An outstanding shopping experience! I had traveled to seven different car dealerships to look for a car that would work for a long commute over the Catskill Mountains. I met with Matt Winans. Matt took the time to listen to me, listen to my needs and presented me several different options. He showed me two different cars that would serve my needs, talked through the options and then went on a test drive. Matt was able to quickly recall figures and information and give me the information I needed. He took the time to follow up with me and sent me a lot more additional information to help me make an informed choice. He even let me do an extended test drive for a day. Found a car online. Called and spoke with Dylan who instructed to fill out online app and send pics of trade in. I did so. Dylan said another staff would be assisting me.Two days; no contact. Contacted Dylan and staff person Chad contacted and requested the pics. A few more days: no word. Contact the store and inform manager of the issue of poor communication. He apologizes and Chad calls and asks me to bring the car in for appraisal.Make arrangements to do so. Get there. Chad is not in. Dylan comes out and passes me to Dan. Dan is polite, takes pics of trade, shows me the car. I inquire if it is the same car I inquired about because I didnt think it had a sun roof.Dan says lets do paperwork. I inform that I filled out online aprox. 2 weeks ago. He returns with a proposal for a different car. When I inform that it is not the car I wanted to buy, he begs off stating he just got my file.He goes to look into it and informs that tge car I wanted has a deposit on it and proceeds to try to push the other car on me!This was a total bait and switch situation.I have OUTSTANDING credit. I have never dealt with such a disorganized sales department and I walked away with the impression that there is also a serious lack of integrity and ethics at that location.Very dissatisfied.

When I stop at the dealership I only wanted to test drive a vehicle. After discussing what I wanted, Chris Barros found me the Atlas that was best for my family. The minute you close the door you feel secure in this SUV. Mr. Barros was friendly, patient, attentive and willing to work with me. I happy with his service and I am really happy with the new VW Atlas.

I bought a 2019 VW Tiguan from Fuccillo, not only did they tell me it had a heated steering wheel but they also told me they would detail the car. They had well over a week to detail my car and I still found chewed gum in the pockets on the seats, the front center console was disgusting and there were stickers on the outside of the car. They tried to send me on my way without a scissor jack and they did not have the piece to hold down my tire in the back. I had to argue that having a loose tire was a safety concern multiple times. I was told that they would order a broken part for my car and I have yet to hear about the part being in (over 3 weeks later) even though I have reached out many times about the part. As for the heated steering wheel, I was told that it had one and when I could not find the button after signing papers I was then told my model did not have the heated steering wheel option. For the amount of money I paid for my car they couldnt even send me off with a full tank. Beyond disappointed with the service

We came to Fuccillo Volkswagen because of some TV ads, and because our lease was up on our current vehicle.Our salesman, Dan Goodrich, as well as Grayson, worked very hard to find us the absolute best used vehicle that fit our budget. They were able to take our leased vehicle off of our hands, and we are very happy with our new (to us) vehicle. Dan and Grayson are straight shooters, and made sure that we had the best car, at the best value.The dealership is nice and clean, and they have great coffee.

They’re just ok. Drop off and pickup were easy and the wait time was reasonable. What I didn’t like was that I made the appt online and they called me the next day (day of appt) to say the only way they could accommodate my 330pm appt was for me to drop the car off at 2pm. Kind of defeats the purpose of reservations. After some back and forth they agreed to take the car at the time I made the reservation for, but I shouldn’t have to argue with them to get them to keep an appt I made on their website. They also didn’t wash the car yet list “free courtesy washes” as a perk. If I didn’t have my first 2 visits included, TBH I’d probably go elsewhere.

I had an issue with my car while I was in Schenectady for work, so I brought it to Fuccillo’s service center. The issue was under warranty, and the dealer made every accommodation to minimize the inconvenience to me. I was particularly impressed with the video inspection of my car, not only explaining and showing the failed parts to be replaced, but also general condition and maintenance. The work was not quite finished properly (which led to a minor secondary issue) and I had to have it corrected at my hometown dealership, but Fuccillo graciously covered the cost of the additional work. So it wasn’t all perfect, and mistakes happen, but otherwise they did everything right and I would definitely recommend.

We went into Fuccillo VW and knew exactly what car we wanted and exactly what we wanted to pay. Matt Winans put us in the car we wanted and right at our price point. The service was great. Went in on a Friday and picked the car up on Monday! We will be back for our next car!!

