Great place to find Asian food and other condiments around this area. I’m surprised at the abundance of stuff they have! They also have a hidden area towards the back right of the store, you have to go down a hallway and there’s a ton of sauces, noodles, frozen goods, and drinks. There’s also a walk in cooler that’s closed, you have to open it yourself, and they have a ton of vegetables in there, it’s great! There’s a lot of boxes blocking the way sometimes, but it has everything you need there.

This was my third visit to this supermarket, and I must admit to having had a big misunderstanding about it. This supermarket has a hidden aisle that people around me often find difficult to detect, located in the innermost row of the supermarket, which gives access to the inner space of the supermarket, and which is very well stocked with all the goods. You can see almost anything you want, including hot pot beef slices, seafood, vegetables, frozen seafood, dumplings, and more. Even if you cant find it, you can contact the front desk.On my first two visits, I didnt find this aisle, and I was very confused as to why I could never find the food items mentioned in the comments section. But today I asked the front desk and I can say that I have discovered a new look at this supermarket. Apart from that, I must say that the services are all very friendly and the store has become neat and clean.

They have every weird Asian ingredient you would ever imagine. They even had natto when I wanted to try it! Busy at times but vast selection and friendly staff.

Awesome place. Authentic Asian goods with changing stock. (could be a good or bad thing depending on what goods you like to get) This place is a little cramped and stuffy but you know its authentic and you get great prices. One of the only Asian groceries in Savannah area. Overall good quality, you get what you pay for! However, some of the goods are imported so just make sure to look at expiration date. Most of the stock is perfectly fine though. would definitely come here again.

A little dingy, a little cramped, but you cannot beat their selection of imports. If you cant find an east Asian ingredient, drink, sauce, etc you can almost certainly find it here! Also have a great selection of herbal medicine and dried flowers.

This is just the place you cant avoid going every once in a while if youre of Chinese descendant or into authentic Chinese groceries. Of course there are online vendors such as Yamibuy, but no matter what you still need a physical Chinese grocery store like this to buy frozen dumplings, fresh veggies and etc.I love how well stocked it is. It could use a facelift both inside and out, but who cares! Ultimately its all about what you can get. I cant imagine life without this store.

I love that store. I go there to shop for Jasmine tea. Also, they have a wide variety of Asian foods, including various teas and all of the ingredients that you need to prepare an excellent Asian style dish including Japanese, Chinese or other Asian ethnic cuisines.

This is the Disneyland of Asian markets in Savannah. I visited over the weekend to pick up some red curry paste (they didnt have Mae Poy, but the brand they carry is just as tasty). I left, not only with my curry paste, but with some of the largest, most beautiful dragon fruit Ive ever laid my eyes on. Three stars for the head spinning, over-the-top variety, and enforcement of mask wearing. It would be nice if they tidied up and made the store smell like it received a regular cleaning.

The best full service market, filled with Everything you need to make an excellent chinese meal. Everything from Jasmine tea to rosebuds. Its located at the corner of Henry and Price.

Honestly dried items are fine but continously i had troubles with frozen items. Bao buns had MOLDS on them and when i went there to switch it out the new one also had MOLDS, it was so deadly awful. Pork belly also had WORMS, not just one but TWO THREE WORMS IN THE PORK BELLY. IT WAS SO NASTY! Control your quality better.

The produce is always fresh and they have really good prices. Be ready to take a bit of time in there, because there is a LOT of unique and constantly changing stock.

The cashier was very kind - helped me find a couple different items. Impressive array from spices, sauces, rice, and vegetables, to cookware and beautiful bowls. But be sure you dont miss the back room that has as much, if not more than the front!

Its a small store yet good variety. The clerks & workers were helpful and kind. And I found what I was looking for and much more.

