Looking for home made jelly for a gift. They sold many jelly products and other chutney mixes and mustands. Bought them gave away as a gift and some for myself. VERY DISAPPOINTED jelly were old and dried out. Dont try the jelly. Some of the strawberry jam was brown should have know better.

This place is the definition of cozy on the inside. Tons of cool stuff and friendly staff. I got a basic breakfast sandwich with sausage and it was awesome, very filling. Unfortunately the hash brown was not so good, just very plain and soggy. But overall well worth the stop in!

Great little shop, stopped in after a ride on the bike trail for some ice cream with the kids, left with several small pies. Could easily spend much more time and much more money in the store, cant wait to go back.

Awesome place to get some farm fresh breakfast. Had the basic on a toasted hard roll with bacon egg and cheese. Great size sandwich, a generous amount of bacon. coffee is great too, they allow a mug fill as well. Value and quality beats any franchise.

Nice country kitchen/gift store decor. Food, though limited, offered sandwiches. I recommend the breakfast sandwich called The Widow Maker, 2 eggs, cheese, ham, bacon and 2 sausage patties. Seating is limited, but outside tables with umbrellas are provided. Adequate parking is provided as well. Nice stop spot while passing through. Nice experience 👍

Very quaint country store located in Rotterdam Junction directly across from Kiwanis Park. Although it appeared not all ice cream choices were available but still advertised, ice cream was very good! I have had their breakfast sandwiches which are really good!

A great place to grab a breakfast sandwich or some ice cream. Location is perfect for people using the canal road. Definitely a variety of things for sale paintings, jams, coffee mugs.. I will definitely go back for a sandwich or ice cream when I am on the bike path.

We had their breakfast sandwiches and for the first time since I moved upstate from NYC 12 years ago, I can say I had a baconeggandcheese sandwich. Omg so good.

Three of us were biking the Erie Canal bike trail today on a 100 mile bike trek when one in our party got a flat. Stopped at the Hungry Chicken Country Store where both the owner and a customer were incredibly helpful. Trina was kind enough to run us into the closest bike shop and in very short order, we were on our way again. Thanks so much!

The Hungry Chicken Store is a great place to get local jams, honey, apples, and more. Local people make crafts and jewelry you can purchase. They also make a great breakfast sandwich. Their soft ice cream is great too!

Dawn was very friendly and informative. She took her time answering all of my questions about the different jams and preserves as well as the delicious sandwiches that they make. The Widow Maker is STACKED!

An ice cream shop with a 6ft CBD banner, well thats a first. My kids wanted to get ice cream after a bike ride but didnt want to explain the loser underworld of CBD and vaping to them at such a young age. Went to curry freeze instead, super gross.

I stopped in this place while on a motorcycle ride,with a date..We ordered two hot dogs and a snapple..$6.21...ok..I notice the hot dogs are going from a cooler right to a tiny little grill..I tell the girl..make sure you leave them on for awhile...ignorance is bliss...A minute and a half later she gives us the hot? DogsOne bite...my cold dog is ice cold in the middle..I tell the girl and ask her if she could put another one on...she tells me to just give her the hot dog back...I give it back to her and yup,you guessed it,she puts the cold dog,minus one bite,back on the grill,mustard and all.My dates cold dog was also cold,but,she was hungry and ate it anyway.I can understand not knowing how long a hot dog takes to cook,to get it to the proper temp..but,to take the very same food and put it back on the grill,to me anyway,shows an extreme lack of customer service..but,the 16 oz.snapple that cost $2.50 was pretty good..Anyone reading this is welcome to do whatever they like...Any place that doesnt even have the level of competence that it takes to successfully cook a hot dog,will never see another dollar bill out of my wallet.I didnt want to give any stars but a star is required to post..
