Huge Walmart with pretty much everything you could need. Quite clean. Sometimes a little hard to find employees but not a big deal.

DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CENTER.No longer open 24 hours.Store and Bathrooms are usually fairly clean. Many restaurants nearby and easily accessible. Very large lot with a ton of space for Truckers, travelers and vacationers in larger Rigs, campers and RVs. They even have a ton of necessities for RVs and campers. If youre on vacation or travelling through the area, this Walmart is perfect.Having said that;This store was experiencing half empty shelves LONG before any shortages.Customer service could improve. A LOT.Older staff can be Extremely rude.

Big location. Very clean and organized. I visited this location on a Wed night,wasnt to busy but only two registers so the lines where long.

Of course Walmart is Walmart I gave him five stars because of the cleanliness of the place Im always impressed by how clean Walmart is I mean sometimes the place is get dirty and you see stuff in the wrong place and so on and so forth but you know since Walmart has been built and they all started coming up and springing up around customer service has dropped but I mean interactions with the people its less people working there to get to help to find you if you dont know where youre going to get what theres no one to ask and I did run upon someone who worked there and didnt know where anything was but just her station so I mean I enjoy Walmart it was cheaper the cheapest place to go anywhere but I think thats changed now since the prices of everything has gone so high go to Walmart get what you need and get out

Great variety of products as always Walmart has and this store is nothing diffrent than other one. I always have good experience here. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Clean washroom. Plenty of parking spaces outside and direction to get there is very easy.

Walmart is just convenient you get everything I need in one store I love that!!

They always have everything I need despite other locations being wiped out by the pandemic.

It’s a normal Walmart. Clean. Well set up. The staff was friendly. Just wish they had more hot food available at 8am. Nothing was prepared yet.

Typical Walmart. Neat, friendly, good location. We were on vacation, so we have never burned in this one before.

Very disappointed in customer service. My family and I stopped here in a very aggressive rain storm about 25 minutes ago. I dropped them off at the door and waited in the parking lot. When my teens came back to the car, they told me how they were harassed by an employee who claimed he was security. My children had their own money and made three separate transactions, so they had three separate receipts. They told me how when they tried to leave, the man pulled them aside, identified himself as security and told them to show him their receipts. One of my sons and my daughter, had their receipts and showed them to the man, however my other son threw his away. my son offered to walk over to the trash can to show the man his receipts, but the man refused. Then the man accused her of stealing and claimed that an “associate” informed him that they saw my kids putting things into their bag. Then he proceeded to force my daughter to empty her bag, even though she’d shown him her receipt. After my daughter emptied her bag and proved that she hadn’t stolen anything, the man said this: “I know you have something else i’m there so if you do i need to see it now.” I don’t know what he was referencing, but the fact he was so assume that that my children stole sometimes baffles me. Then the man became ruder and accused my kids of bothering employees and said “whatever you did don’t do it again.” This was a direct quote from my son, and then the man left. I’m sure this man was just doing his job, and following up on a claim of stealing- however what’s unacceptable to me is that he was rude the entire time and refused to apologize even after he was proven wrong. And even worse, he claimed my children were bothering staff because he was proven wrong. this is terrible customer service and I never went to go back here because of it. The man was short, (about 5’4 or shorter,) and he was wearing shorts and a sweatshirt with the yellow employee vest and a badge. (we’re not sure, but we believe his name is nick.) He also had a black “gator” neck mask. I doubt any store officials will see this, but i hope this man faces repercussions for how he acted. please learn to be nicer to your customers, despite their ages.

Limited to no stock makes it difficult to shop. At least their bathrooms are clean and if you can get an associate to help its a decent location. 1 cashier was also ridiculous, but Im pretty sure thats what most stores have become.

I usually try to avoid shopping at Walmart...had no choice. The folks were friendly, they had what I needed at a good price. The sales people wore masks even though no mandated in Maine now...I wore a mask too, being a medical person, and no one confronted me...I was favorably impressed...

Would have been 5 star but the gentleman that had the responsibility of the self check out was less than helpful and less than pleasant. That person should not have that position in my opinion. 8/16 at 2:50 ish.

Good had most of what I needed except the Easter is not all in yet. Had this awesome topiary. Cheap prices on some things, some overpriced. Good place to shop for families.

Usually has good bargains. The shelves were quite sparse. Not full pandemic sparse, but noticeably so.

O.K., just about everything once you learn the layout. Use the self service checkouts. Its quicker than using cashiers. Sometimes very few are open.

The largest super center that I have ever seen.

