Bel Cibo is the friendliest place I have ever set foot in, and the food is exquisite! Their service is second to none. Every time I go there I leave in a better mood then I came in with. The attitude and sweet personality of the owner and her staff are inspirational and should set an example to all business owners as how to not only take care of their customers but how to make their experience there a positive one. This is what makes you go back there again and again!

Good food, relaxed atmosphere, enjoyable live music for Sunday brunch.But sitting at a window table where there was more light made it hard to read the chalkboard menu with the generally subdued lighting (no written menus), and it was hard to get a refill on coffee. That came as I was preparing to leave.These were minor issues however. Overall a nice experience.

What a charming dining experience! Food is carefully prepared and tasty. So many delicious options, hard to choose which one. Soup, sandwich or both, you cant go wrong. The homemade mac salad is awesome. Ill be back many more times.

Again, friendly environment and yummy foods! Greeted each visiting guests and friendly banter. Place looks clean, well kept and lovely decor. Conveniently next to the farmers market on Jay street. Breakfast was yummy, fresh fruit, and mouthwatering bites! (I got the pumpkin waffle with peanut butter maple toppings) MmmmmMmmm 🤤💗

Stopped into Bel Cibo on a sort of drive by visit. Didnt know what to have for dinner and wanted something new. Service was amazing..HANDS DOWN! Jeanette, the owner and Jane at the front of the house were super friendly and accommodating. I wanted a salad from the lunch menu that was not listed on the dinner menu and they were more than willing to make it for me. My husband and I enjoyed the homelike feel and the food was the icing on the cake. :)

The staff was very sociable and kind. Bring your appetite because portions are large. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I loved.

Delicious paninis and the Mac salad is amazing!!! I assumed the cupcakes had to be brought in by a bakery because theyre so fresh. Theyre made by the owner right there on-site. Perfect place for friendly service and great food!!

The food and service were wonderful. The atmosphere of Bel Cibo reminds you of a little cafe in Italy. From the array of spices to the delicious food, everything is tantalizing to your senses. I highly recommend checking this place out, many, many times!!

Come here every sunday for breakfast and would come everyday if i could. The wait staff is amazing and the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the food is packed with flavor and passion. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area.

The food was alright but the experience wasnt what I had hoped it would be. Serving staff seemed to be frazzled and seemed to go a little extra to surrounding tables. I went with some co-workers and they werent really impressed with the service that we received. I was excited to check out the business after hearing the owner do a panel discussion on being a woman in restaurant industry. So was definitely disappointed. I would try again maybe during dinner but wouldnt rush to ever return for lunch.

Bel Cibo is one of my favorite places for lunch in downtown Schenectady. The Turkey, Brie, and Cranberry Panini is freaking delicious and such a wonderful treat. Coupled with the fresh cranberry macaroni salad, and I couldnt help but make Bel Cibo one of my weekly regular lunch places. In fact, their restaurant is cute and welcoming, the owner is absolutely wonderful and sweet, and their menu is well priced for the high quality food you get there. My other regular favorites include the Mango Turkey Wrap, which I always get with extra mango salsa. The Cuban sandwich is not only fantastic and well made, but also an extremely rare find in the Schenectady downtown lunch scene. Oh, and their salads are no joke either. Each beautifully prepared and thoughtfully considered for your tastebuds to enjoy.If youve got a hankering for some yummy soup, Bel Cibo has some incredible daily specials there as well. The mushroom soup being my personal favorite. Bel Cibo also has a Sunday brunch, will pre-prepare dinners for you to heat up for your families (Friday and Saturday I believe), and give away a free yummy cupcake for your birthday! Finally, if you are or know an aspiring chef they have some incredibly jarred goods, sauces, marinades, chutneys, and the like. From the few weve tried, weve both been very impressed cooking with them. The ideas are always very creative and tend to make my taste buds sing just from reading the labels.

The little plates menu was out of this world Friday with a cuban theme from the show at proctors. My bfs order came with a cuban soup that we fought over and the jalapeno wontons were so yummy. (Would have loved a bit more filling) Jane was our waitress and she was super friendly, really helpful in choosing out dinner and a lot of fun when it came to ordering our drinks. We loved listening to her energy and her genuine love for the place as she helped other patrons.Decor was super charming and everything was reasonably priced for the food you received. Our only regret is we passed on the cupcake. LolCant wait to try a Sunday brunch because it looks spectacular.
