A very impressive meat market with a wide variety of proteins and sides. They seem to have everything with excellent service and competitive pricing. I had a delicious porterhouse steak, cut for BBQ.

Old fashioned place. Good prices. Could use some updates in regards to store and meats offered. Maybe add some stuffed custom burgers for example. Great staff and very very friendly. Thanks.

Had a craving for Split pea and Ham soup. Avon came through with the ham hocks! Great bunch of butchers and sooo pleasant. Highly recommend them!

The butchers are friendly and the meat is fresh. However, the selection of meats is limited as the variety isnt very vast.

Good meat market with a good variety of products. Best place to get a Hatfield semi-boneless smoked ham. They are the best. Ive been buying them there for 30+ years. They have some ethnic cuts of meat that are hard to find elsewhere. They dont have a good selection of prime beef or lunch meat. Friendly and helpful people.

Avon has a variety of meats. They are fresh 99.9% of the time. They offer good variety and take special orders. The workers are slow at times. They like to talk a lot. This is a good place to spend your money on quality meats.

This meat market is official, the meat selection is fresh. We also bought bacon the bacon is SO FRESH

The quality of food is very good. The staff is typically very friendly and courteous. However going in this morning 2 staff members were very rude to me. I left almost in tears. Maybe cause they were preparing store for opening. I probably wont be going back anytime soon. Its been to now great experiences....

My father shopped here when I was a child. Now Im 40 yrs old and live next door to it. I love it and always delicious meats and great veggies.... I highly recommend this shop !!!! Oh and dont worry about the area there are still great people who live around here...

The quality of their meat and other things have went down. I no longer shop there.

We bought lamb chops from this market and we got FAT more than meat. I’m very very disappointed and will not buy from here again. I paid $5 a pound for just fat. I wasted my money and I will let my family and friends know not to shop here.

Took great care of me.......good prices for strip steak and rib eyes. I need to spend 200 every time I go. My grandmother bought steak from Avon for 30 years.........I am going for 40..........try them.....you will too.

This Store/Butcher is absolutely amazing! We dealt with Rick (my recommendation) he was extremely knowledgeable and professional! It was our first time to the store and I promise it wont be my last! We had Rick cut us some Prime Strip Steaks....Prime Filets and I must say...Im done going out for a great steak...when we just had one of the best steaks in our lives. We also need to say that everything in this store is fairly priced and of the HIGHEST QUALITY!! One visit to Avon Meats and you will never go anywhere else!! Im not talking really good.... The area is not the best, the meat selection is outstanding and the prices are hard to beat. I find the quality to cost ratio to be the best of any butcher in the tri-city area with rare exception. That said, Sals has better chicken prices and some of Sals packages offer better deals depending on what you are looking for. This is still my first stop when preparing a BBQ or stocking my freezer. Often watching sale prices allows me to get quality meat cut to my specs for excellent value.

Second time I bought FROZEN CUT OKRA FROM THIS PLACE AND IT WAS NO GOOD THE OKRA IS LIKE WOOD HAD TO THROW OUT THE POT OF SOUP. NEVER WILL I BUY THAT AGAIN
