Stopped into the showroom looking for a Lazy Boy. There was a large selection. One of the team members came over to assist and answer any questions. Picked out a chair. They had all the options for that style I wanted in inventory. Purchased the chair and loaded it into my SUV within 45 minutes from the time I entered the store. We were looking for twin recliners and were not sure what we wanted. Over the course of a week we kept borrowing samples and changing our mind about chair style snd color. I went in to buy a new recliner for myself. I bought my previous recliner at the same store (previous location) and was very happy with it. But, that was almost 30 years ago and it needed to be replaced. I met the salesman, Jon, who explained where things were. He then let me browse and try chairs without shadowing me or being pushy. I found one I was interested in and then he came over and answered my questions. I then left, and again, no pressure or anything. I wanted to make sure my wife was okay with color. I went back two days later and bought the chair. I was VERY happy with the experience. I am now sitting in my new Lazy Boy in my living room as I write this review. 😊

Found the perfect recliner for my 90 year old dad! They were very accommodating and packed the chair up very quickly so it could be delivered in Northern Maine that day. Very nice store and sales people!

Ordered furniture over the phone, which required several calls due to need to speak with the wife for decisions. Treated very well by the entire staff. They were polite and efficient and if I had all my stuff together would have done whole transaction in 10 minutes. Very positive experience

Treated very professional and they were helpful. After delivery this morning the person didnt like my choice (I had gone over there by myself because of her physical condition shes confined at home and she wanted a smaller couch. I had gotten a two-seater which leaves no room between us. Not a good situation for SAM (MY 17 year old flamepoint cat). So back I got and got the welcomed request to upgrade to a 3 seater electric recliner with a smile and understanding. Cant deliver it until Monday so I coveted up the one they brought this morning, got help from a gentleman across the street to move the one back into the home. A great experience but I expected nothing else as we have have dealings with this particular establishment before and have been treated the same way.

Very friendly and respectful staff. I need to say I do not do well shopping when customer service reps are following me around, it just stresses me out. They offered help but gave us space and were readily available when we needed assistance. Great service, like lazy boy quality.

Husband and I were searching for a love seat. Weve always found Lazyboy to have high quality furniture. I cant remember the salesmans name, but he was very thorough Pointing out attributes of each piece of furniture.We ordered a new living room set of a couch( which reclines), reclining loveseat, and a free standing incliner for me. Im short and find most furniture isnt made for me.

Marissa, my sales rep was attentive, courteous, sweet, kind and she placed my order correctly with the fabric choice I really wanted! All good there. Only 4 stars for now because even though I ordered my sleep chair 3/15/21, the lead time for construction wont get the chair to me until at least November. Ouch. I will be better able to review after the chair arrives in stellar condition. I do recommend monitoring your emails and voicemails more rigorously; it took over a week to get any responses, and that was after I reached back out and placed my order.

Good experience. Had specific needs to find a recliner for my son, who just had abdominal surgery and needs a comfortable place to rest/sleep. The salesperson was prompt and knowledgeable, and showed me the appropriate models based on my criteria, which included needing the chair that day. The checkout process was excellent, as was the pickup and assembly of the chair from its two parts.

I love that the sales agents didn’t jump right on you as you walked through the door. Showroom was well laid out and very clean including covid era accommodations. Our sales agent Jay was pleasant, knowledgeable, and our experience was enjoyable. We look forward to our new furniture and would definitely seek out Jay if we need more furniture in the future.

I had some trepidation and second thoughts, but once the chair arrived, all worries vanished. The chair fits perfectly in the room, it’s very comfortable, and the ability to lift makes standing up easy to do. My knees are quite happy, and the rest of me is happy too.

The minute I walked in the door, a very nice gentleman asked if he could help me! Well he certainly did! Theres more to the La-Z-Boy store than recliners! We had looked in many furniture stores for two sofa end tables with a certain size, look, and finish with drawer space and we found them there. The showroom is attractive with many furniture options other than recliners and the staff friendly and helpful. When we said wed take them ourselves instead of having them delivered, they were thoughtfully wrapped in foam and boxed!

We went in with a mask on and checked all the chairs and we asked if we need help. We said yes and had to wait a little but we got a chair we like and one the color. We are enjoying the chair.

Went to this store today to buy a recliner. They had 2 that I liked but the lady said they werent for sale, they were just for display! If I wanted one I would have to wait until the end of May or November when they are due to be received! I asked about the 2 on display and she didnt seem to care one way or the other. I have always bought Lazyboy recliners, 4 from this store, but no more!

It was a quick and easy sale for the salesman. I was already sitting in the chair that I ended up with. After I described what I wanted, we both decided that was the right chair for me! I was out of there within ten minutes. He explained the cleaning kit, was quick with the paperwork. I drove out back and my chair was loaded into my car!!

