I came in with two bald front tires that no one else had in town and the owner and the crew worked hard and got me out in 30 min. The price was nearly half from previous quotes around. I overheard a coworker or possible customer saying “it’s never this crazy and I was still taken care of. Nathan’s around the corner only had one tire I needed and referred me over, so props to their business as well!

I have been taking all my personal and work vehicles to Monterey Tire for over 20 years. I found that they are honest and stand behind their work. Paul has always treated us as family and I wouldnt think of using anyone else. They truly are the best.

Came in with a flat repair, was greeted promptly and politely, all Covid protocols being observed. I was helped quickly and the pricing was surprisingly affordable.

The staff at Monterey tire are very professional they always give you the best recommendations they tell you exactly what you need how your tires look they dont sell you stuff that is unnecessary compared to other tire businesses. and when you buy tires from this place you get free tire rotation just mentioned to them that you bought the tires through them or show your paperwork they do have busy times and slow times its always best to give him a call theyll definitely be happy to help you out.

Sold me 2 bad tires because they didn’t carry a new of what I needed. First tire went flat. Took it back, second tire was bad as well. Unbalanced tire which eventually could have ruined my car or caused an accident. Took my car to a different tire shop and got it taken care of no problem. Horrible service, never even offered to new ones ordered for me.

We had a problem with a tire & they said that Jiffy Lube could fix our tire, so we went there.

Nice local place. They ordered my tires, got them installed in no time.

We had a flat tire in Carmel with our 3 month old daughter, and I forgot the wheel lock key for my Jaguar at home in Bay Area; and it was sunday. We found Monterey Tire, they were able to work with the Jaguar dealer next door to get the wheel lock key so the tire could be taken off and fixed. I called them when we were on our way to the shop, when we got there, they already had everything ready for us, after 15 min, we were on our way home, they were our saver! They were nice, effective, highly recommended.

Im a previous customer and I wanted to get a quote and try and do business with them again. I have always dealt with bill. I emailed them and asked for a quote, I had mentioned what I have seen price wise and such because Im getting prices. I dont know much about the cost of tires so I do what anyone does and get some quotes. I never asked for anything free.. I just wanted to know what their quote was and got this gem of an email back from Paul. I had a whole in one of my run flat tires. I went to several places in Monterey, with out any luck. They had a used used tire and replaced it immediately! I was on my way in no time flat! Exceeded my expectations! Definitely recommend this place. Friendly and great customer service!

SO FAST, SO HELPFUL! Had an allen wrench in one of my tires. Took it to Goodyear in PG only to be told they could not patch and had to replace all my tires. Took my car here for a second opinion. Patched my tire for 21 bucks in 30 minutes on a very busy morning. Was able to squeeze me in before a he worked on two trucks and a motor home that needed 8 tires replaced. THIS PLACE ROCKS! THANK YOU!

Had two new tires installed, I told them to put the new ones on the rear and the old ones up front. When I got the bill they charged me $29 to rebalance the old tires. When I complained, he said those were my instructions.

Local without of state plate. Vast difference in treatment. Up sold and lied about which tires had the worst tread.So I still need new tires...go to Costco

I had previously gone to Costco to replace tires on my Subaru Impreza, but there was some damage to the rims due to a curb. I was told the rims needed to be replaced. I took the car over to Bill at Monterey Tire and he checked the rims and said he could fix them no problem. He was then going to let me go back to Costco free of charge to have my tires installed. The man saved me $450 by fixing my rims!!! I returned my Costco tires and gave Monterey Tire my current and all future business.

This is hands down the best damn tire place in the Monterey area. Helpful, friendly and ready to to care.of you. You cant find a better tire dealer.

I like these guys. Dont be fooled by their tone on the phone. Just about everyone Ive talked to on the phone there sounds like theyre tired, grumpy, or walking dead. It can be really off-putting, but in person they are all pretty nice.Ive been here twice for tire patches both times and they have been awesome. Also, they dont charge any extra (or even really notice) for low profile tires like a lot of places do. They are cheap and work really fast. Theres rarely a line too, so that makes turnover pretty quick.

Blew out a tire and brought it to Bill. I was out the door with a new tire in about 20 minutes. Fast and affordable service. Will return again.

Horrible! I went in to get a tire patched up and they tell me they cant patch it, and so I ask how much for a used tire size 185/60R15 and they say $40 which is RIDICULOUS then they wanna charge over $100 for that tire. I did research and the same new tire is $50. So I told them no thank you, and I was really polite, and they came back and told me, If you come back its going to be $80 for the used since you told us no. You should go somewhere else. Are you serious?? Who tells a customer that, they seriously lost alllll of my business and I will never ever recommend them. ON TOP OF ALL THAT, I WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE AND THEY PATCHED MY TIRE UP NO PROBLEM!!! THIS PLACE WAS JUST TRYNA GET MY MONEY!!!

I went in to change two tires I had my own tires that I wanted them to put on so for changing 2 tires they charge my $70.00 I felt so ripped of when I asked the cashier why so much he did not have an explanation because at other tire shops for changing a tire its like $10.00 never going back. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE
