I was looking for a very particular type of easel, and couldnt find it there. But the store itself has lot of goodness! Its far from where I live, but I absolutely wouldnt mind the drive for my are supplies. Bonus: Good people!

Staff are always very friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable about their products and willing to discuss differences or make alternative suggestions if they dont have what youre looking for. Not a huge store, but a great selection all the same!

I love the selection of art supplies at this store! One of the best art stores I’ve ever been to. It seems like they chose to stock art supplies for people who want to make professional, beautiful, quality art work! And there is also fun art supplies too! But this place is a great resource for artists who want to use good quality materials for sure! Always something exciting in there that sparks inspiration!

Cute local art store with a variety of paint (watercolor, pastel, acrylic, spray etc.), color pencils, canvases, accessories, and more. The store is small, but they pack a lot of materials in here. The staff is approachable and helpful for anybody that might be an art novice like me. Prices seem pretty fair. Overall, a great place for art lovers or hobbyist.

Excellent art supply selection. I brought my art major friend here and she lost her mind. High end products and the staff are very knowledgeable. Highly recommended and not terrible parking. I recommend parking on Market St, its the cheapest and easiest.

Great selection of art supplies and good prices. However I felt like the staff were annoyed that I came in. I felt as if I was bothering them by interrupting their conversation when I wanted to check out. Perhaps it was a fluke but it definitely turned me off from wanting to come back.

Nice little store offers professional grade art supplies. Limited selections with much higher price than Blick. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Decent store to get your art supplies

I live up the street from Dakota art store, and it is Probibally my favorite. I love the selection and the staff is ever so helpful. They know just what Im looking for and arent trying to suck me dry with the most expensive supplies. They give me recommendations on what to buy for a beginner and what to my as a experienced artist. I plan to stick with you guys 4 life.

Dont waste your time with these folks. They wont answer their phone and they have no useful product information on their website. Unless you live in Ballard, it is not worth the drive to see if they have what you want.
