Wanted, needed a new truck. During a supply chain, low inventory, covid, end of year ...and they delivered. Yes, paid some pennys because getting it took effort on their part, they earned it. They delivered. Cam was our service representative and she was relentless. She found the truck. The financial part was ours to navigate, and no pressure from them. And lastly, the manager finished the process by shaking my hand and thanking me for choosing Lake City. Class. They delivered.

I had to get my oil changed over the weekend while travelling, so I had to use this dealership. They changed my oil and did a brake system flush. I dont understand how they could ethically charge me 149.99 in labor for the brake flush alone. Total for the oil change and brake flush was over $300! Please dont get ripped off by this dealership, go to a mechanic. Heck, my local dealership doesnt charge these exorbant prices.
We just bought of 3rd Toyota from Toyota of Lake City! Now happy owners of 2021 sienna and 2021 trd off-road Tacoma! Our buying experience once again was exceptional! The Manager Alex was friendly, informative and absolutely amazing to work with! Ocean was the sales associate we worked with recently with our Camry trade in and was very helpful to get our Tacoma! You don’t feel pressured, they listen and work at getting you what you want! Even during the pandemic they worked at getting us what we wanted. It’s been a smooth process every time! We live in Redmond and make the drive out to their dealership because of the bad way we were treated at the Kirkland location when we first decided to buy 4 yrs ago. Made an appointment for a few days out for normal maintenance. They always do a good job and have it ready on time. They give a coupon for a free Brown Bear car wash. No complaints.
I purchase a vehicle from Toyota of Lake city couple years ago and I went back if they can help me to repair a damage on the vehicle. The manager (Chris) check the car and I was treated like a VIP. I dropped the vehicle on the following day and when I return in the evening to retrieve the vehicle it was fixed as if there was damage no on the vehicle. I was also told, I dont have to pay a single $$$ because of my loyalty to Toyota of Lake City. In addition, Id like to thank Mr. Duane De Lavallade for his excellence customer service.

Came to this dealership,got a 4Runner for the price I wanted it for(cheaper the Kirkland or Bellevue Toyota) buying process was fast,great and easy. I actually called 4 different Toyota dealerships and asked who could give me the best price. And these guys not only gave me the best price but they kept their promise on the price when I came in. This place is a trap if you want to purchase a new vehicle.We went there last weekend and they wanted a $5000 markup with additional $995 clean package on top of MSRP.I know there are dealers charged market markup. But they are not all of them.We walked away after their wishing us “good luck” on other dealers.Today 9/30 they reached out again saying they are offering discount. However they don’t disclose any price quotes by email, even not answering the simple question that it is over or below MSRP unless we come to their dealership.This is insanely a waste of time for a customer and please do your best to avoid this place.

I had a great experience at Toyota of Lake City. I was a little nervous about buying a car for the first time, but they made the experience very positive. I worked with the salesman Jackson, he was very personable and easy to work with. My dad was helping me with the purchase, but wasnt able to be there in person, Jackson spoke to him on the phone for countless hours, and was able to make a deal before I ever walked in the door. He was patient, making sure we got the best deal we could. One of the sales managers Karim worked with my dad over phone to trade in my current car. They were very patient and understanding. Overall great experience and I walked away with my dream car! If youre looking for a car I highly recommend going to Toyota of Lake City.
We had a great experience! I had worked with a Toyota dealership closer to our home and was given the run around. We happened to find Toyota of Lake City and made the 2 hour drive because of their professionalism and willingness to help get us in the specific car we wanted. George and Alex were professional, efficient and transparent during the whole process. The helped me to get the exact 4Runner I wanted and navigated to make sure it included all of the extras that we wanted to add but also to make sure it fit our budget. They kept us informed and communicated through the whole process and made it so easy when the vehicle finally came to pick it up and get on the road! I couldnt be happier with my entire experience at Toyota in Lake City! From beginning to end they made me feel comfortable with no pressure! I bought my two cars here and received car service/maintenance. If you have any issues with the dealership and/or the service department, just talk to the GM, Chris. He will work with you to help resolve any problems while treating you like family.
Service department overcharges significantly, make sure you get your quote upfront and in writing! Just got charged $330 for an oil change and three lightbulbs changed. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve had my Prius’s oil changed & have had lights changed a couple times. Usually runs me $60-80 for oil (total) and ~$30 for a bulb change. This dealershipcharged me $215 in labor alone. I have changed bulbs myself so I know it takes about 10 min to complete. You can see the charges in attached photos.

