I loved working with Bauformat Seattle on my kitchen and bath remodel. JD, Dave and the entire team are wonderful. JD was so patient with me as I made decisions and changed my mind a few times (before ordering). He worked with me to find items within their line and vendors but also gladly welcomed me bringing outside items like my sink, bathroom mirror, and tile for the kitchen back splash (who is now a vendor of theirs). He was skilled in finding the right colors and design to fit my style. They worked to keep within my budget and their estimate accurately reflected the final cost. The quality of the cabinets is great, no surprises from what is in their showroom and the contractor they hired is a perfectionist - witch caused a delay in finishing but was well worth it for the results. The team was very responsive to all my calls, even if they couldnt get an answer right away. The entire team seemed as excited about the finished product as I was. I highly recommend Bauformat Seattle for design, quality and customer service. Ill post pictures after painting.
I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this company is! I Was in the beginning stages of a build out for a retail space. JD and Dave helped me through the process of cabinetry not only for my office and kitchen, but for my show room! The fact that they could do custom colored cabinetry to match my logo and my branding was an instant plus for me. Not only that but their attention to detail, design, and execution was flawless. From the first day we met to go over design until the very last day of install they have been on my side, paying attention to every detail, and making sure that everything was perfect. I now have a full show room with custom green cabinetry, a full office, and a kitchen with all of their product! Come over to Coopers Optique in Uptown and take a look at it...they also have a beautiful show room in Belltown!!!50 stars!
I highly recommend Bauformat Seattle to anyone looking for cabinets for their kitchen, bathroom or closet. All its cabinets are crafted from the finest materials and are extremely durable. Not to mention, they have a fantastic team standing behind them who are highly-knowledgeable and a true pleasure to interact with.
Seldom do I write a review, but in this incase I think the public should know what theyre getting themselves into. This review is not to bash the people that work at Bauformat, they are mostly very kind and respectable persons. That is what earned the second star.To start from the beginning, the bid for our kitchen cabinet order was sent on January 31st 2020, finalized and ordered on February 9th and still to this day have an incomplete kitchen due to incorrect parts being ordered and mishaps at the warehouse (so were told). It is now close to six months later and we still have no resolve in site and an incomplete kitchen.I ask my Bauformat representative for an update weekly, but Im never actually given a date that the list of four-to-five punchlist items will arrive and be installed (Panel to finish the island/large pantry cabinet so we can unpack/spice-rack pull out not functioning/cabinet drawers not working properly).Lets talk about the quality. For the most part the quality is pretty good, but all the parts are from Germany, so forget about a quick turn around. When the pantry cabinet bank did not arrive as scheduled, I was told they will air freight the cabinet to be installed in a couple weeks. That was back in late April and still no cabinet, or even a date range they can stand behind. The cabinets function rough with the Tip-On push to open on most of the lower cabinets, so if I were to do it again, Id order a different option. Try and stay away from them if you can.All in all, we spent top dollar for what we thought was for a top notch product and the customer service, unfortunately both have disappointed.Update to Owners response - 06/06/20; Hello thank you for the response, but allow me to clarify. The spice pullout was not due to a shipping problem and in fact it is installed in the kitchen, but was ordered incorrectly and it is backwards. The replacement for the spice rack showed up close to a month ago, but it was the identical issue and we are now waiting on a third spice pull-out to be the final version we should of had from day one. The story with the a pull out drawer underneath the microwave that does not function. This part has been ordered twice now and both replacements did not work. As for the pantry that was ordered in April, yes that arrived to Seattle and your shipping company made a mistake, which is fine. On site I was told it will be air-freight quick shipped over, to this day we are still without these items. I understand that some of them have arrived, but as Ive mentioned before, the installer has made it clear that they will only show up one more time to finalize the install when it is all on site. That being said, I still have no update from your team, just responses to this comment. Not a great way to treat your customers. I paid top dollar for what I thought was a top product, but sadly Ive been disappointed from the customer service and from my experience the quality for the price.
