It was such a nice pleasure to stop by and for a while met Cameron someone who had a really commitment to the costumer at West elm. He was courteous and making me feel welcome. My baby daughter and myself left very pleasant with his customer service skill. You guys should keep him! π the 4 starts is just the company no the person. He deserves 10 stars ( by the way he is not a relative )
While I love browsing online, seeing it in person (especially furniture) is quite helpful. This showroom has a nice mix between bedroom, living, and dining furniture with an abundance of decor and accessories. Its spacious and well laid out. Ive noticed they mainly carry some of the best selling furniture (which makes sense) and then tend to have a lot more accessories. Id like to see more furniture, but considering this store is located in the heart of downtown Amazon land, I would say theyve done a really good job curating what they have. The sales staff is attentive and the store while active, never feels crowded. Its a nice experience overall, Id recommend visiting before ordering online.
I ordered a rocking chair right when pandemic started, thinking it would take ages to arrive at the store for pick up. This was ideal since I didnt have a place to put the chair yet with a house under construction. The chair came very quickly, however, putting me in a bind. The amazing staff at the Westlake store worked with me to schedule a later pick up even though the policy for pick up is limited. As our house renovation delayed the folks at West Elm periodically and politely checked in but never made me feel bad about the chair being in their way. They kept track and when I was finally able to pick up the chair, ensured Id be able to get it in my car safely. Overall my experience was so above and beyond what I expected. I would 100% recommend this particular location for the friendly and incredible staff. Thank you!!
Id like to share the experience I had with West Elm so other people could have full knowledge of how this company operates and stay away from them as Im sure I will.My husband and I purchased a sleeper sofa in September 2018. It had to be made to order so we waited for it for 2 full months. I wont even begin to describe that stage of dealing with West Elm, let me just tell you that it was equally frustrating. However we were happy the couch finally made it to us.Upon delivery, the delivery team didnt pull it out and when I did it later myself I realized that the couch looked misaligned inside. The metal rod that was attached to it fell out and I wasnt able to figure out how to place it back. The whole thing just looks crooked when you take the cushions out! And thats all after waiting for 2 months and paying a lot of money for it!I first contacted the Customer Support team on November 14. They got back to me asking for pictures and promising a response within 2-3 business days. After a week of silence I contacted them again (Nov 21) - this time I got a response saying that the Delivery Quality team still hasnt been sent out to investigate and asking me to wait another week. After 2 more weeks of total silence, I sent them another message (Dec 3) and the response was that they sent out an immediate request to the Delivery Quality team and I would definitely hear back in 24 hours. That day I did receive an email from a different email address requesting to see the pictures. Wanna guess what happened after I responded with another round of pictures? Thats right! Absolutely nothing! No follow up, no response, nothing! After yet another message to the Customer Team on Dec 19 with sincere holiday wishes, I got yet another promise to follow up. This time the person who desperatly needed to see the pictures of my couch was named Rebecca! And she vanished just as fast as she saw them.Well, after all that I figured I should just leave the pictures here for the whole of West Elm to be able to refer to should yet another person need to look at them.Farewell West Elm, I will be looking forward to never having to send you another photo again!
The worst experience ever. The delivery is late and no one has been able to give an update about the order. When I call the store they tell me to call customer service and the customer service has told me to check with the store. The one item I received was defected. That delivery was also not complete. I was supposed to receive four boxes but got only 3. They charge for the delivery but do not give a refund for defective delivery and I have to go return it myself even if the item defective.Never ordering from west elm again.
Ordered 5 pieces of furniture on 1/12 to be delivered to my home. The ETAs given ranged from 2-3 weeks for most of the items to 5 weeks for one item that was backordered. Two months later, nothing has been delivered. All of the items except one have been sitting in a warehouse in Puyallup in Ready to delivery since early February, but West Elm wont deliver them until the last item is in. I inquired in early February about delivering these items now and then the last item once it comes in (split delivery), and they said of course, we will do a split delivery. A week later, I called in again and was told corporate denied my request for a split delivery. Meanwhile, the one backordered item gets delayed another couple of weeks over and over and now shows an ETA of May 15th as of the latest update on 3/11. I called customer service and West Elm still refused to deliver the items that were ready to go, so I requested to cancel the one item that was backordered so the other items could be delivered. I was told only the entire order could be canceled and then I would have to reorder the items that have been ready for delivery for 5 weeks already, but that would push out delivery another month plus because Id go to the back of the queue again. I canceled my order instead of waiting in limbo with no ETA on when my furniture, thats ready for delivery, would ever be delivered. There were so many points where West Elm could have handled this better, but instead they turned me into someone who will forever tell friends and family to shop elsewhere so they dont go months thinking their furniture is about to be delivered when it wont be....over and over.
