Acme is the place Ive been hoping to find all these years. I have brought three of my vehicles here. And will bring any more I ever get and recommend everyone else to also. They are a great group of guys to talk with and to let work on your vehicles. This is the type of shop you rarely hear about. I have nothing but great things to say about them. The family story how the shop is run says it all.

Acme is amazing!My van had a tricky electrical problem that other shops had not been able to diagnose and resolve, these guys had it figured out and fixed in no time! Based on that success I had them test and recharge my air conditioning which had not worked well in years. Whatever they did worked because two months later it is still blowing frosty cold! Had them fix a few other smaller issues like a door that wouldnt lock with the key fob, mission accomplished... My 10+ year old minivan is now in tip-top condition thanks to Acme.Experts at their trade, pleasant to work with, professional, fair prices, top quality parts and they stand by their work.Give them a shot, youll be happy you did!

These guys did repairs on my car and really came through! I missed putting in work for many years, and when I finally did they were able to help me out. They thought I might have one problem that was supposed to be fix, only it was that one problem. They we able to fix it and didnt jack up the price just cause they could. This is a shop I highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about my experiences at this auto shop. I’ve had the pleasure over several needed visits from simple to complex repairs done here. All the staff and mechanics are friendly and honest when it come to repairs. I’ve never felt overcharged for the work and have never had something fail after repaired. Had a complete removal of a Jeep Heater core and filters Removed and replaced to fantastic results. To those that know the process it’s a 24 hr+ repair! Most$$$ is labor intense. I was Totally pleased with the results. You do have to leave your vehicle generally for a day, but with covid that’s normal with general mechanics. I highly recommend them as a permanent repair shop for all vehicles.

It took to long to get the food and rude service

The people at Acme got my my car fixed quicker than expected. They also were very helpful in explaining the problem and did not try to overcharge for parts or labor. I really appreciated how they reached out to tell me what was going on and got things done fast.

I have an older car whose electric windows finally stopped working. A local mechanic who couldnt figure it out what was wrong told me to come here, speaking highly of their expertise and service. Sure enough, they figured out what was wrong and instead of trying to persuade me to spend the money to fix it, let me know they agreed and supported my decision to not put any more money into this car. They had even taken photos of the ruined wires to show it to me and thoroughly explain the problem! They did all of this in just a few hours instead of a longer wait time, and, because they diagnosed it so quickly, they didnt even charge me. Great shop, honest, dependable, and trustworthy.

Had my Honda towed there in the morning, new starter installed and driving home same night. Great Service, very fair price. You cant go wrong with this company. Ill be back when the next thing happens.

This place is great! Had to unexpectedly have my car towed here for an alternator issue. Had it done same day and at a decent price. For sure will use them again if need be.

I brought in a car with an alternator that intermittently charged the battery. I figured they would go through the work-flow to diagnose the issue. They told me that I needed a new alternator, a $700 job. I told them that I needed more information than that - anything. They aggressively made their point that they were the experts and I should trust them. Ive dealt with liars before, so I took the car back.They charged me $60+ for the diagnosis and $15 for charging my battery. I brought with me a voltmeter, so I looked at the charge on the battery. The battery was never charged, as it read 10.5V when I picked it up, confirming that they straight-up lied and stole my money.Since theyre willing to lie about something so obvious as charging a battery, they probably lied about checking the alternator, right?. Im not a mechanic, but I looked online for the easiest way to diagnose an alternator. I looked at the voltage between alternator output and battery terminal, and in 5 minutes realized that there was something wrong with the connections. I replaced the nut that secures the wire to the alternator, and fixed the problem. That took 10 minutes, and 10 cents.So, these people lied about checking the charging system, lied about charging a battery just so they can steal $85+ dollars. They tried to sell me the most expensive repair and even told me that they can only put on the most expensive alternator.I never post reviews, but these guys are so out there, that I felt it was responsible to report them. I really hate posting this.UPDATE: They called to apologize and return my money. I appreciate small businesses and would like to give them a chance.

They super good customer service but I had warrenty work and seemed like they didnt want yo spend the time to figure out what was wrong the finally acted up then then spent about 10 mins on it and said it was to complicated for them to figure out i find that to be a lie so 3 stars is what you get

So glad I found a place I can trust! As someone who knows little to nothing about cars, I’m always scared auto places with take advantage of that. However, Eric helped me with exactly what I needed, and I never felt doubtful about the service being provided. Really glad the other places around the area with good reviews couldn’t accommodate the day I needed because I found this place.

Acme tried to solve auto electric problem for me. They devoted a week to it and only charged me $60 for the effort.They werent successful, but two other places before them werent either.Very nice accommodating people. I would do business with again anytime.

Ive lived in Seattle over a dozen years and owned 4 cars over that time. Ive NEVER had as good an experience as I had at Acme. I usually dont gush on reviews, but these guys are so kind, so fair, and they take time to explain. As a single woman, it can be daunting to walk in to a shop out of the blue. I couldnt believe how honest and fair their policies and the pricing is. I wont be going anywhere else. Wish Id known about them years ago!!

They helped me with my Mazda and fixing my headlights. I love the mom and pop/community vibe and they were very informative as to what was going on. I would recommend them!

These guys basically refused to work on my car unless I knew exactly what was wrong.I told them the headlights dont work right. I told them someone messed up an aftermarket stereo job in my car before I got it. The speakers pop REALLY loud when I turn on the lights. They said all cars do that.The headlights come on so theres nothing wrong...thats how they treated me.When I came to pick up my car the door was open in the rain. The door panel was soaked.Now that its cold out, my car has some kind of issue with the electrical system thats draining the battery in the evening so that I cant start it in the morning. Its not the alternator. Its not the brand new battery I just had bought and tested.I wonder if its the thing I asked these guys to fix? ...when I had time and money to fix my car.

I always let them repair my ALTERNATOR, parts are MADE IN USA,not CHINA MADE,theres sometimes an oooopppps!,im also a technician I understand,sometimes if its a newer car updating is required,i have a F-150 2008, i always have a habit of changing the BRUSHES, Before it gets totally worn out!,it saves me trouble for TOASTING the battery or get stranded you know ALTERNATOR & BATTERY they always work TOGETHER,then I sent it back cause theres a MIL (Malfunction indicator Light) battery charge light on my dashboard,but its ON & OFF,I KNOW its CHARGING cause INDICATORS on my dashboard is POSITIVE, OFCOURSE its STILL NOT RIGHT!,IT TOOK ME 3 TRIPS going back & forth, cause at first they cant figure it out!,but then later on,they realized they put a different part no. Or different STATOR, which like i said I understand, the owner i forgot his name, didnt charge me extra for troubles this is like 4 or 5 yrs. Ago,they probably dont know me,but i know them for 20 yrs,ive never buy alternators & starters from PARTS STORE, I go to ACME for repair reasonable price too,I ALWAYS TRULY RECOMEND ACME for ELECTRIC REPAIRS & I THANK YOU GUYS FOR DOING JOB WELL DONE!, my 1995 1600 4 AFE corrola & my 2008 f-150 5.4 liter 3v TRITRON is still humin,i just recently bought a 2014 S premium Corrola, havent decided yet to change the brushes its still have a LONG WAYS TO GO!but i know its not much difference on 1995 corrola again JOB WELL DONE!
