Customer service desk was very slow, but were very helpful and resolved all my issues.Store layout could be a little more intuitive... but quicky found what I was needed after I found an employee.
The male young manager ( sorry I didnt get the name) at Northgate branch who helped me today (10/18/2021) at around 11 a.m. is super good at his job. Best Buy is lucky to have him as the store manager. We will continue to support Best Buy store at Northgate.
The store... it was fine. Getting in past the guy at the door. A tad dumb. Door man needs to come down off his high horse. By a lot. A job is a job... but youre a doorman at bestbuy. Not a pleasant experience to get into the store. But once in the store it was nice. Workers were nice and willing to help with any questions. First bestbuy Ive been to in awhile that actually had a large selection. Went in for a TV and some camera gear. Was great to see all the options. May come back, but I came all the way from Puyallup for a specific item that none of the stores near me had, that I wanted now.
Employees were friendly and willing to help and answer all questions to my satisfaction and help me find the equipment cables I needed from my home project AAA+++AAA recommend this Best Buy store !!!

By far the worst Best Buy location I have ever been too. The phone associates have the speed and technological expertise of a deaf eighty year old with dementia. There were two associates who were extremely slow. I waited a total of fifty minutes before getting help - though honestly, the wait doesnt bother me. What bothers me is that after waiting thirty minutes without acknowledgement, when the (very slow) associates finally were ready for the next person, they let a woman who had been waiting five minutes cut in front of me. I mentioned that she had cut; the associate shrugged his shoulders, said theres only one person now cause he has a meeting so I just have to wait, and left. Instead of being efficient, the remaining associate proceeded to waste time flirting with the customer. When another employee clocked in, he also started his day by flirting with the customer instead of, you know, working.Im still glad he came, because the other associate was still not finished helping the customer when I had left (Im really impressed how he managed to waste so much time chatting; I wish I could get paid to stand around and chat at my job!), but he was not knowledgable at all regarding the product. He gave me a webpage with instructions showing me how to transfer my data from my old phone; it was outdated instructions. I can google myself; if you dont know how to do something, just tell me that and save me the time so I dont stand around thinking Im missing something.Also, Northgate lies about the conditions of their products. I have gotten open boxed products in premium condition from Best Buy many times before. Dont expect the same here. When I said I didnt realize the phone would have scratches on it, the associate said the box said so; he had asked if I wanted to inspect the phone before purchasing, but since he didnt bring up the scratches or give me the box beforehand, I presumed this location would have the same quality control as other locations.So in summary, be rude and cut in front of other customers; the employees here will reward you by ignoring the people who have been patiently waiting their time. Next time, Ill drive to Lynnwood and still get done before the Northgate associates bother to acknowledge me - heck, I could bet I could drive to Marysville and be back quicker.

Staff are super friendly and helpful but Best Buy Corporate is evil! They don’t give you any warning online that THE TVS CAN NOT BE LAID FLAT IN YOUR CAR. They crack! Wasted a car rental for this… :(
We went to buy a treadmill. At first the employee told us Best Buy dont have this specific model. When we told him we saw it on Best Buys website he went silent. After he found out they do have that model he couldnt answer if they can provide assemble services... which is weird for buying a machine worth of 4,000 dollars and having to assemble it yourself and basically ruin the warranty...he couldnt provide any official answer. Do they really wanna sell their products or they do not care? Cause if you are selling a product especially in that range of money you should be aware if you are offering assemble or not....
They tricked me into buying a keyboard and mouse; they told me theres wasnt one in my HP All-In-One, but there was. They got me good.

Ive gone here a few times to buy items and get some technical help. When I needed some technical guidance, the geeksquad team was always prompt and could solve the problem. Ive bought tons of stuff from Best Buy and this service has been a God send. Solving my technical solutions dissolved a giant pile of stress in my life. Thanks for that.

