We were passing through Savannah and picked up a couple things. The lady was very friendly and store was clean. She rang me up and I thought it was a bit high but my husband was with me so I figured he added something to the basket. Get home and as Im starting to unload Im doing the math in my head. There is no way this stuff cost 56 and some change. Tried calling but no answer. Guess Im just out the $ because Im not making a almost 3 hour round trip for it. They dont give you an itemized receipt so make sure you keep up with the cost as it is being rang up!!

Of the four Asian markets I visited recently in Savannah Han Me was clearly the best. The store is clean, well organized and has a fairly wide selection for its smaller footprint. The owner was very helpful and took a real interest in making sure I found what I was looking for. And yes, I did get a piece of Korean Ginseng Candy as I checked out. Highly recommended.

This is a GREAT local Asian food market. Ive been to every major Asian food store in the Savannah area, and this is by far my favorite. They have a good mixture of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese items. The owners are extremely friendly and make me feel like Im a favorite customer even though I only stop by once a month. I cook a lot of authentic Japanese food and no other store has all the ingredients I need, so I stopped going to them.

Han Me is my favorite local asian grocery in Savannah. The owner is super nice every time Im there and she often gives out candy to her customers. Give this place youre business. They also always have Kewpie Mayo in stock which is amazing if you havent tried it.

I like the selection and the lady was nice. But I feel weird about the fact that I was shopping alone, browsing (and there was one other shopper elsewhere). Then I heard the jingle indicating the front door opened (someone leaving or coming in). And the owner raced to where I was as if she was looking for me, took my things out of my hand and to the counter and basically forced my check out. I was still shopping around. I’m assuming my skin color made her paranoid and she assumed when the door opened that it was me shoplifting 🤷🏾‍♀️. It was just really strange to have someone take my groceries from me and with such timing. But allow the other person in the store to continue shopping independently.

Small store with the basics. My big issue is how come a $9 item and two $4 items end up costing $23? Is there a secret $1 charge added to each item?I wont be back to this one.

Yeah this is one of the best Korean food stores in Savannah the other ones on Montgomery Cross Road thats one of the best because theres only two and theyre both good

This is the cleanest and most organized Asian market I have been to in town. Well-stocked with a variety of dry, packaged, frozen, and refrigerated goods. Staff is polite and practices safe social distancing and precautions.

If you want ti cook any type of Asian cuisine, this is your spot. When I come here I always get my bimbibop sauce, individual packets of Nori, mochi and at least one type of kimchi, which she has several.

The place I always go to and can depend on for ingredients and snacks. The store has all the essentials for my Korean dishes and is really organized so it’s always easy to find what I need. The recommendations for snacks the owner makes are also always spot on.

I live in the Atlanta area, and I recently visited Savannah for vacation. I was pleasantly surprised to find a market that sold ingredients for Korean food. I have been learning Korean and finally wanted to try cooking a recipe. The sweet older lady there was so nice. She helped me find the ingredients and answered any questions I had. Then she gave me ginseng and coffee candies as a sweet treat. I will definitely visit again when I am in the area.

Cleanest Asian market around! The grocery selection is primarily Korean grocery based. The price can be high on some items but it’s cheaper than going to Atlanta! Due to language barrier, Ms Kim may sound curt but she is the kindest person! If you’re looking for authentic Korean grocery, Hanme is the best in town.

Rather impressed with the Korean goodies they carried. Not as extensive as say H Mart, but sufficed for my needs. Older lady was friendly and helpful.

Whoever the old women is, i don’t care, she was so rude. She was literally slamming the stuff I was buying. Slamming the pen and receipt. Mumbling under her breath. This was my first and last time coming to this shop. There have clearly been more then one review on a rude women working there, so clearly this is showing that y’all don’t care. Definitely find another Asian mart to go to.

I live in Richmond Hill, and I travel to Savannah to get all my Asian food and goodies from this store. Its well worth the drive! I have shopped here for years, and I hope they remain open for a LONG time. Theres always something yummy cooking in the back, and Im always greeted with a smile. Love this place!!!

Some stuff are expired. And the korean lady is not friendly. Yelled at me actually. Store is dirty and not organized. She yelled at me for opening the fridge and checking the expiration dates. Definitely not coming back. And oh she charge too much!!

Great Asian food and seasonings at great prices. I try to cook and eat healthy but flavor-fully. So I get quite a bit of my groceries here. Sriracha,Cinnamon Sticks,Fish Powder,Shrimp Powder,Curry Powder and Hot Dry Mustard, I use these so much in all my cooking. Ginger candies,good for you and good to you,tasty little treats that settle temperamental tummies. I love this store.

The owners were extremely helpful and took me around the store pointing out where to find each item I was looking for. The prices are on all of the items, so Im not sure why people have commented on this. There are stickers on everything (not labeled on the shelf) and everything is priced equivalent to other markets in town (and much cheaper than Whole Foods, etc.). Ive been back 4-5 times now and always have the same positive experience.

Very good market with Korean & Japanese foods. Fresh made kimchi, all kinds of frozen dumplings, fish and meats. Lots of noodle choices, Japanese sweets n snacks, teas, condiments and hard to find canned goods. Also sells chinaware like bowls, dishes, chopsticks, ricecookers, as well as Korean dolls and decor.

Amazing employees,they will give you recommendations and held you find everything.

Good selection of korean drinks and food, usually have the pears or melon availabe for fresh fruit. Godd selection of spices and noodles, also sells cookware, china, and eat ware. Owners are Korean, great and freindly people.

Korean lady was really rude. Yelled at my mom for looking to hard to find expiration dates on the stuff she was selling. Followed us around the store. Price is outrageous. Not friendly at all.

I heard that they make and sell their own kimchi. I just now called to ask about the price and I was told that I had to come in to find out the price and then was promptly hung up on. Very rude. I wish I could give zero stars. I will take my business elsewhere.

She charged me 5.99 for 4 sticks of lemongrass (frozen solid) and 2.99 for about 10 sprigs of lime leaves. I could have bought a bushel of each from the woman over off Hodgson Memorial for what I paid at this place and she is kind of rude. Won’t go back

Horrible customer service. The owner is rude and yells at you for opening the fridge for more than 5 seconds. The produce is terrible quality and the store is dirty! I will never shop there again.
