Just be mindful that operating hours are not the same as listed. We came at 9:55pm EST. The door was locked and than lady opened it for a second and said they were closed, when operating horses claimed that they were supposed to be open till 11pm.We came back at 7am, its still was closed. They opened after 8am.
The gals in here were very accommodating. I went to purchase an asthma inhaler and they were out of stock on the shelf and they went out of their way to dig out of the boxes of inventory that were waiting to go out and pulled one out for me so I didnt have to go down to Walgreens. That was a big help!
I had a good experience buying film here. Was good to see reasonably priced film still in stock. Thanks to the staff member for being friendly.
I’ve had only good experiences! Helpful cashiers, helpful pharmacists that are very communicative. I experienced for the first time a cashier explaining why my coupon didn’t work opposed to just the flat “it’s not working,” which was really nice and gave me to the opportunity to get another item so it worked. Appreciated that a lot!
The store itself is dirty and needs a lot more attention
I love this cvs. The location is great and the store is so neat and clean. The staff is so helpful and friendly.
It says that the store closes at 11 both online and on the stores front door, but when I showed up at 10:15 they were already closed.
The store was a bit dirty and disorganized. The checkout area was confusing and both times we stopped in this weekend the receipt printer broke.
In Savannah on vacation and my husband needed a refill on his medication. Amy, the pharmacist was our angel in Savannah. Great service and she cares. Thanks Amy, we appreciate you! 😊
Some of my grievances with this store are not necessarily the store’s fault but still are an issue when trying to visit: parking is nonexistent, getting here (unless you’re walking) is an issue. There is normally always a line for the pharmacy and then the pharmacists have never really been that helpful, more of a “figure it out on your own attitude.” Also the self checkout: I’ve had more issues with it than ease so, all things considered maybe the CVS needs a little update.
I cant say much about this store as a store. However, I have had quite a few complex issues come through this pharmacy - through no fault of their own - and each time they dealt with it with a very courteous and professional demeanor. I highly recommend it as a pharmacy.
Its 3 min till 9. Girl behind counter will not take a piece of paper from me!!! Really????? I dont want ANYTHING FROM HER. JUST WANT TO DROP OFF A SCRIPT. this place has gone down FAST
The store is smaller so the selection is smaller. The cashiers are generally very friendly; I have yet to have a problem with them and I’ve been shopping here for 5 years.Since it is in downtown Savannah, you’ll need to find a parking spot and walk to the store. My only real grievance is that the only price checker/red box is usually broken.Other than out it’s a good get in, get your stuff, and get out drugstore.
Had dr call in prescription in the am. Tried to pick up at 5p. Had not filled because didn’t have insurance info. Did not try to call me. Only 1 pharmacist working. Long line and lots of calls waiting. Telling everyone it would be 15 minute wait and never even starting on filling prescriptions.
Sometimes the floor staff is helpful when looking for things, other times not; cashiers are bitchy, poor attitudes, usually a long line during any day. Printed receipts are half the distance to the moon. Smells like piss and armpit when you walk in.
I prefer the small, independent pharmacies, plus this place always has a bizarre odor. Also, its fairly obvious no one from CVS actually reads these things, but please bring back your usual stock of shaving products. Some you have erroneously discontinued carrying - for what reason, who knows, as they always sell well and are in great demand. Otherwise, why are you even open if you cannot carry what ppl what?
Was was helpful, didnt purchase much other than some snacks but it had typical cvs prices. No surprises, no complaints. Easy transactions.
This CVS is always convenient and wonderful. I feel like I need to stand up for CVS by saying that they are not obligated to allow customers to use their restroom (especially in the Historic District of Savannah). Technically, only restaurants/cafes/hotels are obligated to have restrooms since customers/clients have to stay in the facility to eat (and inevitably use the restroom, if need be).For those who are giving CVS 1-star reviews because they couldnt use their restroom? Sorry, but thats stupid and not fair to CVS. Downtown Savannah does have a public restroom (not far from CVS) that EVERYONE is allowed to use. So go there and stop blaming the businesses.
Convenient location a few blocks from the lady and sons so I can get my diabetes medication after eating there
Certainly nothing special for this CVS. This location had a pretty restricted selection unfortunately but we were able to get the toothpaste that we went in for.