Staff only picks certain types of people to help. Interesting that corporate supports Black businesses with a 15% pledge but the second an actual black person walks into your store, not one person helps them or even acknowledges their existence for over 30 minutes. Every other person was greeted and given the utmost attention. This could possibly be typical Seattle elitist snobbery or perhaps it was both.
I ordered a set of nice place settingsβplates, bowls, cups, and silverware. The experience while shopping and ordering at the store was fine. However, when you want to return, the experience is completely different. Part of my order was not in stock locally and needed to be shipped to my home. When the plates arrived, half of the plates did not match the others or the rest of the matching items that I ordered. I tried THREE times to have replacement plates shipped, but they kept sending the same defective plates again and again. The staff and manager were rude and condescending, like their incompetence was somehow my fault.
I received exceptional customer service at West Elm Seattle. I placed an order online for curbside pickup and made a special trip to Seattle to retrieve it (I live two hours away). I ordered 2 (rather expensive) mirrors for my bathroom vanity. I loaded the boxes into my car, didnβt check them, and when I got home one of the mirrors was completely shattered. I called the store immediately to tell them about the broken mirror. I was afraid theyβd accuse me of breaking it on my drive home and deny a replacement, but they didnβt. I spoke with Cameron, who ordered me a new mirror without question and even shipped it to me for free. The mirror arrived today in perfect condition. Thanks!
Jym was unbelievably helpful and patient. It really felt like he cared about out final furniture choices. Made a huge difference having such a knowledgeable person helping out. As far as the merchandise goes, the only problem is having too much choice! Some really stunning collections.
Good store with plenty and variety of displays to see and physically try on. Friendly and helpful service.
I was a little disappointed to find out that West Elm doesnt price match when an item you purchase goes on sale. I purchased two carbon framed chairs. They had been on sale a week prior but I missed the sale so I purchased them at full price. Two days after I purchased them, they went on sale again for $150 less than the price I paid. The chairs are not expected to be delivered for 2 1/2 months but they would not provide me with a credit for the sale price. Im still excited about the chairs but I was disappointed they wouldnt provide a credit. I am purchasing furniture from Dania and they provide credits if an item goes on sale prior to it being delivered.
Beautiful well, laid out, tons of light, really amazing staff.
I love West Elm because everything they offer suits my personal decorating style, but if you visit this location, be sure to ask for Nicole. I was so impressed with her customer service and her ability to intuitively anticipate my tastes. There were maybe three men or so also working at the store during her shift, and none of them would even look me in the eye; they made me feel like I wasnt good enough to shop there. But Nicole jumped right in and helped me find everything I needed. I will be coming back to design and purchase my couch as I redecorate my living room. Thank you, Nicole!
BUYER BEWARE! Ordered furniture that was in December that was in stock. Paid West Elms hefty price and delivery fees. Its now mid February. The furniture never arrived. No one contacted me to follow up. No idea when or if Ill get it. Calls to customer service have been useless since they had no ability to provide useful information and havent followed up as they said they would. Might need to contact my credit card company to file a claim to recover the money.
Please be aware that if you purchase something that requires in home delivery, you wonβt be able to refund shipment cost right after you place the order.I also had a bad delivery experience where I can only choose deliver date not time. After you choose a date they just assign a time window which you cannot change. You could only reschedule if it doesnβt work. The designer in store are friendly and helpful though.
My wife loves her new chair! Travis and James made our cross-border purchase a breeze. They were so kind, patient and accommodating. Fantastic customer service. Highly recommended!