What a great place to buy a car! In 40 years of car ownership I would never have expected me to write those words. Our initial contact by phone followed by a meeting to finalize the details and arrange financing was the picture of customer service done right. They messaged me to say they had a Toyota Rav4 XSE for sale. I asked them to hold it for me and told them I was on my way. I drove over an hour to get there. When George was done with his speech about the car and its key points another employee came out and said the car had just been sold. It was a classic bait and switch. George then proceeded to try and sell me a higher priced vehicle and kept making statements like i want to be sure you can afford it. He was very condescending and clearly wasnt interested in what type of car I wanted. He repeatedly asked what color car I wanted even though I had stated multiple times I didnt care. They were dishonest and clearly rehearsed this situation multiple times. I will never purchase from this dealership and would not recommend it.

Chris Pappas and Jimmy Ruiz were personable and quick to ensure all my needs and questions were met to allow me to reach my purchase decision. There was no hard selling. I also appreciated how organized and expedient the financial portion of the transaction was. Given a dealer visit can be such a long, laborious process, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. First time leaving a review of a car dealership, but this Toyota dealership really deserve an honest review. I’ve bought two cars from them in less than two years. Today i needed some parts and went there, but their parts dept were closed. As soon as I exit the door a salesman suddenly accused me of talking to the person outside in the parking lot earlier which happened to be a prospective buyer. The salesman rudely accused me of taking his customer. He then threatened me to take a pic of my car and sue me for doing it. I can tell you from this experienced that it really shows the real attitude of kind of salesman to their customers I felt disrespected and have the audacity to accuse me of such thing. When I asked for the dealership company manager so I can share my bad experience the salesman declined to provide the name. After dealing with this salesman I decided to leave and while cooling my car because its 100 degrees outside a finance/sales manager I happened to recognize ( his one of the signer of my first car I bought from them) came out and also threatened to ban me for coming to the dealership and also took my front license plate. Please, please, AVOID this dealership at all cost. I will never buy car again from this dealership nor I recommend them. I’ll be glad to do business with Toyota of Seattle (SODO) who genuinely treat their customers with respect and don’t accuse them of such simply by talking to other customers in the lot. I regret buying two cars from this dealership. Should have went to a respectable and trustworthy dealership like Toyota of Seattle (SODO). That’s where I bought my Corolla and they made a great deal on my financing. SIDE NOTE: the Owner replied to this review as a fake review, but didn’t even bother to investigate. So, this is how you deal with customers review instead of fixing it. No wonder the attitude atmosphere in this dealership is the same as the owner.
I had an emergency & needed oil before a scheduled service apptm at another Toyota Service Center. They were able to squeeze me in, check my oil & put in need oil in a few minutes. They even let me keep the oil I had purchase & threw in a qt for free.

