Absolutely the best service in the capital region! After calling every location in town, I had a last minute emergency on a SUNDAY and the store manager Jeremy was able to provide service without any hassle. Jeremy and his assistant Jaquan were extremely professional in their work and were able to get me up and out in less than 30 minutes with everything perfect. I was in the other day it was busy the manager was short staffed and the only one there that day his name was jay or jeremy I think he was amazing there were a lot of cars in the shop people coming in the phone was ringing like crazy but he was great talking to his customers listening to them taking his time with each of us getting cars in getting things done all with a smile and good demeanor he took the time to ask questions get personal and just making you feel comfortable great customer service and very great work very fast his guys were laughing in good spirits getting things done one min he was talking to someone about there car next he’s on the phone then he’s pulling cars in and taking wheels off and explaining everything very carefully very knowledgeable you have a customer that will continue to come in because of him and his guys

The experience was decent, but then they locked the keys in my car when I asked them to leave it open. Here’s to hoping they’ll pay for a locksmith, as I don’t have a spare. Not thrilled.

I showed up 30 mins before closing with a shredded tire. Malik and Trish were genuinely happy to help me. Not only did they have a tire to replace the one that I shredded on the Thruway but they also worked fast to get me back on the road in 30 mins. Amazing. But most of all they were just kind people. Kind and helpful is always worth more than 5 stars.

Changed to 3.5 stars since management reached out. I appreciate that fact.Second time I tried this location. I went here once to get my tires installed. They wanted 40% more than the other Mavis location (1598 state street). The young woman didnt seem to realize or care that my car didnt have TPMS and was charging me for things I didnt need (didnt have on my car actually). I went to 1598 state street and they were great and charged me much less.I needed an inspection. 1598 doesnt do inspections :

I dropped my car off at mavis to have my brakes done the manager there jeremy called me and informed me exactly of what was going and worked with me on the the cost and explained very clearly and professionally that he will get it done that it would take a bit because he was the only person in the shop when I called back around 5 he said he was done and to come down when I got there he had multiple cars he was working on answering the phone and talking and cashing out other customers constantly apologizing for the long turn over some people were angry but it didn’t seem to phase him at all he stayed composed and explained himself then I watched as a older woman with a flat came in and a pregnant woman right behind her both had flat tires he said it wasn’t a problem and did their cars and sent them on their way then went right back to working on the other cars he was by himself no help no other people in the shop and he was chipper and took the time to answer questions on the phone and in person to whoever had them I was amazed and when I asked him where everyone was he just smiled and shrugged his shoulders and said doesn’t matter this stuff needs to get done and I’m doing it one car at a time I’m already staying late so when I’m done I’m done I was amazed by his attitude and cheerful attitude despite being alone great job I will be returning because of what I saw

The Mavis by mohawk commons was the shop I used to stay away from the old manager there I think corey or somthing always seemed shady and always seemed like he was making side deals with his friends I went there out of desperation and the new managers there Nadina and Jeremy were amazing very helpful and honest and patient explained everything that was wrong with my car told me what I needed now and worked with me so I wasn’t broke I will be back to get the car finished thanks to those two

The lady extremely rude, lied and super sketchy towards me because she knows they did something wrong. Instead of fix a hole that leakin in my tire he digging a different hole that close next to it to destroy my tire so they could rob my pocket and Instead of apologize to me for something they did wrong!! She accused me said im digging a hole myself after i got my car and says im on drug. That’s unbelievable!!! What a terrible service.

Great service, had me in and out

Brought my car at Mavis to get the tires changed and when I went to pick it up 3 out of the 4 wheels were scratched and chipped. Had an unpleasant experience trying to resolve this, they denied it was their fault but luckily I had pictures of the car before I took it there, and ultimately after a few days on the phone they had to get my wheels refinished which they were not happy to do. Would NOT RECOMMEND anyone doing business here. I do not usually write reviews but I had to share my horrible experience here.

Brought my car here for an inspection. Dropped it off at 10:30 AM, informed the staff that I would be out all day but to call when it was finished. I received a call around 3:00 PM. This location is hands down thee location to go to. The employess are great and good people. If theres an issue, they do a great job of explaining the issue and what needs to be done. If u have a a spendin limit, they try hard to get u in that area. I hv never had good service at a shop, which is why I try to do my own work. Aaron is THE BEST. I mean, Im sure the other guys are great as well but Aaron has gone above and beyond on two separate occasions to help me (and keep me from a breakdown). As a female bringing a car to a shop its a huge comfort to know that there are people on your side not just looking to make a quick buck off of you. If the first experience wasnt enough (which for the record, it was) the second experience made a loyal customer. Ive already recommended this location to friends looking for new tires heading in to winter and will continue to name drop this location whenever I can.

DONT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY MAVIS !!! Now before I Brought my car to mavis my car never shimmed and never shook but when I picked the car up after having 4 tires put on it it started shaking around 30mph and shakes around 60 to 65 and starts again around 72mph and again at around 76mph. Right before I put tires on the car I drove to MO,TN, GA, FL and back to NY and ran the car at 75mph to 110mph all the way. To this day Ive gotten NO satisfaction on this matter !!!! TRIBBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES !!!!!

I have been going to different Mavis Discount Tire locations all over New York since I have been driving, but this experience was just embarrassing. I was the first person to drop off my car in the morning right when they opened. I wanted Mavis to swap my all season tires out for my winter tires (in bags in my back seat). They said that there were a couple of appointments before me then they would take my car. They said the same message to the six people who came in behind me. When I called at 3:00 PM, I asked if my car was finished since it had been at least six hours and they still did not call me. They put me on hold for about five minutes and then said that it was now going into the bay. Then, still no call. So I arrived 15 minutes before closing hoping that my car was done and it was. I paid and didnt bother asking why they didnt call me to tell me it was ready to be picked up. Then, when I walked out to my car, I was surprised to find a flat tire. In disbelief, I went back inside and told the gentleman behind the counter that my tire was flat, and he then asked how flat. There was no air in the tire, zero. So, I waited in the lobby until 20 minutes after closing for them to bring my car back in the bay, take the tire off and replace the tire pressure sensor. Luckily, that was the only problem. But, when technician brought out the car and explained the issue, he started by saying that they didnt get their spare parts shipped in a while. He told me he replaced one of the sensors with a reserve supply of parts he kept while the car was being worked on the first time. But, the second sensor he didnt know was broken which seemed odd to me. How can you know to fix one but not the other? Wouldnt they both be broken in a similar fashion? I just feel like when I was being provided an explanation, I was just being told things to get me to shut up. At the end of the day, I got the service I needed but not to the quality or efficiency that I would have liked or experienced by previous Maviss.

My flat had low tire pressure light on. Although we didnt have Mavis tires...the service person filled each tire...she was done in five minutes. Next set of four will be at Mavis