Had to use the geek squad desk at this best buy 3 months in a row for 3 separate computers. My experiences with the geek squad team were amazing and they are super helpful and knowledgeable. Isaac and Enrique are beyond helpful and positive. Couldnt recommend them more... However, had a bad interaction with Manager Sarah, who treated me like trash for no reason, maybe because she thought I was someone else? I wish I could give Best Buy a 1 star and Geek Squad a 5 star... Instead Ill split the difference and say this branch is a 4.

Every person Ive ever interacted with at this location has been able to help me quickly and address any questions I have or find someone who knows the answer. They always know about current sales, promotions, ways to save money and dont pressure you to buy anything you dont want to.

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM BEST BUY. No amount of money saved is worth the absolute nightmare of getting appliances delivered and installed from Best Buy. If i could rate this 0 stars i would. I am awaiting my FOURTH (!!!) person to come and verify the installation done, because they could not position the washer/drier correctly and the drier vent got smashed as they tried to move it. This is ok top of hours spent on the phone with Best Buy customer service, in the Best Buy stores and at my home waiting for delivery people that don’t call and show up hours past your delivery window. Save yourself this nightmare and buy from a dedicated appliance store
It’s Best Buy. You’re paying 15% more than you can get it online for but are too impatient to wait for Amazon to 2 hour ship it to you. I understand, don’t get me wrong, I am just as guilty as you. But in a couple years they probably just rip it down and build a light rail station

DO NOT shop at this store or any Best Buy for that matter. Spent 10k in one day on appliances and electronics, a month before I needed it delivered. The consultant guaranteed the delivery date and the professionalism of the installers but when it came time for delivery, I got a cancellation call 20 min before the scheduled delivery/install. It was scheduled for a week later, but then cancelled AGAIN 2 days before due to agent unavailability. The consultant I worked with did not return any calls or texts and when I went back to the store, I was presented with new options which were AGAIN changed last minute.The manager of the store also did not feel that a free installation was warranted, despite the continual inconveniences and schedule issues which wasted several vacation days from work. This store, the company, and its policies are a complete joke. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!
Placed an order during Black Friday and opted for curbside pickup to avoid shipping charges. Surprisingly, it took over a week from the time the order was placed to when my confirmation of pickup email was sent! This was noted to be late and delayed by Bestbuy, but still very surprised as it was just 1 small item that showed as in stock at the Northgate location.When I finally went to pickup the order, only curbside pickup is available as an option (no in store pickup), which is fine and makes sense during covid. However, the curbside pickup area is in the lower level of parking garage, so there is no cellular service and you are unable to utilize the app directions for your pick up (contactless directions are in the order pickup email and also posted all over the parking garage—see photos). Instead, there are a few employees directing cars and manually asking for phone number or order number to find your order. Really surprised at how archaic and inefficient this process was. Also felt unsafe with employees right at your open car window to ask for your order info. Even scanning a QR code or something would be faster and safer. We waited about 10-15 min (there were also a couple other cars waiting) until our order finally arrived. One of the worst curbside experiences ever. ☹️
They were supposed to cancel and order that wasnt in when it was scheduled to be and they didnt. now i call to try to cancel it but they havent been answering the phone for several days. you get a recording that says this location isnt answering calls. What the heck?
No one will even look at you or talk to you if you didnt set an appointment with an associate. Trying to buy something in a locked case I didnt know I was going to buy when I came in, and no one will help. Bought it at target downstairs and that was fine and easy and the employees were at least available to help me.
Pros:1. They had what I wanted for the best price around.2. Parking is great if you have a small vehicle. I didnt and had to park a ways out.3. At least 1 person was very polite and professional. More on that below.Cons:1. Store was practically empty. I had to sign up for a queue to look at what I wanted as I entered. During that 20+ minutes I stood there, I watched multiple employees wonder around looking like they were just trying to look busy. Some people are just looking for the easiest way to get through the day. But as someone who has to manage workers like this, I put a lot of this issue on management for allowing this atmosphere.2. When I finally had someone come help me, it was from another department and he didnt know anything about what I was asking. I think I would have still rather had him though. He was very nice and professional. The fact he was trying to help made him quite a bit better then others I was seeing. His only thing to try to answer my questions was to look online. I had already done that and already saw what the manufacturer posts. I ended up getting answers from forums to my question.Summery:All in all, I got what I needed for a decent price. Thats the important part. Just the experience was harder than it needed to be. Going forward though, I will make sure I go, knowing exactly what I want, and to a different location with parking for a full sized truck.
Great service in purchasing cheaper non-gaming laptop. My college student is very pleased. Added waterproof carry case and Best Buy purchase insurance. Honest and courteous.