I bought my new car here last year and I regret it. I wish I had bought it from Toyota of Seattle where they treat customers with respect and honesty.Every experience Ive had at Toyota of Lake City has left me feeling cheated and disrespected, including the initial purchase and maintenance service interactions. The only person there who treated me well was the salesman. Others have been rude, dismissive, and full of bad news like, that $6000 maintenance package you bought doesnt cover basics like rock chips.If you are going to buy from them do NOT buy the Northwest Package. It is a scam, they dont honor it and its not officially supported by Toyota so no other dealers will honor it either. There is an official Toyota maintenance package you can buy. It wasnt offered to me when I bought from Lake City. I regret not buying from a more trustworthy dealership like Toyota of Seattle (SODO).
My partner and I have been bringing his car here for repairs since moving to Seattle. We thought this would be the go-to to place for servicing since the last 2 experiences were good. That opinion has changed since our last visit. Very bad experience with the service department.-Repair quotes tripling from 130 to 600 dollars because of damage done by mechanic without proper communication.-Passive aggressive comments-Arguing, excuses and speaking over customer on the phone.The price of repair was somewhat remedied after stressful communication but our last experience here was extremely unprofessional and left us feeling very insulted. I plan on taking my complaints further than Google reviews.
Kenji on the sales team was fantastic and we couldnt be happier with our new Rav4. If I were to do this process again Id want to work with Kenji from the start.I came to Lake City after having a horrible experience at another dealership in WA where they were all smiles and friendly until they took my down payment and then changed the delivery estimate from 2 weeks to 2-3 months. I had to escalate to their finance director at the other dealership to get my deposit back and begin the search again.Kenji was a complete 180 from that experience, since the car was coming from the factory he gave me the exact delivery window and was very upfront that it may be a couple days delayed worst case scenario. He texted me to give me updates right up until the day we picked the vehicle up (within the exact window he originally told us). Kenji is a really respectful guy and made the process so much more pleasant.Signing with finance was quick and relatively painless - push for warranties as they do at any dealership in the country so I cant fault them for that whatsoever. The individual who helped us wasnt guilting us or unreasonably pressuring us but rather explaining benefits and cost breakdown and the process was quick and we were out the door.If youre looking at Toyotas in WA Id definitely recommend Lake City given my experience working with 5+ dealerships and finally landing on one which didnt pull any bait and switches and communicated professionally throughout the process. I came to Lake City because of the ample positive reviews with their sales team so figured I owe a full update to those who are in a similar position.
We used to go here for maintenance after purchasing our new Toyota vehicle in 2010 at the same dealership and were very satisfied with the service we received. We had a leaking timing gasket repaired/replaced in January of 2017, paid $1300 and found out that it is leaking again. Now they want us to pay the discounted rate of $1700 (down from $2300) to repair this issue again and would not budge on pricing because the repair work was out of warranty. Never coming back here again. Not sure what happened to the great service that this dealership used to provide.Side note: We also came by the dealership back in 2018 to look at trucks and was looking to purchase a Tundra because we had such a great experience when we had previously purchased our other Toyota in 2010. The sales guy, Russell, tried to talk us out of buying one because he thought it was out of our price range without even asking about our financial situation. Good thing, because we went through a different dealership and bought our Tundra with a better trim package for a better price. Thanks guys! Keep up the great work so your customers can get better deals elsewhere 👎. Good job at making baseless assumptions too. My recommendation: Go somewhere else.Update: 1/21/2021I called the general manager after they commented on my review saying to contact them and the general manager was busy so I left a message with the receptionist and never received a call back from the general manager. I will never be going back to Lake City Toyota again. Worst customer service. 👎👎

We have a Toyota Tacoma and took it here to be serviced. It was very easy and quick when I called to schedule an appointment.While it took longer than expected, the staff was communicative and pleasant. The service was thorough and the service clerk explained everything that was done or needed to be done and when.I walked to a nearby park rather than stay and wait in the waiting room, but I did stop in and take a look. There was plenty of space and clearly marked areas between seating so that people could social distance.
I called to get a quote for a replacement driver side rear view mirror. I received a quote for $228 for a replacement mirror that you can get at auto-zone for $43 and this did not include the labor to install it. Considering labor costs I would have been billed roughly $300 by Toyota. What did I do? I went to Puyallup to get the part I needed and spent only $43 and installed the mirror myself. $43 vs $300 Really Toyota? This is the best you can do?