Today I went here for the first time and I just want to say I was shocked on how much cool products that have in here. I like to dip into other cultures. The staff was very helpful & friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. The prices are very reasonable

This is the best Chinese market in Savannah. The tofu is really inexpensive we stock up for the month when we go here.They have all the best produce to make your authentic Chinese dishes. They also sell woks, steamers etc.you can get fresh, frozen, canned and dry goods.The staff are really friendly and the prices are inexpensive.Who doesn’t love Chinese.Take a trip down and load up on all the items that are hard to find everywhere else.There is even a small parking lot which is ideal. Bring your money I guarantee you won’t leave empty handed. They have everything you never knew you needed.

Everything you need to cook Asian dishes at a reasonable price. When we went it was a bit crowded with people moving boxes around but the selection is worth the tight space.

The place is not cheap and one of the cashiers were extremely rude when we asked a question. A lot of items have no price tag on them or the price given isn’t the same at the register.

The Food is Awesome. They sell stuff I like, for example, pickled stuff and candy.

The best Chinese market in town! We were able to find most of the ingredients we needed for Chinese dishes, offers a lot of frozen Chinese food for those who doesn’t cook as well!

They do have asian specialty products. But they are not cheap. Many of them can be found at kroger. They dont mark prices on the items and the ones that are marked are often wrong. Be careful to note the prices yourself. They also dont unpack many of the store items and the narrow aisles are crowded with boxes. NO WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. the meat counter is also dirty looking.

Great selection and good prices. If you have questions dont be afraid to ask they are very helpful. We like to get the chrysanthemum drink in bulk here.

A Savannah staple for many years. The owners are super nice, kind and caring and the option for Asian products is fantastic. Be sure to find the back back room. That is where all the gems are waiting.Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best Chinese food supermarket. They seem to have just about everything possible plus some more. The people are friendly, professional and just great people. I cant say enough good things about Chinatown Market.

Only asian market that has a large inventory. Owner goes to atlanta on a weekly basis to stock up on fresh produce. Worth a visit!

Dont ever think this place is small! in the outside its appeared to be small or at least that what I thought! but when I went in, its so big full og goodes! the fridge section was fun lots of stuff i never knew before i got me so vegetables and then of cores some noodles and the green tea ice cream was great!

I love this place! The only problem I have with place is the parking lot. People just park however they want...its hard to get in and out of the parking lot.

We love Chinatown Market! I stopped going to the farmers market because I would visit here afterward and inevitably find better looking/tasting vegetables in their cooler. Our kids love all the snacks, candy and Asian drink options, whereas my husband and I are happy to find all of the sauces, seasoning, and fresh vegetables I find in Hong Kong markets. The owners are very friendly and their staff are all extremely helpful.

This place is a gem. They have so much stuff. Fresh veggies and all the Chinese cooking staples and then some. Lots of frozen precooked stuff which are lifesavers when youre in a pinch. Its always a bit messy and has a warehouse feeling, but I dont think thats a deal breaker.

They have a massive selection of Asian goods. This grocery store is also a restaurant supply store, which means they usually have very fresh produce. Dont expect help finding something though.

I heard the shop owner passed away couple days ago. I feel so sad about that. He was a great man to talk with, and he was always friendly to me when I needed help finding things. This little store brought me passion on cooking Chinese food. I cant imagine what my life gonna be without Chinatown Market. I hope they keep open if possible. RIP David Lee.

Odd shop but totally authentic and strange

Its better than nothing if you miss having Asian treats and groceries. The area around it is really sketchy. Items are not clearly marked with prices but you can get snacks, cookware, grains, and freezer items which I didnt get to check out.

A friend suggested I stop by. And to my surprise very very pleased. Meat counter well lit clean meat is fresh.

Great source for Asian groceries. Most of the asian food stores focus on Korean goods. This one is more geared towards authentic Chinese groceries.

You can get most of the Chinese ingredients here, fresh baby bok choy, choy sum, flat noodle, Korean spicy noodle, fresh Chinese mushroom, etc... love the store owner JinJin, Lucas, and their friendly staff!
