Had several fairly small repairs on a used vehicle. All were done efficiently for totally reasonable costs. No upsell and good advice about what was important toasters and what was minor. Would do all services that don’t require the dealership here. Jay is a solid manager.

Gerber was strongly recommended to me by a friend and they exceeded my lofty expectations. My Audi is 11 years old and I just needed to have the Check Engine light investigated. Despite my cars low, low value compared to the beautiful new Porsches in the garage, Jay treated me no differently than Im sure he treats all of his customers who bring far more exciting vehicles in for work. Jay was beyond fair with me and was a huge help...all while remaining very courteous.

I called for a second opinion when a dealership was pushing me on some preventive maintenance. Jay the service manager was incredibly knowledgeable about my 911 Turbo and gave me some great advice despite not even giving them any of my business at the time. Gerber will definitely be getting my business moving forward.

Great group of guys. As you know ownership recently change so I was a little hesitant to take my 993 for service. Tell you what. The work was exceptional and the service 5 star. By the way, i was the one to cut things off with YOU, the heck does banning me for life matter of I don’t want to deal with you in the first place? And I listed why. My review was fair, just like all my others so I’m not changing it. Just responding to their attack.They try to justify and rationalize after the fact, and make excuses. I sent them a generalized list, copy and pasted as far as fuel regulator thingy and other parts but obviously it’s easy to tell what it was, need a vin? Just let me know what you need. You didn’t know what my project was so I tried telling you somethings about it, you can’t make assumptions about the rest since we couldn’t get to that point because of your rude comment, i know of and would’ve brought up during discussions about the project so nice try there.Can’t get to that point if your rude first do anything after that or any questions you wanted to know, you just ask before being rude, or turn the project down. They could have said I’m sorry, we’re going to have to pass or something, instead they said“With all due respect - sounds like you’ve already got it sorted, why are you coming to us? It appears you’re just price shopping for cheapest options”Is that a serious question? if their pricing was comparable, and their lead time was better I’d prioritize them since I saw they are more used to taking apart engines so I felt more assured bringing it to them for the internals at least. It made sense, especially if I’m spending as much as my car costs anyways I’m going to get an idea of what labor and fabrication is going to cost as an average. Seems like a good shop if you get your work done here though, but rude to me. Saying “with all due respect” doesn’t make it any less rude and things like that don’t even need to be said, so poor customer service. They could have cut to the chase nicely. This review is strictly just me asking for a quote and getting a rude response, not for any work done to my car.That one comment ruined my service experience. I’m perfectly fine getting turned down because of the scope of work and everything otherwise. Out of the shops I’ve talked to about this project, this is the only one to do this.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are creative and have been very flexible with me. Technicians were engaged and open and communication is clear and to the point. A+

Brought a neglected 944 with an unknown service history to Gerber and got full services and an inspection completed on the car, and the bill came in under the quoted price for all other workshops I had asked AND under the quoted price we had received from Gerber! Needless to say, I was very pleased and am enjoying the car. The staff are friendly and happy to talk about the cars they are passionate about, Porsches!

The most phenomenal auto shop Ive ever encountered!tl;dr - If you own a performance car, love great customer service, care about the quality of service and cleanliness of a shop and live in the area, you should get all of your auto work done at Gerber.But seriously, I mean it, these guys are everything that I could ever ask for out of a shop:: Friendly, honest, prompt, and they take pride in the incredibly high quality work that they perform.James, the shops service manager, is stellar! Ive never dealt with anyone at an auto shop who provided anywhere close to the level of customer service that he does. If he says he will call you, expect a call; if he gives you a quote, thats what your bill will be. He has helped me out of so many jams its not even funny -My Boxster would literally be a hunk of rust at a junk yard right now, if it wasnt for his ingenuity!The technicians in this shop work hard, and are meticulous about their craft. It doesnt matter if they are doing an oil change, custom fabrication work, or building the head of a race motor, they take the same level of care and the same attention to detail. Im also always shocked at how willing they are to talk with you/take you to the car to show and explain exactly what the issue is, and how what their approach to tackling it would be.Side note: This is hands down the cleanest shop I have ever encountered. Somehow they manage to have 6-8 Porsches in an area the size of a 3 car garage, yet everything is immaculate. There arent your typical piles of scrap parts, grease stains everywhere, etc. They clearly take pride in their shop (I will try to get some pictures the next time Im there)!Enough rambling, I suppose. If you are in the area, and own any semblance of a performance vehicle, you should take it here! You wont be disappointed!