I leased a Tacoma today from Ardit, and it was the easiest experience I’ve ever had buying a car. It was also the first time I’d done most of the work online. I test drove at another Toyota dealer, but as a woman shopping for a truck without my husband I felt condescended to and pushed into a deal I didn’t want by that other salesman. I emailed and called a few other dealers, but everyone I talked to at Lake City was straightforward and quick to respond to inquiries. Ardit made the process easy and so pleasant, I got exactly the truck I wanted with reasonable negotiating, and picking up my new truck was a breeze (thanks to Bari in the finance office, too—he had so many extras to offer at signing but didn’t push me on any of them). If you shop here I definitely recommend Ardit, he was great!
Just calling into the dealership is a breeze and the staff is very helpful. I was directly connected to a service rep who gave me credible advice, saved me time and was pleasant to talk to. Although I wont need to get my rav serviced here, I would definitely recommend going to them if youre looking for great service.
Yo the only reason why its 5 star is because of my lady, Camille. Shes an awesome Rockstar sales lady that handled our situation with grace. She has a warm spirit and genuinely cares about us as customers. Even when we bought our rav4, she made sure our car was clean; even made the car wash guy do it twice cuz she like, its gotta be right. She has work ethic that goes beyond getting the sale; she has a family value energy about her - she will do everything in her power to take care of you. Follow this kickass woman - she going places.
Gah! Whatever you do, do not buy tires from them. They do not warranty them for road damages. Sheesh, they sure charged plenty for them too.

I was quoted about $300 for my repair but then once I towed the vehicle to toyota the price jumped to over $600! Ryan was very adamant that he could not budge on the price. But after emphatically telling me they could not go lower; Ryan asked someone else in the service center and they said the repair was $150 less then what Ryan was saying.Just make sure you get your quote in writing. Very disappointing as this is the only Toyota service center in my area.

She was proactively proposing options that were more suitable to us. Got a gap insurance because they told me if I got into a accident the gap insurance will cover whatever the insurance does not pay. I got into a accident, and the insurance company said the only way they pay for the Gap is of the car is total. I felt lie to, and am not happy with it.

Our salesman Joey was wonderful. Listened and gave me all the information I was seeking in my preliminary car buying research trip. He is 100% the reason that they have 3 stars and not 1. I would love to be able to work with him at another dealership.Not as pleased with other folks. I was clear we werent buying and the sales manager could have been worse in his pressing to close the deal. It felt a bit scammy that they gave me a trade in value from KBB for my vehicle based on mileage and condition then took off another $1500 for reconditioning my vehicle - the KBB is based on condition and so taking off more for fixing chips in the paint (the only issue they mentioned) is disingenuous and kinda sleezy. Yeah, gives them more negotiating room, but really?But somewhere between sales and service things went poorly. I received an email from their service department warning me that my vehicle was Overdue For Service. Considering I have never taken my car to this dealership but have had regular maintenance performed on schedule with another dealership since I purchased the vehicle (and I know that the information is linked to my VIN as Ive had work done while traveling cross country in the past), I was confused. I had not taken my vehicle to their service department. I hadnt asked to be added to their mailing list for service. And when I called service they said they had no idea why I got the email and sales said the same thing. Somewhere in there theres something wonky going on.

After getting in touch with the general manager and his team about my windshield. The GM ended up saving me money on a windshield replacement. I got quotes from multiple places and none told me about my windshield has smart technology. The windshield needs to be calibrated with the safety system. Even with the cost of that I still saved money compared to my other quotes.
We’ve owned a lot of cars in the past 50 years and this was by far the best buying experience we’ve had. Our salesman, Max, was very knowledgeable, professional, and generous with his time and experience. He was very believable and exuded genuine enthusiasm. No pressure. Kept continually asking what they could do to make a sale that day, pulled all the cliche sales tricks, had the very strange policy of not letting keep any of the pricing paperwork when I left.I want going to leave a review but their incessant contacting me afterwards convinced me that I should let other people know about them
I have been a customer for 4 years, this is my 2nd time buying from Toyota Lake City, and it was another amazing customer experience for me. George Chaker and his General Manager, Chris Pappas, are professional and transparent about every step of the sales process, communicating pros/cons, and balancing getting the customer a great deal, while communicating what the dealer needs to make it work for them. Above all, I feel that Chris values the long-term relationship with me, maintaining trust and integrity, above making a few more dollars. It feels good, it feels genuine, and its what will keep me, and someday my kids, coming back to Toyota of Lake City. Speaking of kids, my 14 year old daughter came with me, learned a lot, and had a great time although the sales process takes several hours. Shes a good judge of character: She really enjoyed our time with Shay Wilson, our finance manager, who explained the paperwork, financing, and the pros/cons of options in a clear and friendly way. I never felt pushed, just informed to make my own best decision. I got a great deal, but more importantly I felt like I was taken care of by good people who I want to keep doing business with for a long time. I have had nothing but good experiences on the service side. Wrt COVID, they take things seriously: Everyone wears masks, the tables were cleaned frequently while we were there, and they maintain excellent social distancing between employees, and with other customers. The only redeeming thing about this dealership is their diversity and a couple of the vehicles they sell, but even those have major flaws. Just bought my second toyota from them and l will never buy a Toyota again.They will knickel and dime you wether you are a loyal customer or not. Its disgusting how Toyota does business.
The transaction was efficient and I was able to drive the car home within a couple hours. The staff were all very kind and friendly. I especially appreciated the constant sanitation they were doing. It was a pleasant experience and a great deal. Nate was the sales manager that helped me with the deal. He was very on top of communication and was also super responsible, as he stayed longer than he was supposed to just to make sure that I was properly taken care of when I arrived. I highly recommend this dealership if anyone is looking for a good deal and just good people to work with.

