I dropped my car off at a Ford dealer in Scottsdale that led me to believe that I needed a new engine. Given the outrageous price they quoted me, I needed a second opinion before I could commit. I decided to call these guys and immediately felt comfortable. Bryan called me every day in the process of running tests, going above and beyond to keep me updated and reassured I was being taken care of correctly. Within the first day of them digging into my car, they found that I needed far less than a new engine. A 10k quote from Ford turned into a 2k fix here with the same warranty. Once again The Car Repair company came to my rescue. I was at work running some errands for a client and my car was acting like it didn’t want to start . After I got off work at 2pm I headed straight over to the Car Repair company. They greeted me and recognized me when I walked inside even though it had been some time since a brought my car in to be serviced . The only way I can describe this place is that its the Ron Swanson of car repair, meaning they are honest and straight forward. My Main contact was Brian when my AC stopped working on my 2013 F150. I first went to a dealership who had all the bells and whistles of a big business and they tried to pile on all the extra things that dealerships do and honestly it was annoying. As luck would have it, I stumbled on the Car Repair Company when I was looking for touch up paint and Brian didnt do paint but directed me to a trusted source, I liked that he didnt just brush me off. So, when I got the huge bill from the Ford Dealership, I thought I should call him up. He gave me a lower price and even was able to correctly diagnose the issue which the dealership missed. My AC now blows FREEZING and it was just in time for summer. I would recommend these guys over anyone I have encountered in the valley. Thanks Guys!

A little extra vigilance...I made the decision to keep my 17 yr old Hyundai Santa Fe with relatively low miles. This presents some problems with rubber & plastic parts as they crack or break, develop holes, etc. Some parts are no longer available at local parts stores. Brian went out of his way to locate the part I needed and only found it available through Hyundai -- and it still needed ordering. That means a second check in & movement by the technician -- all extra time & effort. Part came in a few days later. All fixed. Going forward, especially with an older vehicle, its good to know a repair shop will spend the extra time & effort necessary to complete a repair.

All of the guys are honest and super nice, very knowledgeable and willing to actually explain things to me patiently so I know what I’m spending money on fixing. I’ve been recommending them to everyone since I started going a few years back.

I took my 2008 Ford Escape into the Car Repair Company for an oil change If Jim did not have integrity, respect, a love for his business, a fond appreciation for his customers and the same characteristics in his personal life I would not take my car back to the Car Repair Company.Of course the initial oil change process was easy as pie. My entire vehicle was inspected to make sure I was/am safe on the road and I was not bamboozled with unnecessary repairs. Let’s not forget our 2 favorite greeters Brandy (we miss you) and Riley. If you are a dog lover you will be in heaven as Riley will make you feel right at home in the comfy waiting room of this dog friendly facility (bring yours too).I would strongly recommend the Car Repair Company for any of your car care needs.

Brought it in for overheating, told them it was likely the waterpump. They came up with the stuck thermostat to be replaced, which they charged me a total of $ 370 ! thermostats cost about $16 and are easy to replace!!

My wife and I began bringing our vehicles to Car Repair Company for nearly 10 years. When our children switched schools, we found a shop closer to house. That will now change...Our 2007 Toyota Sequoia has been a great vehicle. The one issue is around tires and road noise. We bought it used from a dealer in 2010 so we would deal with the dealer at the beginning.In Summer, 2016 I started hearing some of what I would call excessive road noise. In my mind, it was coming from the front end so after consulting a different mechanic he suggested front wheel bearings....done.....still dealing with noise. Next was shocks and struts.....still having noise . Given that this car is typically driven by my wife, sounds really stood out when I drove it.After hitting a road block with the mechanic that I had been using, I tried the dealer (it was in for a recall at the time) - still had noise. Next - another independent.....still headache.Checked the internet blogs and decided to take it back to Jim and Shane at Car Repair. I was heading out of town for a few days and said you have a few days......please do what you can to fix it.After Shane and Joe spent some time with the car on the rack, wheels spinning and using their ears to listen for the crazy noise. FINALLY it was determined that the REAR WHEEL BEARINGS were the culprit.I gave the thumbs up to Repair and the process was completed.I came back from out of town and drove it home - in wonderful quiet! My wife drove it the next day and she texted this car drives like a dream.Thank you Shane, Joe, Jim and Marc! You guys really went above and beyond and revived our experience with our Sequoia.In the future, we wont even consider another shop.....the drive is worth it.You will not be disappointed with this shop.

Within a small waiting preiod they came up with a detailed report as to what was wring with my car. I went ahead and had the work done and the final price came in much less than anticipated. Very unusual for a shop and a great benifit for me. The work was done and my car ran great. Their service manager called me on every step and I was the best experience that I have had with a repair shop. I brought my wifes car in also and the same excellence in service.