Good, accessible location. Easy access on the first floor of the center, plenty of parking. Staff is helpful when your turn comes around. Only downside is when key / featured floor models are not in stock, requiring them to order rather than carry out (a minor inconvenience).
If zero was available thats what they would get. My computer worked when I brought it in, but my email was hacked. They said the installed their virus protection. Unfortunately, it wont even turn on now. They immediately said it wasnt anything that they did. Bottom line, it worked when I brought it to them and now it does not. No one has been assigned to look at it.
Roberta assisted me today as I brought my HP laptop in for repair. It seemed like a minor fix but Roberta helped me realize that my issue was more complex than I realized! She gave me a quick, knowledgable fix and had my laptop working again. While inquiring about purchasing new laptops, she was very knowledgable about several laptops and helped me narrow my search as a viable option to replace my laptop. I recommend her as an agent.
Best buy has been great. Got an oculus quest 2 from there, got a google chromecast, a waffle machine. Great place for getting most electronics

Cool store for browsing around. Its a cellular dead zone being underground and beneath two or three other department stores, however they have free Wi-Fi. And theres plenty of help if you need it.
Pretty good experience overall, this being my first time at this location. I had ordered a gift for pickup and it was ready in less than one hour. Shortly after leaving the parking area (thank god its completely separate from Target, I found I had purchased the wrong item, so I went back. They are screening for masks at the front door and using the opportunity to offer good customer service by making sure you know exactly where to go based in you purpose. I was directed to the exchange/return desk, but finding the line too long, decided I would find the item I needed first. Staff were sincere in their efforts to help me, and I was able to purchase the last item on the shelf. I still had to wait a bit in line, and the cashier had a little difficulty as he looked to be new; however he knew when to ask for help and had great support. I was out the door in less than 30 minutes. I would recommend this location mainly due to the great customer service. One star off for poor signage on the location of the pickup area.

Not exactly the greatest customer service. Everyone of the employees on the floor was on their cellphones or tablets... Did not greet me or engage me...
I could not get through on the phone because they are not taking phone calls. When I arrived I was highly advised not to transport my 65” flat screen in my car, which is great advise! So they suggested delivery service which a week out. Then they suggested an XL UBER, which I called and they said XL means it can seat 5 people not a flat screen, so I spent $8 on that cause of cancellation fee. They close when I get out of work so I can’t go pick up my $600 plus flat screen unless I rent a van so that it can sit up right so it won’t get damaged. If only I could have chatted with someone on the phone? I could have taken care of all this before arriving. Now I have to rent a van on my lunch break and drive all over town to pick up, drop off and then drop off again. Best Buy please put your phone services back on or pay for these extra services.

I had a brief walk through Christmas Eve to check out sales and look for last minute gifts.The staff were fantastic. I spoke with about 4 or 5 sales representatives during my shopping experience and they were all extremely helpful professional and respectful. With it being the most intense time of year to work in customer service I was really impressed by the cheerfulness in the fast paced environment at this facility. :)
Went to geek squad since my laptops hdd died. They were all very friendly and very professional answered all of my questions and they did fix it and took great care of it! Took one star because I had to order my hdd online since they didnt have any of them in stock.
Great experience and lots of safety measures. They count customers as they enter/exit, direct you exactly to where you need to go upon entry to make things quicker and limit time Im store, and everyone there was super helpful/friendly.
Not their best store. Their wifi barely works and given the fact that you are down in essentially a concrete basement, its your only realy hope for internet. They pretty much eliminated 80% of their movies and there was so much that was either out of stock or had no price tags. Honestly it felt like walking into a Frys than a Best Buy.