I bought my 2017 red Rav4 Ltd. at Toyota of Lake City last summer and had it serviced there yesterday. What a great car! I was fortunate to meet Ivan at the dealership. He was able to answer many questions and take me on a couple of test drives. I found Ivan and all of the sales people there to be friendly and accommodating. A great experience!
My mechanic recommended a repair that he could not do because it required an alignment afterwards. Took it to the dealership because its very close to where I live. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I had them do a $40 inspection and they came back to me with an estimate of $2100 for the repair which was a rack and pinion. I expect the dealer to be a few hundred dollars more expensive than other shops but this seemed very high. I took my car to a trusted mechanic in Ballard and came out with a total bill of $1200 for the same exact repairs. I assume the work at the dealership is trustworthy and as I stated I had good interactions with the employees. But almost a grand extra is too much for me.
I showed up today to look at several vehicles. A salesman was assigned to me. Nice guy but not impressed with his slovenly clothes and shoes. After walking the lot looking at RAV 4s, I picked one to drive. Then the fun started. He took my drivers license and then gave it back....then took it again to photocopy and gave me it back. He then went back to the desk to get more paperwork....frankly I watched him walk and and forth to the desk four times before presenting me with some paperwork to allow me to drive the vehicle. He then asked for my car insurance and I texted my car insurance.....back to the desk again. He then he asked me if I had a copy of it with me. He was totally disorganized.The RAV 4 was nice....but it had 275 miles on it. Then I got this is my sales manager and these cars are sold fast so dont wait. I advised him I was methodical in evaluating and purchasing a car and to please text me their best price........1,000 over MSRP and no mention of the Toyota rebate that is available. This dealership used to service my Land Cruiser but my experience was truly negative today.P.S. Dont buy the 2021 red Supra....with the 5,000 markup....I found one at a Toyota dealership my brother uses for 6,000 OFF sticker. (57,000 MSRP). Save 11,000...look elsewhere.

My experience at this dealership is the best that I have had buying a car. They really took care of me. The process was transparent and they were very straightforward. The manager Chris was a really nice guy and seemed genuinely interested in finding a car that works for me. He didnt try to upsell me at all. The finance guy, Shay was straightforward and honest. He did a great job of explaining the value of different packages and again didnt try to upsell me on a bunch of stuff that I dont really need. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Toyota.

