Large Barnes and Nobel with a wide variety of books organized across the store. Pretty easy to find what you need. There is even a few benches outside to read you newly purchased book and drink your coffee. Very impressed with this location over all.

Very accommodating and helpful sales representatives. Great location, at the heart of the town, close to the shopping and dining establishments. A good amount of books and they are quick to help you with online orders.

New store, but it was well laid out with everything easy to find. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Added plus is store is close to my home and accessible by shuttle bus.

This location was about a mile away in a standalone building on Golf Road, and they recently moved into this strip. I was so excited, and this new location does not disappoint. Great bookstore and the staff are very friendly.

After they move to new location I visited for the first time.Book sections are organized alongside wall and easy to find intrerested one.Seems more modern with themes.

Great book and café shop

Decided to stop here as opposed to buying online. I figured the actual store would be more helpful. Was I ever wrong. After asking two different employees for help, I was referred to the checkout area where there were long lines. I was able to find a book and proceeded to the registers. After waiting in a line for over 5 minutes, the line was suddenly closed without the acknowledgement of me being in line. Save yourself the frustration. Go somewhere else.

Clean and organized, but this is not the same Barnes and Noble I grew up with. The selection is probably 50% of what it used to be. I didnt find the organization to be very helpful and only had best sellers on the shelves. Half of the location was board games and toys... What happened to selling books?

Well this BN, their new store is smaller, not a variety selection of books, very unfriendly associates. Its very cold and unwelcoming. Here again will be the demise of the friendly neighborhood bookstore. The cashier (Robert S)was awful, not friendly, grumpy rude. I was a member, not any more. Taking my business to either Half Price Books, Amazon or the library. Sorry that this once great company is or has lost its appeal.

Its bright and spacious, but the magazine section is horrible. The selection is clearly lacking, and what magazines they do have are so tightly packed that you cant see all the covers. MAYBE the magazine you want is there, but you have to look behind all the other magazines. If you find the magazine you want or on a topic you want, it may or may not be the current issue. Expand your magazine selection. Yesterday I went to the Barns & Noble at Spring Hill Mall in Dundee, and happily browsed that magazine selection. Schaumburg Barnes & Noble, to sell more magazines, you have to have more and current magazines! Dont make me drive to a store farther away to spend my money.

If the brick and mortar experience is one of your favorites this wonderful bookstore is a must do. Huge selection of interesting topics, the childrens section is incredible. Cant find a title? Staff is ready to assist. In store coffee bar with tables. Store offers gift items for all ages and price ranges. Restrooms, handicap parking and access, large parking lot, some library chairs scattered throughout the store to rest or peruse a possible selection before purchasing. Staff great in all areas, check out quick and accurate.

The folks who work at Barnes & Noble are always very helpful. Even if they dont have what do you need in stock, they will do everything they can to find it for you. And they have so many things in stock, its seldom that you leave without getting what you came for.

Lovely athmosphere here, I love the beautiful selection of literature here and have always felt welcomed. Whenever I need to find a book, there are always employees around to help me search for a title. This past week I was helped by a young man who I believe was named Zack who found the title I was searching for and even answered my questions about the book. The checkout process is very quick and the cashier bagged everything quickly. I know that during the weekend it can get quite hectic here so I suggest coming in early on those days.

Was waiting at the counter a bit to receive service finding a book I wanted, but once I was helped, the associate was very genial and went out of her way to help me find the book that happened to be buried away in a clearance section somewhere non-obvious. Very pleased overall. I frequently come here to browse books as well.

Even on a busy holiday weekend, the store was clean, neat and organized. Checkout was fast and friendly. Clean restrooms. A comfortable place to shop.

Horrible experience for a new location. Employees nowhere to be found. Asked a person I thought was an employee a question, she told me she wasnt on the clock yet and to go to the register. Cashier couldnt answer my question, called someone to come and help, along comes the employee I spoke to on salesfloor, guess she clocked in. When I re-asked my question I was told the store just opened, we just put the books on the shelf, we dont have time to organize them, you just have to look. And she walked away, and I walked out the door.

They run sales very frequently and there one of the few stores that carries fantasy flight games in the area. The selection is always good and the staff is very friendly. Very clean store throughout.

A friend told me that Barns and Noble does not sell books any more, only toys left there. This one is not the case. Toys are good but still a lot of books! And a lot of people still buying books.

Always a great place to shop. The clerks are extremely helpful with finding just the right book or other gifts. No stop would be complete without a trip to the Barnes and Noble Cafe for a latte and treat.

Barnes and Noble in Schaumburg has a vast selection of books, childrens Arts & Crafts sets, gifts for adults as well as children. The staff are friendly and helpful. They will order books for you, if necessary. They also have sections with books to help you plan a trip or to read up about a possible destination. The magazine section is extensive. I buy calendars for myself and as gifts for friends and family. There is a nice area where you can purchase a beverage and sit a while. The bookstore is clean and organized. I highly recommend shopping there.

Always the fun place to be if you are looking for books and like. They have good variety and priced appropriately. You dont need the membership but if you have one, thats an added advantage.

Book selection was above par. The store had a number of bargains, a lot of variety and books that were newly released as well as great standards. Coffee shop was well stocked and a wonderful place to sit and read.

This did NOT feel like a bookstore, it felt like a museum. I am disappointed by the inventory, it is significantly less than before. Also, the way the shelves are arranged is very disorganized and confusing. I really hope Barnes and Noble aren’t making all their stores like this, not a fan!!

Easily found all the books in my shopping list. Sampled a salted caramel toffee cookie from the Cafe. Found it so delightful that I absolutely had to take advantage of the buy one get one free coupon to round out my visit.

Anything imaginable. They even have toys! Everyone is so helpful.

I am books lover and no where better to go to see, touch and smell the fresh new papers of a book than a bookstore. Barnes and noble stands out to me and is my favorite. I shop online but going into a bookstore always gives that unique experience shopping for books or just having a general idea about the new ones. Schaumburgs barnes and noble is my favorite branch. I find everything easily and staff always helpful. I keep up with all in stores events and I take the kids for the storytime and they love it.

Barnes and Noble is one of my favorite chains, this one in Schaumburg is everything you would expect from them.

I prefer the Bloomingdale location just because of personal preference, but this one is not flawed by any means. Great place!

This may well be my 2nd home-from-home (the first being the Schaumburg library)...why you ask? My reply I shant deny! With Spring fever in full bloom and the book worm in me waiting anxiously for that juicy, delectable and enlightening read...I am in my element as soon as I part those weighted doors!!! I spend at least 3 hours upon EACH visit and when I exit I am always excited at my new endeavor to part those precious pages filled with saged WISDOM...the walk home, setting sun behind me and shadows falling in front of my every step.
