Never been here before but wanted to check them out as I wanted to buy a preowned set of clubs. Came In on a Tuesday afternoon and I was one of 2 customers in the entire store. I walked around for literally 30 min without anyone so much as saying hi or even acknowledging my existence lol. The employees wouldn’t even make eye contact with me. I did see one of them walking around and texting on his phone though….Guess they don’t want my business. Left after 30 min and won’t be back, needless to say. I am in sales and if I ever operated like this or treated my customers this way I’d be out of a job pretty quick. Place is a joke. Read the other reviews too, it’s not just me who has had this experience at this place.
Well I walked in on Sunday the 18th of April about 3pm there was one customer in the store and 2 guys sitting behind the counter spinning clubs in there hand. I came in planning on buying a new set of clubs figured around 1,200 - 1,500 it would cost me but these 2 guys couldnt even find the time to stop there conversation to ask if they could help. As I was looking at the sets I noticed a few had scuff marks on the bottom of the heads wrapped in plastic. I thought thats odd maybe from people swinging them on the carpet just then a guy walked over grabs a club and starts hitting balls with it in the range area.

They speak and they are nice to you their just not very helpful.You have to be a certain Shade For unsolicited help. Great if you like serving yourself. Just know what you want before you go in there find it yourself and pay and leave.
Really great. Worked with Greg Evans, he helped me a lot and had a vast knowledge of what was best for my beginner game. Also, had a whole set of clubs re-gripped and one re-shafted. Great so far.

I wanted to get new grips on my clubs. I emailed the store on January 29 (late in the day), asking for a price on buying 11 new grips as well having them install 2 others which I already had. I asked if they had the Winn grips I wanted in stock and how long they needed to do the job. I got no response on January 30, so I resent the email today, January 31 at around noon. As of the end of day today - no response.I guess they have all the business they need and don’t want mine.

Absolutey TERRIBLE!!!! In the store for over 30 minutes and not one of the 3 sales people, who were not assisting other customers either, asked if they could help me. So I went just around the corner to Dicks Sporting Goods and purchased several hundred dollars worth of golf equipment while receiving prompt and courteous service and much better pricing. I would NOT recommend Edwin Watts to anyone!!!
Took my Taylor Made M6 9 iron in to be re shafted after it broke & they are sending it back to the factory for replacement. AWESOME.

Ive been doing business with Matt and his staff for years, and I must say Ive never had anything but courteous, prompt, and professional attention and advice. Ive bought and traded iron sets, drivers, woods, putters, wedges, bags - you name it - Ive probably bought it. Their stock of used clubs is phenomenal. I was just recently in the store on a very busy Saturday to get my clubs re-gripped by Bill, who had just finished helping another customer pick out a set of irons. Every salesman, and demonstrator had customers who were being helped like me. I am very patient and didnt mind the wait. I would highly recommend this Edwin Watts for all golfers, beginners and pros alike. Customer Service was AWFUL! Walked in planning to get fitted and spend $1000 on a set of clubs but the service I was given, was so horrible that I left. No one seem to have time to help 1 of 3 customers that was in the store, yes only 3 people. Then they tried to sell me a used set that was beat to HELL for 200 less than New Ones. Have always liked Edwin Watts maybe its Golf Galaxy thats causing the issue or maybe they just dont care. Wish I could give Zero Stars extremely disappointed.

I walked in there and no one really cared that I was there. I stood in one area for 10 minutes and I did have a salesman say hi to me. When I asked them a question they looked at me like I was crazy and rudely gave me an answer of I dont know. I wouldve preferred them to say let me find out or Ill do my best rather than… I dont know. After I receive that answer I tried to find out myself on my phone and didnt get anywhere so I left. Ive been told before that there is a kid that works here that doesnt care and unfortunately I know exactly who others are talking about.
I have used Matt and his crew for many tournaments and personal use. Never had a problem. They go out of their way to help you.

They even have tour pros like Tim Oneal and Tommy Schaff working in there when they can...The full time staff couldnt be nicer and always find time for people like me that dont know a thing and just hang out in golf stores bothering employees..lolThey can work on your clubs right there in the store really cutting down on turnaround time and can fit you for anything from a driver or putter to shirts and shoes..If they dont have it, theyll order it for youGreat Place!

I went in to get a new shaft put on my driver. I walked in with my driver in hand, and walked to the front counter. The two young guys standing behind the counter both looked at me and continued doing what they were doing.After standing there awkwardly for about five minutes I wondered to the back of the store where it looked like there was a shop. I stood outside the door of the shop for about ten minutes to no avail. I stuck my head through the door and got glaring looks from two older men inside so I resumed standing awkwardly.After about ten minutes another younger guy walked up and asked me what I needed. I told him about needing a new shaft and he told me he would go get someone to help me. Finally.Ten minutes later, still no one helping me. I could see the guy who said he was going to get someone standing behind the counter talking to another worker. Finally, the older gentlemen walked out of the shop. Both looked at me and proceeded to walk past me to help an older gentleman customer.At this point I walked back up to the guy who said he would find someone to help me. After waiting about five minutes for him to finish a fascinating conversation about his friend who knew a guy who beat Matt Kuchar in high school, he finally recognized me and apologized. He took my drive and looked at it for about 10 seconds and informed me that they couldnt change the shaft because Taylormade wouldnt send them a part they need.All in all, I spent about 45 minutes in this place only to be told that they couldnt do what I wanted. I will NEVER be going back to this Edwin Watts. The other stores I have been to (St. Simons, Atlanta) have been great, but this one was a terrible experience.

Horrible service. Asked for a specific iron to demo and all I got was if we got it, its in the bin in the back. It wasnt I had already looked through everything for half an hour. I guess they didnt think someone my age could afford a $1000 set of clubs, but they wont ever know now. Ill wait to get elsewhere.