Do not buy appliances from Best Buy! And do not buy Samsung products!Ordered washer & dryer combo from them. First delivery they sent severely damaged equipment so had to reschedule to receive new items. Second delivery attempt they canceled at the 11th hour. Each time, even though Best Buys fault, I was put at the back of the queue for delivery. Took 3 weeks to receive instead of the initially quoted 1 week.Items are terrible quality. After 1 month, had problems with the dryer. The Samsung warranty service is abysmal and confusing. Took 2.5 weeks to send someone out and they made it even worse. Samsung refuses to take responsibility or honor their warranty in terms of getting this fixed in a timely manner. Ive been without laundry for a month and still counting.

Tried to return some earbuds I received as a gift for store credit, since I didnt have a receipt: they couldnt do it because my earbuds were too expensive at $190, which surprised me, because I looked up the exact model and saw them for $69.99 on best buys own website. Also, they said because I was in Seattle city limits they decline to accept non-reciept returns on high dollar items in the city(kind of recommending that I go to the butbs to make the return). I just want to get an unlocked phone with the store credit.... What a hassle:(
Went to the store to grab a 3080 during their recent inventory drop. I had to stand in line and could only buy 3090 because of limited quantities.The whole experience was enhanced due to the kind store manager (I couldnt get her name), who showed a lot of courtesy towards the people lined up for the GPU since midnight. She allowed people to reserve their spot and come back later because of cold weather and rain. She also accommodated the late comers since they have leftover 3090s.
Ive always had great service in store when someone is trying to sell me something. I have had the worst time trying to schedule a repair for my washer and dryer. I was told the soonest they could come would be two weeks and when I said that wouldnt work for my household I was told that I should wait 24-48 hours for someone to call me. This never happened. It is now 3 days later and I called back and wasted 3 hours talking to people who could not schedule an appointment or give me a phone number to call that could schedule. I later received a text saying my appointment has been scheduled for almost 3 weeks out. Further out than my first call. This is so infuriating because if I had saved $500 on the protection plan I could have had someone out here to fix my washer tomorrow. What a wast of time and money.
This best buy is ALWAYS dirty. The staff is pretty rude as well. We pulled up to curb side pick up and the guy raised his voice to my girlfriend beciase we pulled up to the wrong spot apparently. It could of easily been handled with a little kindness instead of immediate displeasure.I pretty much only shop here to price match Amazon but be able to pick it up same day.

Terrible experience at this best buy. All customers are greeted by an unwelcoming Best Buy loss prevention officer, demanding that potential customers state the purpose of your visit. When I described I wanted to stop by and trade up equipment for a discount per the website, he flatly stated we do not do that. After pushing back he let me enter, but said I had to proceed directly to a register. After entering, I saw the same officer search multiple customers belonging on entering the facility, and made an elderly customer stand at a random desk for no apparent reason. The customer service rep was modestly helpful on resolving my trade up request, but is this Best Buy location so busy that they can afford to treat every incoming customer like a suspected shoplifter? Complete absence of courtesy. Ill never shop here again when there are so many other options.

Always BBs fault: severely damaged machines, last minute reassignment of delivery driver, and simply didnt show up. Even though it was 100% THEIR FAULT, they always de-prioritized my order to the back of the line!!Ended up canceling and going through Home Depot, who actually delivered a functional set on the date that was scheduled.
Worst company ever. Just go somewhere else. Trust me.

