Schenectady Union st location… Guy working the register tried to rip me off. He always looks at what I have to buy then incoherently mumbles 24.24 or something and a couple times I just paid, this time I called him out I had a six pack of 16oz Utica club and a single 16oz northway brewing beer and he tried to get me again. I made him tell me the price for each item and amazingly the price was cut in half! $12 instead of $24. I paid and left and he tried apologizing a bunch. It’s really too bad I prefer to buy local and I like their selection but would expect to be treated better. Not surprised many reviews cite high prices. I’ll just go to Stewart’s.

When I came 1st time in USA I start to work in this beer store it was my first experience around I worked there around 14/15 months nice customer and good owner some of customers still they call me and we chat each other as well… but unfortunately I lost owner cell phone number it is ridiculous,,,,

I enjoy going to this place. I love there selection of brews and cigars and there tobacco is at a very decent price. The only thing that bugs me is the fact that much of the stock (sodas and beer mainly) are expired and dust covered. I bought a 2 liter of soda which I had to return due to not having an expiration date listed on the bottle and it was previously opened and very flat. The first sip wasnt to great. I will return for rolling tobacco but wont be buying much of anything else.

It was Lager day. They had Spaten, cold, for reasonable price.

Although I live quite near here, I avoid it whenever I can. For a small shop, the beer selection is decent, but the prices are quite high and not all of it has the most recent freshness dates. This is very much an all-expenses-spared place that has you shifting your wallet to the front pocket before you even get to the door. I get the feeling most of this shops main business is tobacco, pot, and malt liquor, with the decent beer forced to make up for in price what it lacks in sales volume.

Decent selection of beers and cigars. They usually have something new to try weekly. Store is very unorganized and also slightly expensive considering its location.

My husband went to get beer and they gave my husband back his change and my husband noticed he didnt get the correct change back and after arguing with the guy he convinced him that he gave him the correct change we left and my husband realized that he was missing $20, which they took from him. The fact that they argued with him is ridiculous. Look back at your cameras and count your drawer and see that my husband was right. Terrible customer service. They lost our business and we go there a lot!

Nov.6th. I was a customer and assaulted by and employee these people are no good 5 staples in back my head and to think I went for the cheep tabbaco .. What comes around goes around I give you no review starts you non paying tax pos
