My son and I came in for jewelry supplies today. The staff were so incredibly helpful and nice to us! I was truly impressed. One of the staff members (Kelly? Kathy? I didnt quite catch her name but should have!) helped my son find some cool dinosaur charms and showed him a shark tooth and petrified beehive!They also answered all the questions I had as a newbie jewelry maker. Totally my new place for supplies!

They didnt have quite what I was looking for, and when I asked if they might know where I could find it, made it quite clear that:A) yes they did,AndB) they werent going to tell me.I can only guess at why theyd be unwilling to do so. Fear of losing me to another business? Who knows.Regardless, they clearly care nothing for maintaining good customer relationships (so that I am eager to come back when they do have what I need), and so, have lost my business.

The employee who assisted me was very helpful and knowledgeable. I came in wanting to restring some jewelry, but not sure what supplies I needed. She did a great job of helping me find everything I needed and giving me some tips. The store has a great selection and is well-organized.

Love this place! SO helpful, tons of options, and friendly staff. Also appreciate the strict COVID protocols. It makes pleasure shopping fun again.

I visited Beadworld along with my partner because she needed to lengthen a bracelet. While I waited I took a look around the store. I was really impressed with the selection of beads that they had. I did not even realize so many types of beads existed. They had beads as well all the other things necessary to do beadwork. The people were friendly and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. If I ever needed to get beads, this would be my first stop.

Prices and selection are good, and this is honestly the best jewelry supplier in the Seattle greater area in my opinion. I started going here years ago after the hostile, suspicious treatment I got every time I shopped at Alexanders Bead Bazaar, and I cannot recommend Beadworld enough. They also have bunch of stuff that can be harder to find much selection on, like metal findings and wire for wrapping.I moved down to SeaTac a few years ago after having lived in Maple Leaf/Ravenna for over a decade, but I still come up here when I run out of things I need.

I was introduced to Beadworld in 2003.It is so much more than a place to buy beads and supplies; Nikki and her staff have become friends who I look forward to seeing.They are interested in their customers needs, always ready to help.When I have a project thats challenging to finish, I take it there, and get great advice and support.Many times, Ive seen Nikki and her staff giving individual attention to customers; it might be a mom and child wanting to make a first project, or a professional artisan assembling materials for a new design idea.I love being there, listening, sometimes joining in the conversations.Its really a place of community for creative people.There have been times when Nikki has steered me to less expensive solutions.Just yesterday, she suggested I look in the loose beads for what I needed, rather than buying full strands. She even took time to search for what I was looking for!The quality of the findings and gemstones, beads is always excellent..I encourage headers of all levels to patronize this wonderful small business.

Bead World has super friendly staff members. I came in wanting to make some earring with their beads and Im totally new to this...The staff worked one on one with me and Trish showed me how I can wire wrap beads at home. Thank you!!

The staff here are always super friendly and helpful. I had been struggling with getting the items I purchased there to work, all I needed to do it show my issues to the employees who were super happy to suit you down and share there tips with me. They even let me show them the technique I was using were super patent while I was practicing. I am glad I found such a great bead shop!

They have an amazing amount of old beads from Africa. Old trade beads from all over the world. If you ask the owner she will converse with you on a lot of different beads. She is very knowledgable! Can’t wait to go back. I flew in from CO to see my very ill cousin while waiting for her to come out of surgery I stopped by to evaluate the store. Purchased a lot of silver. At the airport they wanted to know the reason for the weight and I showed them the many pounds of silver beads I bought. They were curious what I did with them and told them I am a artist. They were flabbergasted!

Everyone in the store was helpful and friendly. Camille was particularly wonderful. I have had multiple experiences at different bead stores and this was by far the best. I will definitely be back!

I have been here around 3-4 times love the selection and prices I am an avid beader spent a few hundred here by now the only thing I didn’t like was my fault after my last visit I noticed I lost my discount punch card after spending over $130 that’s on me not them they have very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I wish could go for supplies more often but medical issues has kept me away for awhile I do wish they had 6” tubes in size 15.They offer classes I have noticed so as friendly as staff is this would be a great place to get your beadwork lessons done.

One of my 2 go to stops for my jewelry making supplies. They have a wide selection of jewelry and crafting sundries. Their prices somewhat reasonable. I recommend this place to most all of my friends. The owner and her employees are very nice and helpful. Stop by & have a look. I know theyd like to meet you

My first visit and the shop has everything you need, or they can special order. I enjoyed browsing all the tables and found the staff to be very helpful. Caution, be prepared to spend more than you expected because there are so many nice things to select. Great fun. Park in the front.