Love the ability to find what I need and the low or decent prices. Absolutely HATE 2 checkout isles with cashiers and the rest is self checkout. I also hate that bags are not available (even if I have to pay for them).

Was nice but out of inflatable toys need em year round and mackerel trees be better

Its Walmart... they have good cheese blocks, and plenty of sausage in whatever size you need. And plenty of dog toys to go with the fun after work. Plenty of not noisy kids who are not destroying their vocal chords as well. Will come again.

Good sized Walmart super center with decent selection and maybe better than most of the other locations in the area.

The entire staff is absolutely useless. Literally nothing more to say than they dont have the combined brain function of a gnat.Dont waste your time.

Dont even want to give a star to Walmart this the 2nd store today that has done this. been on the phone the last half hour the phone gets picked then immediately get transferred then get picked up and transferred again and again I can hear the associate on the other end this is ridiculous im flying in to Portland for and event was hoping you guys had enough ties in stock.

Lack of employees isnt something we can control but thru out these last 2yrs Ive found this super walmart has alot more on shelves then others. Check outs commonly available and the employees they have has always been polity n friendly.

I dont recommend going to Scarborough Walmart for paint. We had an awful experience today in regards to the staff. We went here trying to get two colors for our living room. We picked out the paint, which number one, the guy helping us tried to tell us that the semi-gloss would be a more matte finish than the satin which is the exact opposite. In addition, once we mixed the first paint it was completely the wrong color and it turns out the machine was out of white, which made the color completely wrong. This was not our problem, as we understand things happen. After figuring this out the guy helping us called for help to fill the machine back with white as he didnt exactly know how to do it. Once calling for help and having another worker come by, I noticed him slipping the guy an out of order sign telling the other worker in a lower voice to basically put it up and call it good rather than taking the time to fill the machine with white paint so that our color could be correct. I understand many places are short-staffed nowadays, but a simple sorry we really dont have the time or people to assist you would have been much better than trying to hide the fact that they didnt want to do it so putting this sign would have to turn us away. We went to Home Depot instead where we were color matched for the colors we chose, better service.

Ok we found some stuff we needed. Two cashiers and the rest was self help... I feel like they need to hire more cashiers. Doesnt feel right to always have to be the cashier. Im not even trained for this position and I have to do it for free...smarten up walmart!

I wouldn’t go here for shopping. Target is relight around the corner. There’s a big Middle Eastern dude that works at the cashier/ self check out who completely profiled me as I was buying cat food. I noticed him walking and then standing behind me from a distance, watching me buy the cat food. I respectfully stepped to the side to let him see that I was properly scanning each cat food, but he just kept eye balling me, so I proceeded to fully turn around and stare at him, which he then proceeded to turn his entire body in a complete different direction, trying not to look at me as I stood there looking at him. I did not catch his name but if I ever find myself at that Walmart again, I’ll make sure to get his name.

Can find most anything I could want here and the price is good.

Its walmart, set expectations low and you wont be disappointed I guess.

Absolutely the worst Walmart around...I will never shop there again..I will travel to Windham..Falmouth or Biddeford before ever setting foot in this store...no inventory and the help is useless...

One of the cleanest Walmarts Ive been in the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Dont ever, I mean ever, under any circumstance buy tires here. The staff are not well educated on tire installation, and quite difficult to work with. You know its bad when you have to explain to them what the markings on the tire mean. They never were able to get my tires balanced correctly and tried to blame it on my nearly new vehicle. In the end I got the tires balanced elsewhere and the store manager reimbursed me. What a pain though, this process took months to complete. Pay a few bucks extra and get professionals to do it.

Havent been to this one but, Im greateful to know it has a huge grocery area and sewing stuff! Sadly Falmouth does not.

Has everything. Great prices on market items, not great on meat and seafood. Bread, rotisserie chicken, canned and frozen cant be beat. Well staffed on the floor...only 2 cashiers on a Sunday nite...but lots of self checkout available. Customer service clerk was kind and patient. Good staff.

I mostly do grocery (curbside) pickup which works fairly well. The main issue is often their inventory system which is sometimes confused and says nothing available for ordering but you go in and find 20 on the shelf.

Not enough cadhiers.We dont get a discount on checking ourselves out.The Co. makes enough money they should be offering better deals, & SERVICE.Puttimg too much money in their pockets.

This Walmart is good, but they desperately need help with stocking supplies. I went in to purchase a phone, and they dont have good inventory. They need stockers! I purchased my phone elsewhere unfortunately.