The finance department is unhelpful in all aspects. Requested a refund from Lake City for an unused warranty. They told me I could go to any dealership to do this. Go to my nearest dealership, they tell me I have to go to Lake City. Go to Lake City, they say that they just need 1 document to issue the refund. Give them the document, told me I would receive my check in the mail in 6-8 weeks. Months go by with no check. Call the finance department to ask what’s up. No answer, so I leave a message and my contact info. No call back after a week. Finally get through and they tell me I was supposed to mail them an additional document to release the money! Very frustrating to work with and will give you the run around if given the chance.UPDATE: I did talk with the GM Chris and wow, not helpful. He kept asking what he could do to fix this, I said I want my initial emailed questioned answered. He said I’m so sorry I’m trying to help you.. then answer my questions!! He finally pawned me off to another finance advisor who was helpful. I’ve FINALLY received my refund checks after months of unfortunately working with this dealership.
I was in the market for a car and eventually ended with a purchase of a Toyota Venza at this dealership. I came in to the dealership and was introduced to a sales representative by the name of Kenji. Kenji was very knowledgeable, understanding, kind, and helpful. He kept communicating with me throughout the process and even following the purchase to make sure I am happy with everything.I am very happy the whole team at Toyota of Lake City (especially Kenji, Arsen, and Shay) on how they handle their business and be personable at the same time.Toyota of Lake City will definitely be on top of the list of dealership to contact when myself, family, or friends are in the market for a car.
We went in to look for a Tubdra crewmax, and ultimately were going to leave when we found out they only had an access cab in stock because we were searching for a quad cab truck with a lot more room than the Audi we had... a Tacoma double cab pulled up and our sales associate Joey and one of the sales managers were chatting us up on our way out and convinced us to just take a look at the space in the Tacoma. We ended up pleasantly surprised with out spacious it was and ended up taking it for a test drive. It handed very well (TRD Off-road, short bed) and had enough space to fit our rear facing car seats without compromising all the legroom up front like we experienced in our Audi & currently in our Explorer Sport (I’m 6’ 1”). They found one in our 2nd Choice color Magnetic Grey Metallic (We REALLY wanted cement with the premium tech package which gets you the leather seats) while we were bummed on no cement, we didn’t want to sacrifice losing the tech package and definitely wanted the leather... we left with an AWESOME deal on final price & trade in value for our car! One of our musts was front and rear parking sensors, and a miscommunication from their team confirming the premium tech package contained both ended up not being accurate, as the off-road version only has rear camera and sensors (after our purchase and delivery of the truck) - the dealership offered up front to make it right for us after questioning why we couldn’t get the front sensors to engage when we got it home. They’re installing the front oem sensors for us! We didn’t have to ask, they anticipated and owned it proactively for us.Lastly, we used the Costco auto program for this and if you don’t know about it and have a Costco membership and are in the market for a Toyota, it is a MUST to use! It got us an amazing deal! Thank you Joey for your help and talking us in to checking out the Tacoma. We are very satisfied with it so far!
Not good at all, never coming back, even i set an appointment, they would give the car back after 5 hours, (just needed the basic oil service to be done), the lady who was at the begining, started giving me the prices of all services, even the car has not been checked yet to see if it needs those services or not, I know dealers trying to make money at all costs, but not that way to me. Very disapointed.

One of the best dealerships, I have worked with. I was referred to them through Costco. They provide excellent service. Not pushy at all and are transparent with their prices. When I was enquiring around while purchasing my first car, they had lower rates than most of the dealership around the area. Once we went to their showroom, Faiz and CJ were very helpful and respectful of my budget. They worked with me and went out of their way to provide me best possible deal to help me get the model and specs I wanted (right down to the color of the car) in my budget. The car buying experience was a breeze because of them Highly recommended.
Note that all the good reviews here are for the dealership itself. If you look at the reviews for just the repairs department (which is an independent shop), youll see they are all 1-2 star reviews.We brought our Corolla here to get the repair done for the exploding airbag recall. Afterwards, the airbag light in the car was on. We assumed it was on because they disabled it and they would fix it next time we brought it in. So when we brought it in for the next recall repair, they gave it back to us with the light still on. I told them that I thought they would fix that as part of the repair, but instead they said we had to pay $130 for the diagnostic, and if it was their fault, theyd give us back the $130. So then they ran the diagnostic and insisted it wasnt their fault even though it came on right after they did the repairs. Not only would Chris Stroud, the service manager, not take responsibility, they wouldnt even waive the diagnostic fee as a curtesy. Then they quoted us $1500 for the repairs. I would not recommend taking your Toyota here. There are other Toyota dealerships that wont rip you off like this one will.

Updated: Finally resolved. Took almost two months to get plates.Purchased a 2021 Tundra over a month ago and after multiple phone calls with the dealership theyve been unable to send license plates. Tabs at this point have expired without resolution. How does a dealership lose license plates? Weve called and left messages to have the GM call us back multiple times.