Friendly and helpful staff. My roommate and I each bought a chair. They were floor models and we received no kind of discount. I have never heard of such a thing. Nice chairs, over $3300, but regardless floor models. I am a little concerned about how many people sat in this. A discount would have been nice and appreciated. This is why only 4 stars.

Excellent service. We serendipitously stepped into the store thinking we would have to wait 10-12 weeks to order a new recliner. We were so pleased to find one in the store that we could purchase and immediately bring home!We were thrilled. While there I took notice of the other pieces and lovely decor items. My wife and I purchased a leather sofa and a separate chair during a recent visit to La-Z-Boy. Our sales associate, Marissa Morrison was very helpful and professional. She was a terrific help throughout. Delivery of our purchases was scheduled for the following day. The delivery associates were right on time, used care in moving our purchases into the house, and were very friendly. Our whole experience with La-Z-Boy was stellar.

Polly helped me tremendously with picking put a recliner for my 91 yr old father, explaining about size and options. They were able to deliver the chair with only 4 days notice. I will be back, this time with my father, for him to pick another recliner. We need one in his bedroom and one in the livingroom. I will go there now for my other furniture needs because the service was exceptional.

We have bought four recliners since we moved to Maine and would not think of going anywhere else. Our original Lazyboy recliners we bought in Massachusetts over 20 years ago and though they still function mechanically they are looking tired. In 2013 We replaced those with two new matching recliners from you store and have loved them ever since. We especially appreciate the wonderful customer service, that time seeing the need to elevate one chair for my wife. That made a big difference in her life. That same service is what you give us each time we come. Yesterday we were treated as if we were the only customer in the store, we were, but that would not have mattered as we have always been treated well. We found what we wanted, talked it over with one of your great staff and were on our way in less than 45 minutes with our new chair in the car. Ordered a loveseat and recliner back in early Sept 2019, stopped in yesterday and requested update. Bob researched and called factory for status, found loveseat hadn’t been built yet due to Covid issues in factory and fabric delay. Bob went above and beyond to see if I would accept the floor display on both and made arrangements for delivery this morning. So very pleased with the local store in Scarborough and love the lazy boy furniture.

Couldnt find exactly what I was looking for but she happened to go out in the warehouse and located a chair that had already been sold but no longer a floor display. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for. She explained the fabric (leather) details to assist us in making the right choice. Karen was also honest about how long it would be before the chairs would be delivered. She indicated it was usually 10 to 12 weeks but with Covid-19 changes, it could be a few weeks longer.We appreciate the way Karen treated us and her ability to answer questions about the recliners we looked at. Today we had the best experience ever at La-Z-Boy Furnishings, Scarborough. They were the first of the half dozen furniture stores in the mile radius to open. Others were 11am! Hello!! We arrived early and snooped around awhile. A lovely sales rep. Marissa approached only to let us know who she was, and If we needed assistance, she was there!! Wow! No pressure, no questions except what we asked! Well, we found a perfect reclining loveseat! Something I can sleep on while recovering from major shoulder surgery!! Something that can be operated with right arm use! Marissa was so knowledgeable with all aspects of the furniture. We are sold!! Its a beauty. Greatest deal with reduction sale, the some! Thank you!! We will be back to match the sofa piece!! It is in out living room now! Only hrs after buying it! We brought it home ourselves, but they could have gotten it home quick too! Thanks again Marissa!

The delivery guys who delivered my furniture were as professional and helpful as any Ive ever experienced. And the fact that they were handsome didnt hurt!

I ordered a recliner from here on July 3, 2020, and was told 8-10 weeks for it to arrive. It had been 10 weeks and still no chair. I called and was told there were delays due to COVID 19. I said I understood but would call back in a couple weeks. I called again yesterday, Sept 26, (12 weeks now) and was told it was not on the manifest for Monday’s truck and this means it could be another 3-4 weeks! I was told again it was due to COVID. I ordered furniture from 2 other stores in July and did not experience any delays. I asked to be given free delivery when it does arrive and the woman I spoke to did that for me. If the chair does not arrive in 3 weeks I am going to cancel it and request a refund. This is unacceptable.

The sales staff was helpful without being pushy. We ended up purchasing a new chair for my wife and she loves it!

There was pressure to buy and they went out of there way to answer questions and to tell the availability of the piece of furniture. We bought on Saturday the 6th and it will be delivered on this Monday the 8th.

The sales representative was very thorough in showing us all the combinations of recliners: gliders, rockers, swivel, crank, power, lifts so we could customize our choice. We found a comfortable one and selected our leather color and placed our order for a customized recliner.