Im done shopping here! Employees are slim. Cash not excepted. Lawn and garden closed due to no employees. Manager told me to apply for a job instead of finding what their website said was in stock. No bags! People walking out with carts full of unbagged groceries! Just a horrible experience every time i enter the store. The security chased out a man who they thought was going to steal. Threw his bike on the ground. Then kept taunting him as he tried to walk away! Disgusting!

It was good, but no_one wears masks ? I know you supposiv do not have to if you have had your shots, but how do you know ? Just keep the FAITH that people are honest

While I enjoy shopping at the store, it is absolutely impossible to get ANYONE at this store to answer the phone. Instead it rings for 6 minutes and then hangs up automatically. Otherwise my rating would be higher.

They had what I needed and it was great and the employees was very helpful

I’m a little disappointed in the appearance in the store. When I visit I see things on the floors, trash etc and when I try calling the store no one answers. A recording gives made choices to choose departments but no one answers the phones in the department which is very frustrating. What if someone was trying to reach someone who worked there for an emergency and I can’t get through because no one wants to answer their phones. I sat here for four minutes trying to get someone to answer the phone and no one would answer very discouraging. The Walmart in Biddeford is much better in appearance and answering their phones but I only go to Scarborough one because it’s on my way home which is easier for me.

This is a big Walmart. Still inventory is low on some items especially in the mens dept- looking for shorts. Nice store- busy.

No shopping bags available at all. No free bags, no bags for purchase. Customer service doesnt seem to be a priority anymore. Focus has shifted to self checkout, only 2 cashiers on firing very busy weekend shopping time. Disappointed. Ill go to Target.

Very friendly staff and very quick Service and it was very easy to find what you were looking for.

Not enough staff, lost a photo order after I had confirmed they had it twice. It took 15 minutes for them to even let me know that. Self serve registers do not take cash, only 1 in person register and supervisor very snippy.

I went to this Walmart tonight to buy groceries and a new television. I had a full cart. But instead I wasted two hours shopping just to be told there were no registers open for cash. Is Walmart getting to be that lazy that they don’t want to have to deal with counting cash at the end of a shift. It will be a very very long time before I go back.

Store is more than 50% empty. When you complain the standard answer is we can only stock what corporate tells us on our hand holds devices. We can not open more checkouts, corporate tells us how many registers to have open. Use the self checkout.On top of all the excuses their pricing is no longer comparable to neighboring stores. There is a reason they no longer have the signage always low prices, they can be 30-50% more than the other chain grocers in the area.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

They should have more register open at night time not only one register. Last time I waited like almost an hour to get through the register

Lots of people, but we were able to quickly find what we were looking for and get out.

The first thing was self checkout was debit or credit only the the had only three other registers open for cash only and absolutely no 10-20 items or less lanes. And it took me 15minuto So that being said I was the third person in line and none of them had much stuff and the other three registers were lined up onto the sales floor.Sonya Sanborn

Obviously Walmart isnt the greatest place on Earth but I have a soft spot for the Scarborough location. Its usually pretty well-stocked and organized and the employees, for the most part, are surprisingly kind and helpful. I particularly love the ladies at the Customer Service end. Doreen has been there for years and is always quite charming with her dry sense of humor and exotic South African accent. Then theres the other one whos name I always forget. Paige? Shes very nice too and always very helpful. I went in the other day with an item I didnt have a receipt for and just by checking my credit card history she found it, gave me a refund, and also let me buy my groceries there to save me from waiting in line. All-around pleasant experience every time I see them. Theyre the perfect employees: nice and friendly without being phony about it. They deserve a lot more then what Im sure theyre getting paid for.

Im a short person, a lot of items in this store are stocked up on the shelf to high to be accessible to me without climbing in a cart. They rarely have items that are fit to me, such as today not one single pair of sneakers my size, they take forever to restock certain things such as the purple glow in the dark paint, or the sour apple jolly rancher drink mixes for example havent had any in stock for six months. When approaching the management team, about when things might return they give you a snide rude remark most often as they seem to find themselves above the customers needs. Its a no brain operation there as in those who run the store are lacking in any. Though they do in general have some good people who are just employees working there. The people in electronics for example or even working in the deli and bakery sections are at times very helpful and pleasant. At least theres that, but if your looking to get everything on your list its pretty doubtful.

Most quiet, peaceful, organized Walmart Ive ever been to in my 33.5 years of existence. It was almost eerie!

Never takes me long to find what I need here. I feel like I always get a relatively close parking spot, dont have to wait in line at checkout and the store is pretty clean.

Dont forget they also have delivery service * ...which Ive also employed, and Absolutely loved that I didnt have to brush snow off the Car.lolI
