new boat and following friendship. Would highly recommend Dave/Boynton Yachts.
Dave was timely, courteous and knowledgeable. His goal is to match boats to boaters, and he does this very well. He has great experience in selling boats in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and price points. He went out of his way to make us comfortable with the boat and the buying process, he ensured that some boat issues identified during the survey and the sea trial were taken care of in a timely fashion, and we worked together to close the deal before Father’s Day weekend. He is continuing to talk with us and ensure we can handle this boat successfully after the sale is done. He cares about making good deals for everyone and getting people and families out to enjoy boating! You will be happy you decided to work with Dave.
Dave is a true professional and rises significantly above the level of other brokers. Our boat was older and would not fetch a sizable commission for the selling broker. As such, we were not much of a priority with other brokerages. This was NOT our experience with Boynton Yacht Sales.Dave was great with all aspects of the sale. His knowledge of boats and ability to answer questions were very helpful, as he showed the boat to many inexperienced customers.When our survey came back, there were a couple of items that needed to be addressed before the sale. Dave showed great initiative in getting technicians lined up. He worked some scheduling magic that I could have never accomplished as a regular customer.He was great with the buyer, offering to help him on a number of levels, even after the sale. Most brokers would be onto the next sale, but Dave is all about service, and it shows!