I was never approached, doors were locked and no one said anything as I walked around this went on for 10β15 minutes before closing. It was very obvious they did not want me there, no contact at all. I will never shop or spend money at a place that makes you feel unwelcomed. Poor customer service .
I read other reviews where their furniture arrived damaged and the customer service was nonexistent when they tried to get it replaced. I thought these people must have been overreacting and didnt pay attention. Well......my furniture arrived damaged and Ive been trying to get this worked out for over a week and their customer service is as it turns out IS nonexistent. I will never buy furniture from this company again. If I cant carry it out of the store in person its not worth the risk.
Nice selection of towels.
I was excited about buying a new dining room set for our new home. I found a perfect set of chairs and a beautiful round dining room table. I placed my order online earlier this month and I received all my chairs promptly. I have been waiting for my table for 3 weeks now and every time I call customer service I am told a different answer. I called again today and I was told I would have to wait another week!!!! I will give them another week because I really want this table but if I still dont hear anything I will be requesting a refund! I wish I had read reviews on Google before buying. If you are thinking about ordering furniture from West Elm dont waste your time.
Went into Seattle store and found a cute coffee table. They were very busy and the clerk suggested we order it online. Got home and decided to order through the store instead, so we called them and the guy who answered was quite surly and said, were really busy, so you should just order it online. It would get shipped to you from the same place regardless as we dont keep furniture in stock and we dont sell floor items. This should have been my first and final clue not to purchase, but I went ahead and ordered it online. It arrived as promised but took WAY too long to assemble (also a surprise (home assembly) to us!) because the metal holes werent punched thoroughly and/or didnt align and we had to use a metal drill prior to screwing in bolts. Then the glass table top was scuffed and scratched.Since this was a $400 table, Ive called customer service and requested a new piece of glass, spoken to 4 different reps and 6 weeks later, still no glass top and no estimate of when, or even if, it will be sent.Bottom line, if you cant walk out the door with it, dont buy it at West Elm. Better yet, maybe dont even walk in the door...
Online return process is horrific. Nobody seemed interested in helping me resolve my return.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff!
Seattles West Elm is a prime location to find a wonderful selection of home furnishings, small and large. The friendly staff are eager to assist guests whether looking for one or two items or designing a whole space. Quality products, quality service, and quality people.
Good for accessories and some textiles. Nice modern looks. Adequate furniture showroom. Disappointed in sheet selection. Paying for parking for one store (validation covers part of cost) when they dont have what you want is not ideal. Parking garage is located in the back alleyway.
NEVER SHOPPING with West Elm ever again. Id rather cut off my left foot than step into another store.West elm is a tempting alternative for purchasing furniture; however, if anything is wrong with your purchase they hang you out to dry on the customer service front. Just google West Elm Customer service. This review isnt an anomaly. We ordered a table and bench that took a month to delivery + paid a hefty delivery and laughable white glove service fee. The product delivered did not match the color that was on the website so we requested a return/refund. Weve followed up for a month and they still havent arranged for a pick up. In fact, I recorded the phone calls and its truly horrendous how nobody there takes accountability for honoring their service agreement they post on their website. I have recorded 4 phone calls that (took 30 minute waits minimum) and tracked 3 emails where I didnt get a response for the logistic team. On one of the recordings Cody (customer rep) goes, oh, it looks like I fielded your call 3 weeks ago, and nothing has happened yet? Incompetent.Theyll give you the run around and Im going to file a complaint with the attorney general, CPA, and BBB.
