So tonight my husband and I scheduled a Covid vacation for the first dose in the Walgreens on Eastern ave in SchenectadyThe pharmacy clerk was not only rude, but turned to fellow coworkers in the pharmacy department and said โ someone want to take this, because Iโm dealing with thisโI was confused as I thought this vaccine was free to all AmericansBut they wanted my insurance information to bill the actual administration of the vaccineAfter doing my research with cdc websiteNo location can require insurance and if someone comes in to be vaccinated without insurance then they are to be given the vaccine no questions askedBut this โKarenโ felt it necessary to call fellow workers over to take care of us as she was not willing to help usI may add that a young lady by the name of Tara came to our rescue and D escalated the situation and helped us to get to our scheduled vaccine appointmentWhen I tried to see her name tag of the โKarenโto mention her in this reviewShe wasnโt wearing oneI truly believe every location that administering this vaccination should be formed with information proper as for the CDC guidelines
They have always been very helpful and friendly to me at this location. The store is clean and organized. I enjoy receiving deliveries from this location for the apps. Theres an atm for convenience. They have decent deals. Plenty of parking and also located along the bus line, making it easy to get to.
This place need more staff theyโre very slow they just west times that it so whoeverโs in charge of this store they should really get more staff
Good health and not a lot of people there
This is where I received both my doses of the COVID vaccine so it will live forever in my personal folklore. My complete vaccination story follows here.My appointment for 12:35 April 11 is actually my third COVID vac appt. I originally scheduled for April 18 at Aviation Mall in Queensbury, but when I heard Price Chopper/M32 had the Johnson(2) vac, I decided to see if I could get the single dose sooner. The closest was Utica (1.5 hrs away), and the 1 dose was not guaranteed available. I called this morning to ask if it was and they said no. They also said that they had overbooked for the time I reserved and were hoping to cancel me. OK, dont want to have to go there twice. There were no closer stores that had 1 dose so I kept my original appointment, but searched local Walgreens and found a place much closer than Queensbury or Utica where getting 2 doses would be no problem. It does require me to get my second shot on Mothers Day. I have cleared this with my wife, who is double vaxed.4/11/2021: I am preparing now to go receive my first dose. I will admit I had hoped to luck into the 1 dose vax to avoid having to be injected twice, I dont like it. It would have been great if Vaxart had successfully made their oral vaccine! If they can get that working its an unbridled world-beater.I have returned home from getting my 1st vax (Moderna). I increased the rating to a 4 because the pharmacy staff were very helpful and friendly, the store is big, open, and bright, and the prices on some items were very competitive. I bought some shaving foam and contemplated some cereal purchases. My arm is sore and I am feeling a little dizzy.4/12/2021: Soreness persists and has spread through my shoulder and lower arm. No other notable side affects, dizziness didnt persist and otherwise things are fine. Feeling the soreness though. BTW if you are wondering, I did cancel my original appointment at Aviation Mall.4/13/2021: Still sore! No other side effects at this point, but the aching persists longer than a flu shot does.4/15/2021: Four days later still a very slight soreness, but only when I think about it. Probably not much to add until I return for my 2nd dose next month, when I will finalize my rating and review. Its now April 25 and exactly halfway between my shots. News out today of ~5 million people not getting their 2nd shot after the 1st. Dont be one of them.May 9 and I have my second shot this morning.I received my second shot and the pharmacist delivering it was great. He was truly appreciative that I had come all the way from Clifton Park. It was especially quick, and I did buy some discounted cereal this time, Kelloggs Raisin Brand, because the sale price was better than what the Grocery stores price it on sale. I am upgrading my rating to a 5, which I did not expect when I started out here. They earned it.It is May 10 7:45am and I have no side effects other than soreness, which has not been as bad as last time. I have heard a lot about the 2nd Moderna shot being harsh. Hoping to make it through the day.
Constantly rude... may be worst shopping experience I ever had. Awful rude employees so wish it was still rite aide. Never ever shop there
Iโd love to be able to give this store a good review, as itโs the one i rely on for my medications but sadly that is not the case. the nicest way i can describe their pharmacy is slow, INCOMPETENT, and rude!!! waiting 45 minutes for a prescription they told me pills be filled only for them to give me the wrong medication completely. absolutely ridiculous.
Love it great service and products
They are very helpful in this store.....
The managers at this Right Aid are awesome they are very helpful and I love coming to this store
Most of the pharmacy employees are rude, and take for ever to get your med ready. 3 hrs to fill up 2 meds? I wish they change that crew and put likeble ppl cause we pay to be served not to be aggravated. 2 men and 3 woman. Analize your self and if you are in that group, you still got chance to change your attitude.
I never had a problem in that store until I had to contend with the fill in pharmacist some Asian woman. Very rude. Cant count. Make remarks about the 2 pharmacists that been there forever. Been going to Rite Aid for at least 3 decades.Get rid of her. I had to pick a star rate I picked one she deserves none. She continues to work their, i will go to cvs or walmart. I dont need this.
Worse pharmacy I have ever had to deal with, I have had a issue with every pharmacist there except Andrea, its a problem every month to get my monthly perscription refilled. In the process of switching pharmacies because this place sucks!!
Ive been going there for 3 years now (i live around the corner) and ive literally never had a problem. Everyones accomidating and polite.
Very tidy.
My rite aid is good.but they dont take the ID on the Phone.
Clean & pleasant atmosphere
Had worst experience. With pharmacist Lilly she should go back to school She has no clue what shes doing and very rude and bad mouthing other employees
Horrible! Very dirty especially the pharmacy. The staff is very rude and unable to help out.
Erin is the best
I avoid this Rite Aid altogether. They are not well stocked and it is in a sketchy area.