Done shopping here. Bought an external hard drive that came with free virus scanning software. Decided I wanted a different model. When they gave me the refund they said $14.95 wasnt refunded as it was part of a bundle. I told them I didnt purchase a bundle. The clerk said it was for virus software. I pointed out the add said it was free and I didnt use it anyway. I was refunded. However if nothing was said, I would have been out $15.00. Also, the online price is lower than the in store price. Im done with Best Buys dodgy business practices.

When we went first time in Best Buy Seattle, we got really good experience. Alex was our helper, he was so good and smooth in communication and helped us in buying thousands of dollars worth stuff.When we went second time (on May 1st, 2021 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm PST), we were yelled at by a salesperson, who was not even our helper, just because Best Buys sensor was not working and alarm went on 3 times as soon as we touch the displayed laptop (ASUS Ryzen behind the counter). Added my visit time and date details, so Best Buy can identify the salesperson and take an action on the rude behaviour.
Im not inherently opposed to box stores. Some of them do a good job of customer service while also offering good value. Best Buy, in my experience, is the very worst of the box stores. The experience in the store is often bad, unless you can find exactly what you want quickly. Lack of concern for customers, and inconsistent training of staff. The website is riddled with glitches if youre ordering online, super long hold times, poorly trained agents if theres a problem (which is often). During the pandemic, while some chains have risen to the occasion, things have gotten much worse at Best Buy. Curbside pickup was a meltdown yesterday - a cascade of errors on the stores part. Their explanation? Blaming the customer. Sadly, this wasnt the first poor experience - its been like Russian roulette. Says a lot about the company. Next time Ill shop at small businesses or chains that respect their customers.
I love this Best Buy location. I have to give a shout out to TONY. He works with the curbside pickup. He went over and beyond to find my item that I needed right away. Kudos to TONY...his customer service is excellent.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and truly helpful. Bought a new TV for relatives that were still using a digital converter on their analog set -- nightmare! Best Buy team listened to what I needed and found a great cost effective TV with just enough of the bells and whistles.
Placed an order on which they offered next day delivery. Next day order status was returned undeliverable with a 5 day refund processing time. No attempt at delivery was ever made. Not shopping with them anymore.

I just loved this place. It had everything I was looking for and more. Im a huge fan of IoT products and they had the Google devices, Alexa, sensors, hubs, lights and this silly Star wars VR game complete with a light saber controller. I was approached at least 3 times by staff asking if they could assist me. They also offered a lot of information when I did ask about a product. So very friendly and knowledgeable. Im in danger of spending a lot of money here...
This is my go-to Best Buy.I came here to drop off my old vacuum and carpet cleaner for their recycling program, yes, they take in old appliances and recycle them. I like it since I know Best Buy will recycle them responsibly.Overall experience: Really friendly staff, someone greets you when you come in and very efficient process. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes.Bring your old appliances there so that you can dispose of them responsibly and help the environment!
Best Buy has always been a great place to shop physically no matter which branch you go to. Clean, well organized and helpful but not clingy staff that are willing to help you at a moments notice. Especially during Covid, this place just gets everything done right, from seamless curbside pickup, to precautions while entering and checking out. Not much else to say.

Simply non functional. 3x tried to order for delivery in a row april 2021.All 3 times had major issues and never received items.Hours on hold with multiple dead ends/ disconnects/passed bucks by clueless ESL service reps in india.Do yourself a favor and try reaching a real person before you order. Good selection.... But be aware, half of the items are underpriced just to get you spend more on cheap goods...... Please dont get me wrong, I love this store!, but I also know that I can get the same (half of the inventory) for less online. Some great TV deals
Not as sad a chain as it was 5 years ago. If you’re looking to talk to someone about the specs of the tech you’re admiring, it’s the place to go. If you’re looking for inexpensive tech accessories, stick to online ordering from cheap Chinese knock-offs or the app of the good old-fashioned American corporatist monopoly supplier. Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, Best Buy is a hard-working and ingenuitive chain box store. Could be worth your while to visit. Especially since there are appliances you can’t get at Sears after that Libertarian drive then into the ground.