I had a terrible experience with returning sheets to West Elm. It was the worst customer service of my life. I live in Alaska, and we dont have a local store, so I ordered some bed sheets online. They cost upwards of $300, but I was in the mood to splurge and they looked amazing in the pictures. I got them, and they were much less than amazing, more like a terrible 80s reject. So I returned them using UPS and their online return process. Then I waited for my refund, and I waited, and waited, and finally a month later I called and asked where my $360 was. The lady I spoke to on the phone said that the package was on the dock, whatever that meant, but that she could process the refund through. I said, great, thanks, and then she told me that my refund would include the cost of the sheets, but not the shipping. I said ok, but that was a bummer since we didnt have a store up here, and so I said I was unlikely to shop there again since I would always have to pay for shipping, even if I didnt like what I got. She was really apologetic and said that she would refund the shipping for me as well, and I thought, cool! Well, two weeks later and I checked my credit card, and I had a refund of $16, but not $360. She had only refunded me for shipping, not the sheets. So I called again, and tried to explain the situation, and the lady this time said I needed the UPS receipt with the tracking number because they had no record of my return! I panicked, but luckily I had kept it, so I called back and gave it to them, and they still told me that the couldnt find my return. I insisted that the first lady told me it was on the dock but no one would believe me. I literally called six times, SIX TIMES! The agents kept telling me that they were going to email so and so and take care of it. And I asked to speak to a manager repeatedly, and was told someone would call me back, and guess what, that NEVER happened. This was over the span of a few months. I really thought I was going to lose $360 for nothing. I called for the seventh time, and I lucked out and got some guy who was willing to process the refund, but NOT for the actual amount I paid for the sheets! In the whole time this was happening, they went on sale, and he would only refund me the sale price. I argued with him and he basically said youre lucky to even get this. I couldnt believe it--this company is owned by Williams and Sonoma, which I thought was a high-end classy store--but I have never, ever, ever been treated in such a way. I even had the UPS tracking number! And they acted like I stole the sheets or something. I ended up losing $30 and a whole lot of patience for my trouble. I am still shocked by the way they treated me. NEVER SHOP HERE!!!!
The rudest cashiers. Worst customer service. Travis the manager seemed nice but I had to ask for a manager to come help after returning to the store twice and calling three times due to mistakes they make in giving me the wrong merchandise and price!! So so so so rude. Just purchase things online .
Went in the with my son to look and we found 2 things for his new apt and best of all on sale.
You will get exceptional customer service here, the staff are always helpful and make you feel as if your visit is appeciated. The reason for my 3 stars is the prices. The majority of furniture items are more expensive than the should be. A mini fridge for over 1K just because its 1950s stylish? Only at West Elm!
A βMuseum of Broken Dreams.βThe store is fairly useless. It has some cool looking things in it, but it is a remarkably painful experience to try to buy any of them, and you canβt expect the things you order will show up at your house. One word to describe staff is βdisinterestedβ.As a corporation overall, tremendous operational issues. Despite having nicely designed pieces, there really isnβt anything else going on for West Elm as a company.
Furniture is awesome. Sometimes I just loved going to get ideas.
A review specifically aimed at West Elm as a company, not necessarily this specific location (I apologize to the Seattle location who Im sure are just doing their best in these trying times). West Elm exists by selling a specific lifestyle to people who are searching for an identity in objects such as linen bedding and distressed arabesque wool rugs. I made a purchase on Sunday evening, 11/25, and was told it wouldnt even be shipped until 12/26. When I attempted to cancel my order on Tuesday, 11/27, I was told that this was impossible due to the order already being sent to the distribution center and it being out of West Elms hands. I was then told by one of West Elms pristine customer service agents who are definitely being paid a living wage that, when my package arrives, I should tell the delivery driver that this order should have been cancelled and to just take the package back. Apparently this is the most efficient way to cancel an order that is a month out from being shipped. This is a really fascinating business model that West Elm has created and I really hope that I encounter more of this in the dystopian consumerist wasteland that were all living in. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Ordered a couch from West Elm. If you can wait 2+ months for furniture then go for it. First they estimated August 29th (see pic) which was βfineβ but we were relying on that timeline to open our Airbnb. Now we are looking at mid-September. So we will have paid for this furniture for 2+ months without it being in our house. Now we have to cancel guests because we donβt have furniture and West Elm holds you hostage once you order and doesnβt let you cancel. The store manager Jason could careless and offered no solutions when I called. Corporate customer service offered no solutions. West Elm offers 0 customer service, so unless you really canβt find what you want in your home somewhere else donβt bother.
Terrible experience. Reading other reviews of this company, I strongly believe that there is a pattern of negligence, incompetence and disinterest. This company is garbage with tremendous operational issues, dysfunctional systems and horrendous delays in production.I ordered a couch at this location to be delivered within 2 to 4 weeks. Almost 6 weeks later with absolutely no updates, I decided to call the store only to learn that my order did not even make it to production and there is absolutely no way to fasttrack. If you are excited about a project or moved to a new place and looking for furniture; stay away from this store, they will just kill your excitement!I canceled all my pending orders and wont be buying anything else from west elm in the future.