Love this place. I spend way more than I intend, but I never suffer buyers remorse. Ive found cheaper (minimal) online, but Ive often felt disappointed. Ill spend an extra dollar to pick a pendant that I choose from a good selection, rather than buy online and get something nothing like the picture.The staff has always been friendly and offer ideas or suggestions when applicable, and I just feel like I could spend hours in there. Crafters paradise!

Awesome bead collection! All the extras you might need to bead or make jewelry. I have also taken a couple of classes here, which were fun, educational and helped me improve my craft.

This store was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived with only 15 minutes to see the store before closing (NOT enough time) and were prepared to get in and out asap, but the staff was still sorting some inventory and cleaning up from a demo, so they graciously let us browse for a bit longer.

I love Beadworld! They have lots of beads, findings, and some unique pieces that get my mind thinking what can I do with this cool piece. The people working their are friendly and knowledgeable, and are always happy to help you. They also offer great classes I have learned a lot by taking their classes! Its a great place, you should check it out.

This shop & its staff are so lovely. There are a lot of different kinds of beads (including crystals & some unique, exotic pieces), clasps, jump rings, chain, & even a decent section of miscellaneous supplies for things like soldering. They even have a big table where you can hang out & work on projects, which theyll help you with. Im so happy to have discovered this place & would most highly recommend it.

They dont answer their phone unfortunately and have a full voicemail, and the one day I showed up to buy some string they had closed the shop 30+ minutes early. It was a 30 minute bus there and it was freezing outside. I went just to have to go back home. Safe to say Ill never visit beadworld again.

Im not a beader, but I stopped in to see if they could help me with a broken clasp on my necklace. They were so helpful and friendly. They replaced the clasp right there for me and the total was $0.72!! Thank you helpful ladies at Beadworld Seattle!

This store has an incredible variety of hard to find beads and enough findings--even sterling--to satisfy anyone. Howe very if you are looking for some inexpensive beads to make items for craft fairs they have none. Staff can be helpful, but when I asked for Chinese crystals, I was led to a truly paltry display. I also found prices to be very expensive--4 times what I pay at home for equivalent items. Plus, they apparently dont carry Preciosa beads. On the plus side,you can equip yourself for enamel work quite nicely.

I came here to make jewelry for myself and my bridesmaids. The staff was super helpful and Erin was extremely patient and helpful with the 7 necklaces I had to make. Everything turned out gorgeous and Im so grateful I stopped in here.

Since the first day that the staff at Beadworld helped me fix a favorite necklace my son “sawed” in two with his plastic Bob the Builder Saw, Beadworld has been my favorite artsy craftsy respite. Staff is fantastic, atmosphere is unpressured, and they have a large and reasonable selection of specialty and even collector beads. Owner also looks out for tradespeople. Beadworld is my happy place.

This place is huge, clean, well organized and well staffed. I get amazing beads, great advice and benefit from frequent good sales. And there is parking!

I dont do reviews unless Im absolutely upset with customer service or false advertising. In this case it was just the overall atmosphere. The people that shop here are rude as all get out.When we finally got in line to pay, technically we were next, clearly, but the lady behind us was asked if she was ready.Im not a race card puller but I felt the neighborhood wasnt happy that we were shopping at their bead store. Dont worry older lighter people. We definitely wont be back.

I was a long-time loyal customer and always enjoyed Beadworlds friendly, helpful & welcoming staff....until a couple of days ago. A new(?) clerk looked at me with undisguised suspicion when one of my pendant-items was, in her mind, placed in a less expensive section of my tray. I showed her where the like items were, and my pricing was correct, but she rudely said, No way these are $2.00 -- the setting alone is $2.50. I paid for my $80.00 order but felt sick as I walked out -- I have never shoplifted or tried to cheat a store ever in my life, and I felt like she was watching me to make sure I didnt pilfer something on my out. I get better prices & more courteous service than this on eBay and at bead shows, so why try to support local retailers who treat their long term customers like trash?

I LOVE BeadWorld. I was sad when their Eastside Kirkland location closed.I love how big their Roosevelt location is. The staff is always so helpful and I can always find what I am looking for or get new ideas. They have really great classes for beginners to get more comfortable making jewelry. I always look through their sample items that are hanging on their tables - they are awesome for inspiration.COVID update - I ran into pick up a few items that I needed and everyone was social distancing like only Seattle-ites can. They also have an amazing ETSY store during this time. Way to adapt to a global pandemic awesome peeps of Beadworld.

Great selection, and the staff were incredibly helpful with my project.

This is not the largest bead shop in Seattle. I had to ask for help and the staff was busy chatting to each other, eating food at the register and talking about very personal subjects. They also do not have the best Swaroski selection as claimed (Fusion Beads has much more than this store). The prices for Swarowski is higher than what you can get online or at Fusion Beads. Not impressed with this store at all.
