I purchased a product that wasnt in stock, so I had to order it online. The expensive moisturizer said it was shipped, but 2 weeks of waiting, I contacted the customer service to find out what happened. They told me that the shipping company lost the package. The shipping company told me they never received it. Obviously something isnt right and I dont see why the shipping company would have any reason to lie...The customer care representative never apologized or showed any empathy, instead just told me it would be shipped again. Im still waiting...
Angela and the team at Dermalogica are such a pleasure to work with. Each member of their staff is knowledgeable and the environment is welcoming.
Im admittedly late to the skincare game, but forever grateful to have found Dermalogica (& even more so to have one of their stores locally!)My husband & I first heard about the brand on NPRs How I Built This podcast... The owners story was pretty amazing and we loved her knowledge and the way she talked about her products. When I mentioned to my husband that I wanted to start better protecting my skin with SPF (but was weary of the possible chemicals involved) he suggested I referred back to Dermalogica. Genius! Their website was full of helpful information & their skincare experts knew even more.I went in today and worked with David. He did a (free) face mapping to really look at my skin and whats happening with it. Ive been having hormonal breakouts and some blocking that my normal regimen wasnt touching. David took me through a sampling of my ideal skincare routine and by the end, my face was softer, smooth, appropriately hydrated and lacking the red blotchiness Id had upon entering the store. It was amazing!I loved the no-pressure, educational atmosphere that he created. Every question I asked received an answer and I got to sample all of the products in store, with a guide showing me how to use them. It took the fear and intimidation out of the buying experience. I ended up spending $200 on a cleanser, exfoliant, moisturizer, and spf. He said two of the products would last me 8-10 months and the others 3-6... which really doesnt make them that costly in comparison to the no-results natural items Id been buying at Spouts. Best of all, I know that they are right for my skin. Sometimes, we do our best to create a hygiene regimen, but without consulting an expert, we end up harming our skin more than helping it. Im incredibly grateful to Jane (creator), David (my new expert) and the Dermalogica brand for restoring my confidence via my skin!