Nice things but overpriced. Wait for a sale as they happened alot. They also validate parking.
Amazing collection and staff I had no clue on how to get the items that i require Caitlin helped me so much she walked me through the collection created different options for me and was very cooperative and helpful. Will always go here for any future shopping
This is a strange review. The store here is decent, with a good selection and friendly staff. The weird thing is that they seem to be separate from the web side of things. They rarely have items in-store that are featured on the website and cant order them for (they just send you to a kiosk to order (very helpfully, mind you)). You cant ship to their store either.Weve bought things and thought they were great. But 3 out of 4 times we havent been able to buy the thing we wanted from the store.
Terrible service.Ordered a marble side table with brass legs to match other furniture. When it eventually was delivered the legs were black and not the brass. West elm sent a replacement, and when it eventually showed up it was again the version with black legs and not what we had ordered. At this point we have the option taking it to UPS to send it back but will not see our money again as West elm only gives store credit despite never having delivered what we ordered. Their customer service does not respond to emails asking them to instead refund to credit card.I had also ordered a lot of other furniture which was delivered as expected, except the delivery truck damaged the neighbors wall and their delivery company isnt responding to questions about how to handle that.So while the furniture is generally nice, the poor customer service is a deal breaker. And from reviews its clearly a pattern vs just had luck.
Me and my husband came to purchase sofa, arm chairs and a coffee table. Brian O. was helping us. He showed us many options and took time with describing pros and cons in them. It took me a while to pick a fabric for the couch and he was very helpful and never made us feel rushed. The chairs arrived fast since it wasnβt a custom order, the coffee table was at the store and we took it with us that day. The couch took a while but was worth the wait. I love the fabric I picked and now am grateful for his help and patience. Later on we had problems with the coffee table and when I called in Caitlyn & Sam were very helpful and resolved it for me. Great experience returning it at the Bellevue location with Dodi too.
Terrible customer service. Ordered a bed in Sept. 2 of 3 pieces arrived in Oct. Called CS and they couldnt tell us ETA for 3rd piece. Went to Seattle store and their rep said they couldnt help with an online order. We left a note with the supervisor and never got a call back. We finally processed a return/refund and returned the 2 pieces ourselves to the Seattle store. Fast forward to November, the 3rd piece arrived at our door. We called West Elm CS to have them pick this piece up as weve already processed the refund. UPS came and left a label since they didnt tell us when they were coming and we were at work. We put the label on and have left the box out on our front porch. Called CS to have them request UPS to come pick it up again. Its been 7 days and still nothing. CS keeps telling us theyve sent a request to UPS. Last night, our camera caught a burglar approaching the box to check it out. So now we have security concerns all because West Elm CS cant figure out how to complete a return.
In downtown Seattle. Staff is pleasant and helpful. They have a wide selection of decor
Love west elm as a company but this store has horrible customer service. Placed an order for pick up- it was scratched up with packaging damaged. It was a gift- no wrapping paper or boxes, nothing to make it presentable.... except a plastic bag. Staff seemed apathetic and were not very nice. If your going to charge Nordstrom prices you need to have Nordstrom customer service.
Bought the Eddy sectional sofa on West Elm. Is contains flame retardants that are known to cause cancer. Nothing on their website of course. And when I asked online you answered that it doesnβt contain flame retardants or is not treated with stain repellent. now my one year old has been playing on the couch. Why are you allowed to sell stuff like this? #dontselluscanver #westelm
This review is for the delivery experience and associated customer service, and not the products. I ordered a duvet cover and sheet set and the delivery time is ridiculously long for in-stock items - as in 8 business days (hopefully - that is the current ETA). Since the time of my order, the items went on sale, so I called customer service to see if I could get a price adjustment (especially since I havent even received my items yet) and West Elm does not do price adjustments like other retailers do. Because the delivery is so delayed, I asked if they could refund me the shipping and processing fees, and they wouldnt do that either. Very unhappy with customer service policies and will not order from West Elm again.
