Came across Tonys workshop in a google map search. Went to fix a check engine light issue and Tony is very knowledgeable and manage to fix the issue at a very reasonable price. Revisited his workshop for a squeaking brake issue and he is very kind to have it checked. Very happy with his service, professionalism and aptitude. He is a very good conversationalist and always enjoy a conversation with him. Highly recommended!

Tony is the BEST (and most honest) auto mechanic in Seattle, hands down! Yesterday, my alternator failed, stranding me in the middle of Aloha Ave. S.. I had my Toyota Sienna towed to Tonys shop after calling two other very respectable shops and getting quotes for triple the amount Tony quoted me. The tow truck driver and I arrived at Tonys shop in the late afternoon and Tony had me back on the road the next morning. He was busy but he was very gracious to squeeze me in. I had a great conversation with Tony and immediately knew I could trust him, which is saying a lot because my father was a mechanic and Im familiar with the games some repair shops play, plus Im one of the most cynical people youll ever meet. Anyway, I cant say enough good things about Tony and will definitely be using him for all future repairs. He is a magician!

Took my car in for a clutch + flywheel replacement as well as to install an internal CSC delete kit. I had an original quote from Tony for the labor costs of removing the transmission + installation of all the new parts.They ran into a slight problem installing the CSC delete kit, which added more labor time on their end than expected. Of course, since I brought the parts to them, I expected to be charged a bit more than the original quote since they had to do extra labor because of THE PARTS I BROUGHT. However, when I got the final bill it was the same as the original quoted price..! I felt kind of bad only paying the original amount since they spent extra time installing my parts... But this is how you know theyre not out here to just get as much money as possible from you.Anyways, the car feels awesome and am definitely coming back here (sorry, Ill try not bring annoying things to install anymore)!

Tony is amazing and I will never bring my car anywhere else because he is the best. He is charming and honest with a killer sense of humor which is all of course lovely, but he also does ZERO upselling, very quickly diagnosed my failed hybrid battery, and had my Prius back on the road so fast I was shocked. He also didnt pad expenses so we paid significantly less than if Id brought it into Toyota of Seattle. Were talking a difference of thousands. Thanks, Tony!

Extremely honest person with a one in a million sort of memory. My car broke down while traveling I had to park it and leave. The next day I called a towing company to pick the car to Tomoko, keep in mind I have never done any business with him. Anyways he diagnosed my car and gave me a reasonable price, though I couldn’t afford it. He was KIND enough and kept my car at his shop for a couple of days for free and never charged me for anything. I really can’t thank you enough God bless you !!

On my ride back home, my cars engine light went on and a temperature warning appeared. I called Tony and he told me to come straight to his shop. He got me in, repaired it in about 3 hours, and got it back to me the same day. He is honest, his prices are incredibly fair, and hes an overall awesome dude.

I have been going to Tony for the past 2 years or so. He has been nothing but the most honest mechanic I have known. He will tell you exactly what needs to be done with your car to keep it running without trying to oversell you on services that you dont need yet. He will give you honest feedback on what he thinks you should do about your car, which in some cases might mean selling your car if you dont want to deal with mounting bills.Twice, I have stopped by with a burnt out light bulb, and he has replaced them free of charge.I have recommended many friends and coworkers to take their vehicles to Tony, and I will continue to do so.

Tony is the best! And I don’t say that lightly. He once took a look at my car for a few hours and charged me nothing when he couldn’t find the issue (note that the dealer couldn’t find an issue either, charged me a few hundred for looking, and put my car back together wrong). He does all inclusive oil changes for a great price! A part on my car broke that is not supposed to break below the transmission. We got him the needed part from the dealer and he even worked on his day off to fix this and got it back to me over the weekend and charged me less than he quoted. He is honest. He cares about the customer and your vehicle. He does great work. I usually don’t write recommendations but I can’t recommend him enough - you will be very happy with the service.

A friend recommended Tony to me after the dealership quoted me $3k for an oil leak in my car. I took the car to Tony and he told me it was super common for my car at its current mileage and I could wait a couple of years to fix it if I wanted. He also quoted me at half the price of the dealership if I decide to get it fixed now. I’ve been going to Tony when he was on Capitol Hill. Very honest, he will try to save you money when possible. Les Schwab wanted to charge me $1200 for brakes! Ouch! Tony did only what was needed for $350. I kept the car for an additional 5 years, never had any other problems with the brakes. Very nice and honest, hard worker. Will bend over backwards to help customers. I’ve been going to Tony for a good ten years!

Somewhat hard to find this shop is located in the back of the lot. And although small and somewhat dilapidated looking this place is anything but. Tony is a busy guy and there is a reason for this. He is thorough, dilligent, and extremely knowledgeable. Would recommend taking your vehicle here for any mechanical work, big or small.

Tony is the best. If you need an oil change you can get that from anyone that can fog a mirror. However, if you have real problems with your car, Tony is your man. He is a good troubleshooter, his rates are reasonable and he is very thorough. I cant recommend him enough.

I have gone to Tomoko several times for my car and just recently for my husbands car. Tony is a top notch mechanic and immediately spotted the problem. The main radiator hose clamp was misplaced by previous work done at a Toyota dealership. The radiator fluid had completely sprayed out and almost fried the engine. Thank you Tony!!!
