For a place that sells more wigs and hair products there is noone in that department to help customers and give suggestions. Someone had been smoking in the location of the wig it was so that I started to leave. They stopped me. I brought two wigs.

I just recently moved from PA and was searching for a beauty supply store.. Thank God i found Jaeda!! They have sooo much variety and the ladies were super nice. It is a little crowded on one side but you cant complain because of all of the selection!! Prices are good and their selection of human hair wigs was outstanding!! The wig I purchased was just put up on display and was the ONLY one they had. I found my NY beauty supply store today.

The services that provide are wonderful

They are letting people in with no mask on. Places like this need to provide mask cutomers who frequently dont go out of their way to have a mask but they want to be around everyone without it

I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. I went in was asked right away if I needed help. Alex was amazing so absolutely amazing took her time I tried on quite a few wigs she took her time explaining how to properly wear them and what I needed to make them look good to stay on properly I cannot sing her Praises enough seriously five stars is not enough

I called this place for prices for braiding hair, the girl told me she cant give prices over the phone, quote idk thats what my boss told me, not driving an hour if I dont know what Im gonna be spending !!

Love this store. Sometimes the employees can be rude. Thank god I have great patience and morals to ignore that and just smile anyway. Other than that the owner is a sweet person and thats why I shop there.

Great selection for people with African & Hispanic hair types. For men and women alike. Staff was able to answer all my questions. Easy to access Schenectady location with parking in safe, well-lit area. I was impressed.

I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service. The woman who work there, Alex, was extremely helpful. She was able to answer any question I had. She took her time with me, and smiled while doing so. I will surely be back there sooner than later.

EDIT REVIEW: I decided to come and give Jaedas beauty supply another chance because the wig selection they have is amazing. I am so glad I did. Jasmine at the counter was unbelievably helpful and gave me so many pointers on wearing wigs. She hooked me up with some great products and I ended up walking out with four beautiful wigs and have two more that I want to come back for!! Thank you Jasmine for your help and wonderful customer service!I drove over an hour to come specifically to this store and I was very disappointed in my experience there. I wasnt treated like the other women there and I was not given good customer service at all. I was ignored by staff and specifically the gentlemen that worked there acted as if I was a bother and only spoke with the other women there. I am very new to purchasing wigs as I have a medical condition that made me lose all of my hair. Finally after the other women were helped and left and the store was getting closer to closing time the owner came and helped me, she is very knowledgeable. She was helpful but her initial response to me wasnt very warm. I purchased two beautiful wigs, the store does have a wonderful selection compared to the stores in Albany but due to how uncomfortable and awkward every interaction was for me and my sister I am unsure if I will return or put my girlfriends who are going through this same medical condition through an experience like that. I may try again but again I am very hesitant.Just a tip for the workers there that may not even think of these things working in the wig industry, some women that are coming into buy wigs this could a very NEW, scary, painful, and intimidating experience battle, illness, or disease as to why they are coming into purchase a wig. Working in the customer service everyone color, sex, or whatever you identify with should be treated equally and given the same respect as the next.

Horrible customer service. There were three employees talking, I asked the price of an item that did not have a price tag on it and they were so rude in how they answered me. I will never shop at that ghetto low class place again . And I will tell everyone I know to stay clear of there as well.

Awesome customer service and I bought a remy wig a couple months ago went back and I bought some weaving remy hair and a lovely sales person added hair to the tracks for me. Also told me the products to buy and it looks like new again.

There is one woman in this store who I ABSOLUTELY lover. Shes sweet, kind and goes out of her way to help you. The rest of the employees on the other hand?? They act as though theyre out on the block chillin w/their girls, loud and rude to where they give you attitude if you( a customer ) interrupts them to ask a question. I was just in there on Saturday and 2 workers stood talking to each other for over 10 minutes while I waited for someone to stop long enough for me to jump in and ask for help. On top of that....its hard to tell who works there and who doesnt. I mainly shop at the BSW in Albany, the hair quality is a lot better and customer service is on point. This place I only frequent if I cant get to Albany..... if it werent for that one woman( i think her name is Alex)and convenience, i would never shop here. Oh yeah, as I mentioned briefly earlier.... the hair quality is terrible compared to other places Ive shopped and they have the nerve to want 60--100 plus dollars for that mess! I could get a 20 - 40 Dollar wig at BSW with better quality!!
