I very rarely write reviews online but Edwards Automotive runs such an honest and truthful business, I had to write a review! I could give this place 10 stars if I could. I’m a young woman living in Seattle by myself. I don’t know much about cars and easily could have gotten played into paying $$$! I came in for an airbag repair when Bill told me that I could go to my car dealership to get it repaired for free. I told him I didn’t have dealership insurance and that it most likely wouldn’t work out. Bill called me back to tell me that he personally called my car dealership and confirmed that I could get this service for free! I thanked him so much for the honesty and he told me that it was just “the right thing to do”. Now, I always come here for my car problems or if I need a check up. Come here if you want an honest, reliable service!

Bill and his guys are amazing mechanics they did a great job and their fees werent as much as what I thought they were be they treated me well they communicated great and they got the job done regardless of how difficult it really was to find parts they made it happen. I will be coming back to him for all my needs on my vehicles.

Bill helped me to fix my turn signals, making time in between other appointments and even ordering a part for me and completing the part switch in great time! He was friendly and knowledgeable, and explained the diagnostic very clearly. Such a breath of fresh air! Definitely recommend this place to people who want straightforward help with no pressure to spend more than you need to!

Car was acting funny on drive from CA., so I stopped driving, rented a truck and tow bar to get back to WA. Found Edwards Automotive as a recommended site on AAA website, and I could see why. I highly recommend them, and was so nice to have a honest mechanic. I will fully recommend them to friends and family. They will have my business. If I could give 10 stars, they deserve it.

Like all those other posters ... We also found these folks to be helpful and kind. Theyre not the fastest and they may not have the specific expertise needed for that weird little fix ... but theyre great for all the usual stuff. Also? theyre conveniently located (just off Aurora)-- hard to beat that!

I had a buyers inspection on my car today. Bill performed the service. He happens to be the owner of the auto service shop. He took time to listen to my concerns and went through various pieces explaining the condition each part was in. I was very surprised to find out my car didnt need work done besides an air conditioning component replacement in the near future. Many places will over-exaggerate issues in order to make a buck. I found Edwards to be an honest place of business. The location was very convenient. They happen to be located on the same lot as the new Chick-fil-A on Aurora there in Seattle. All of the staff were very friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. I believe I found a place I can trust to take my vehicles for service or repair if needed. It isnt always easy to find a trustworthy mechanic shop.

The staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly. Ive found it can be intimidating getting service from a mechanic being a young woman that knows nothing about cars yet wants to learn and get a fair price. Here I was treated respectfully, given a fair price and good service. The people working here have been working there a long time and know what they are doing.

George and his crew are top notch. They treat our 3 cars like they were their own. I cant say enough positive things about their integrity and the quality of their work. No fancy waiting room or free coffee, but fair prices for a job well done!

I have been using Edwards Automotive for about 3 years now, and have had a better experience with them than I have had with any other auto maintenance shop.They have integrity, are always very helpful, and always finish their work on-time, or ahead of schedule. They always call to inform me about what they found or what their recommendations are, before doing any work.No doubt I will continue to take my vehicles there!

This is one of the few businesses I miss after moving out of Seattle. I was referred to Edwards by my neighbour and was impressed by their honesty and customer focus. On a few occasions, I was talked out of service that was not needed at the time. (I often do my own maintenance and would rate my aptitude well above average re. automotive maintenance and repair. Im simply not tooled up to do all aspects of maint. & repair on the newer vehicles.)

Best place to go!

First off they didnt have a charging station for my leaf. Second of all I thought I walked into a newsroom instead of the office. Third of all everybody seem too involved in other things. Final point the smell of chicken is overwhelming. I had a 10 mm I think one of their employees stole it so I got this tattoo.

Very helpful in keeping an old truck running and in compliance for emission testing. I recommend them highly.

New brakes seem to be working well. Havent gone through a stop sign or rear-ended anyone so far. And the service was top-notch from start to finish.

This place is fantastic...The other reviews are well deserved and I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, and professional repair shop. From the moment I walked in and spoke to both John and Bill, I knew my vehicle and I were in excellent hands. John has been very courteous and helpful with all my questions and price inquiries. Bill was also very nice and this guy has probably been wrenching on cars before alot of these cars and drivers on the street were even born and it shows. This review is based on the work they did on my 2000 Mercury Mountaineer. I had them do three major projects (starter, thermostat, and radiator) and once again they did a fantastic job. They fixed my battery cable set up without me asking and now it looks better and performs better and I really appreciated that. I still cannot speak more highly about this place and I am very fortunate to have found them.

Ruined my vehicle, lied about it. If I had the money to hire a lawyer theyd already be out of business. Stripped the evaporative canisiter fittings, caused vacuum leaks that they arent able to fix so I cant pass emissions. Same vacuum leak caused brake system failure, they charged me to repair the crash damage and still never even tried to fix the vacuum leak THEY CAUSED. Incompetent liars, do NOT trust these clowns!