Not impressed with West Elm at all. The service has been terrible. Ive been waiting for 2 1/2 months for a pillow, Ive had issues with a chair Ive purchased and theyve been horrible to deal with re fixing this issue. I purchased something recently from Room & Board & Crate & Barrel and both have offered such better service than West Elm. I like the West Elm style but Im not going to buy from them again due to these issues.
Nice selection of good quality items. Wretchedly awful delivery service. They use a separate vendor for larger item delivery, and the scheduling and communication is terrible beyond belief. Wont be shopping here again even though I like their products. However I want to counter some of the prior reviews regarding customer service. The in-store sales staff were attentive and helpful, and the person who helped with the delivery issue did everything she could to try to make things right for me. She has no power over the corporate decision to use the crappy delivery vendor.
If you want poor service and delayed delivery dates look no further than Seattles West Elm!Purchased a sideboard in early August with an anticipated delivery date of September 2017. When I asked if I should purchase online or through the store, they said purchase through our store as it helps our store and you can have a live person to help answer any questions you have on the status of things. Well, delivery date got pushed out to late September, then October, then November, then late December 2017. When I called the store for help, they simply referred me to customer service over the phone. With busy wait times, I cant tell you how many hours Ive spent checking in on the price of an expensive piece of furniture. Under delivering on service and support, weve canceled our order and wont be buying anything else from West Elm in the future.
Nobody paid us a lick of attention. Nothing in the store was worth much of ours. When we finally asked a question the clerk did not even look up to respond. I would suggest that you never bother to enter these doors.
Most absurd shipping price policy I have ever heard of. Based 100% on item cost regardless of size or weight. Oh, and you want in-store pickup instead? NOPE NOT AN OPTION.This means that you could buy an item the side of a paperclip but if it is over $1000 you will pay another $250 for shipping. Completely illogical and a slap in the face to their customers. This is not a customer friendly company.
I love West Elm but only sometimes purchase there ($). Great designs and cute trendy items (plates with hipster rabbits on them, etc.)
So, I made a husband mistake. We got our brand new duvet cover we loved. Within a week, our dog peed on it. I quickly rushed to the duvets rescue by spraying the pee mark with our dog pee cleaner. Only, it wasnt the cleaner, it was bleach. To my defense, the bottles look the same (unless you took the time to read the lable). Needless to say, our new duvet now had a bleached white pee stain.I called West Elm and spoke to a very helpful representative who heard my story, took pity on me, and sent us a brand new duvet for only the cost of shipping. I got husband points for getting us a new duvet, that gentleman gets service points for saving my butt. THANK YOU WEST ELM!
I loved everything! Went in to try out the Casper mattress and wanted to buy everything from this store. Several styles to choose from
Store is cute but went online to find items not in stock and promised free shipping with a promo code and still got charged shipping. Disappointing service.
West Elm is so tempting because the design is decent and its better quality than say, Ikea. But, after several AWFUL experiences here, I can no longer shop here. If you have any furniture items that require any attention at all, need to cancel and item, or have basic customer service needs, you will not find a company thats more frustrating. This has been true across the board for the whole suite of companies under this umbrella. Pottery Barn, William Sonoma, West Elm, etc. ALL are awful to deal with.
Great, modern home goods. I bit pricy, but considering the location it makes sense.
One of the only home stores in the city... not my favorite but I love the variety!
Quality is rapidly going downhill. Unreliable, cheaply made. Yet still priced like it will be functional.
When I spend close to $200 on a gift at West Elm, I expect better gift wrapping than covering the item in tissue paper and sticking it in a normal shopping bag... the online gift wrapping is still a bit blah, but at least it was better thought out....
Interesting store - surprised to find nicely designed, well built pieces for a very reasonable price.
This store is just the worst! God help you if you order furniture from West Elm. I ordered a table a couple months ago and had a horrible experience with terrible and rude costumer service. The table was never delivered and after spending hours on the phone to get a refund for the furniture I never received, I got nowhere. I finally contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge and get my money back. In hindsight, I began reading reviews about the company and it seems that I am not alone. I recommend avoiding this company at all costs.