Required annual inspection, oil change and tire rotation for my 2018 Passat SE. No problem with acquiring the time and date I required. Arrived on time and the customer service representative was very attentive to the service required and went the extra step to inquire if I would be interested in having the software update for the emission module completed. She added it in as she indicated that the service department had the technician available to handle the update. I also received a birthday gift email while waiting, for a free car wash. She added that to the list of items to be completed. When it was time to pay my bill, service representative explained all the service items, the itemized items cost and no cost and directed me to the window to pay my bill. My car is now current on inspection, in great shape, oil changed, required emissions software updated, tires rotated and tire pressure checked and filled, vehicle washed and clean to include the glass and tires. I was like Say What? Rolled out like the day I purchased her. VW Schenectady has made my life easier and they stand by their products and customers

Make sure you have your lug lock key in the road side kit (located with jack ontop of donut) When buying any used car here! Just bought my car a little over a month ago and they have the audacity to charge me for a part that should have been included.. Its literally a necessity if I were to have a flat tire...

If I could give 0 stars I would. Bought a car with a 6 month 6,000 mile warranty and the engine blew up 2 1/2 months in. I spoke with both the GM and VP in regulates to this matter and both agreed that they would repair the car and make it right. I have drove the car for 6 months TOTAL in over 2 years because it was never repaired properly. After 4 rental cars, a used transmission and a used engine they TEXT ME to tell me they are no longer going to service my car.

Had a pleasant experience buying our first new car ever. Dan Goodrich was an excellent and very knowledgeable salesman. No hidden fees with these guys which was very nice to see on the paper work.

We were told we had to purchase an extended warranty for financing purposes or the rate would be 3% higher. After reviewing fine print at home the warranty paperwork itself states that the warranty does not and can not have any effect on financing with either approval or rate.They boldly lied to us. GM was standing next to the finance manager as he did so. The lying starts at the top here.After confronting them about the issue we were told we could cancel the warranty. We have now paid interest on a warranty for 8 weeks the loan still hasnt been credited with no offers of any kind from the dealership to do anything to remedy the situation.We bought a used E-Golf and requested multiple times for it to charged so it had a full charge and we would be able to make it home. Never charged it before we came in or while we were there. Had to charge it at a station on way home and wait just to get it home.If you like being lied too great place you buy a car.

This location had a white AWD SUV that I was looking for. It did need a new turbocharger, but now it runs way better than it did prior. I enjoy the brand and would never do Carvana lol Im old school, I enjoy going to the physical dealer and seeing it all in person before I buy it. Carvana is not for me. They gave me a beautiful Jetta as a loaner car while mine was being worked on. I like that I wasnt pressured at all into getting another lease, Leasing isnt my thing anymore. Im happy with the end result and how pricing came to be. Always shop in a tangible way, if you can. It just makes the experience more fun and it gives you something to do. Ordering online requires no effort and humans need to get out of the house and do things. Thank you for the nice car buying experience, I just might be back in 2022 for that all new Taos SUV!!! Lol VW is an awesome car brand.

Spent approx. 3 days with sales hoping that getting to know them would help sales process. I had found an used car (fair price, no reported accidents). I was ready to buy, checkbook in hand, and at last minute I decided to have car checked by another dealership mechanic. Mechanic reported car was obviously in an accident and it was too obvious for the dealership not to know. The mechanic could not verify that the prior accident (unreported/hidden but obvious to any person who knows vehicles) would not affect the car in the future. Sales wasted my time and money. I give one star because I can not submit without checking at least one star.

I feel like I could write a book about my experience here, but all in all two things stand out:1) 3 different people gave me 4 different answers as to how small of a loan I would be allowed to take out.2) When it came time to make my first payment, I still had not received the packet from VW credit I had been told I would receive. I emailed my sales person Chad about this 9 days in advance of my first payment due date, and he advised me to wait. Three days in advance of my payment date I began calling Fuccillo looking for some direction, and after calling several time over the next 3 days I was eventually advised to call VW credit. VW credit did not know anything about me, and had apparently never received my paperwork from Fuccillo. I called Fuccillo back again several times over the next few days looking to get to the bottom of this, and was eventually put on with a manager named Mike. Mike called me back shortly after out initial conversation saying my paperwork was missing several signatures. Fuccillo did send a runner to my home to collect the signatures. I have since been able to set up my payments with VW credit. While I have been told this fiasco with my first payment has not affected my credit, there is no way for me to verify that.I dont know why I had to call well over a dozen times to make a payment. Im frustrated that the initial paperwork was wrong to begin with. There was also a several month delay in getting my license plate, but I dont know how much of that is on Fuccillo and how much of that is the state.If nothing else, I do like my car.