Great furniture and accessories..but super expensive. The customer service is a hot mess, consistently. I recd a long awaited bed without the right parts after paying for concierge service...long delays in return communication and rescheduled appts, inc a no-show. The in-store reps are harried and understaffed. One told me that 80% of the orders have a problem and she was so tired of it that she was quitting the next week!I use the Seattle store location. Be warned that the orders placed at the store locations are not accessible by the online ordering reps.Get it together West Elm!
Dont bother ordering furniture from them. We ordered a headboard 3 weeks ago that was supposed to be delivered last week and no one in the company knows where it is. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with customer service representatives today and get a different answer everytime.
Bad services. Commented on me in front of me, I can hear you! Dont reply email and phone calls. Cannot keep their own promises. Do NOT help you even when you are in the store (go there because they dont reply email) since they are busy. Products are overpriced.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!! They are poorly trained and will tell you anything to make a sale. They told us a couch would arrive in 2-4 weeks if we picked from two types of material. It has now been 2.5 months and we are still waiting on the couch in a material I didnt LOVE! The customer service tells me a different answer every time I call and a different date! However they had no problem charging me for it a month before delivery. DONT BUY FROM THEM! Save yourself the money, and stress and go with a different store. I will NEVER order from them again!!!!
Really beautiful things in here. I feel that price to quality ratio is high, but if you get their emails about sales, you can score some pretty good deals.
I was very happy with meeting Leah Baker and the help I received while there...
Trendy furniture and great decorating ideas. Some of the furniture quality is better than others.
Solid showroom. Very friendly staff helped us pick a wonderful coffee table out and even helped us apply so extra discounts. Garage below.
Every time I visit this location, I feel like Im being ignored by all of the workers, who act standoffish. Im clearly there because I want to buy furniture, but there attitude definitely doesnt make me want to spend my money there.
The store is large, which means great selection. But the associates could be friendlier.
Love the look of west elm furniture but it is crazy that business still thrive with horrible customer service. If there is an issue of any sort, good luck with that...
While a good portion of the stuff is great, Id wait until it goes on sale. Very expensive for moderate quality.
The stuff is freaking nice and awesome, the staff are snotty.
OBSESSED with this spot! Such great finds, and amazing sales these days.
Alright store. The quaility of the collections did seem very high. Nic nacs are nice and worth a look.
Beautiful home decor shopping in a lovely setting. Design is paramount at West Elm.
High quality furnitures. Fair trade products too.
Love this place. High style, low prices.
Nice store with well designed displays. I love West elm products but theyre always so expensive.
I have no business shopping here on my budget, but I LOVE everything they have. The staff is friendly, not pushy, and around without hovering.
The West Elm print catalog and website are beautiful but their customer service needs an overhaul. Purchased a table and picked it up in store. The store was closing and they were understaffed so they couldnt help me carry it to my car so I drove around to the backside of the building to pick up in the loading area. Existing my car I knocked on the loading door and no answer. Waited 5-10 minutes then drove around to the front of the store re-parked and got out of the car to try to go inside but the store was now closed and the sales person said we are closed and would not let me in. I drove back around to the loading dock to find my table out in the open unattended. With no help, no thank you for my purchase I picked up the table and left. Assembling the table the next day I noticed that one of the legs was 1/8 shorter than the rest so I called the store to see if they could get me a new leg. They were not accommodating and said I must return the item in full. Not wanting to disassemble the table and drive it back down to West Elm my very expensive table now has a permanent lean if not for the washer I placed underneath it.
Current and classy trends in interior designs and furnishings
Small store with a fun selection of stylish, affordable furniture.
Very friendly sales team.
Loved everything in here! Quality pieces.
The next best thing to a CB2.
Placements are good. Nice shopping mall, but a little bit expensive.
$100 white glove + 10% additional shipping and handling fee is NOT refundableIf you order anything online and wish to cancel your order, the money you paid for shipping is NOT refundable. This is the case for me when I order the product last night and called them the next day to cancel. You can call customer service and they will basically say you are screw! so just take the furniture you dont want or lose $200+ for nothing.
Not that much selection to choose from. Seems more like a place you might stop by to window shop if youre already in the area.
Helpful staff, well maintained store.
Great customer service and beautiful product

Dont order anything from them on back-order. The worst experience ever
Nice place with good service