After trying to fill a perscription on 2 different occasions I will not be returning again. The pharmacists have been miserable and rude every single time. I understand people have bad days from time to time but they just clearly have no concern for their job or their customers. I was told my prescription would be ready in 30-40 minutes. 2 hours later I am still sitting here waiting. I highly recommend visiting any other cvs location over this one.
So unprofessional. After they did not get a response from me, they called my mother to tell her I have prescriptions waiting for me. I am an adult who does not need my mother questioning about my medical care. After calling to ask about why, the pharmacist, Ethan, was short and did not even bother to apologize or explain why they violated my confidentiality.
Its a CVS, so you know what to expect if youve been to one before. If not, they have a basic selection of toiletries and groceries. The medicine section is pretty extensive, and there is a pharmacist inside. The store was clean.I rate this CVS one star because they dont allow customers to use the bathroom. They say there is no public restroom, but apparently there is no restroom for paying customers either. It was very frustrating.
Love CVS and downtown its not always really busy like the others
We were in Savannah for a few days this past month. I realized I had forgotten my Lantus needles and if you are diabetic, you realize how important those daily shots are. I was greeted immediately in this location and told the pharmacist my problem. In just a few minutes, I was walking out the door with enough supplies to last me until we returned home. Usually it takes a great deal of red tape to obtain supplies that have a prescription when you are from out of town and CVS cut through it in just a few minutes. The service was outstanding. Thanks again.
Nice workers but CLEAN UP THE Outside! The windows on the outside are dirty dirty dirty looking. Shame on CVS to allow this eye sore in beautiful savannah.
Store is garbage. No public restroom. Spent $40 in there and was told I had to go to Panera around the block to relieve myself. Big company hasn’t figured out the basics yet.
Its crowded and very over priced. The bottles of water are a few dollars each like a night club. I am not sure that corporate would approve. I would avoid this one and go to another one. Also they close early. Not very convenient for a convenient store!
Pharmacists were very rude to me, just recently transferred to a much nicer and quicker Pharmacy down Broughton street. Best decision so far.
Meh. Its a CVS in the city. What do you expect? No bathrooms. Got in and out fast and got what I needed.
Very rude brunette manager. Poor service. Saracastic attitude.
Very convenient and a lot cheaper than buying stuff at the gas stations nearby.
So it was right at closing time and before we were even done checking out they cut the lights out on us. What kind of customer service is that?
This CVS was very disrespectful
Nice little drug store for getting needed travel items and snacks.
The staff were friendly and helpful without acting like stalkers, which I appreciated.
I havent had a bad experience with the store itself, but regarding the pharmacy it is literally impossible to get a hold of. I was unable to refill my prescriptions via online/CVS application. I had to call into the store and continue to find myself on hold or to be transferred around to just be put back on hold. It is honestly ridiculous that I will now have to drive to the store to speak to someone to request a refill.
Convenient location but inconvenient times. This may have changed.
Worst most disorganized Pharmacy I have EVERY been to! Rude every time I go in. They never fill things on time. Often they write my personal medical information down on scrap pieces of paper rather than on their secure server. Awful! go somewhere else if you can.
Not the best prices, and the store is small, so the selection is lacking. But it is extremely convenient for those of us downtown in the historic district
Its a CVS.The facility includes:-air conditioning-clothing-food-drinks-magnets-shelter-human contactWhat it is lacking is:-pole dancers-liquor-a movie theater-a bar
I went in this store with a 3 year old needing a bathroom. I was told by a very rude employee that there were no public restrooms. What kind of pharmacy, or business, does not have a restroom? I would have bought something because I was looking for a drink as well. I had to leave and find another bathroom and luckily my toddler made it and I did not have to change his clothes. I will never go in that store again and I will tell everyone I know to avoid that store. Thanks rude employee... I only wish I would have gotten your name so I could let everyone know exactly who you are.
Very friendly workers here. Why does CVS continue to use carpet in their stores? Dirty.
None of the self check out aisles would take cash?
No public bathrooms for paying customers
Will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. They have lost mine more than once and I am never on hold for less than 5 minutes, typically more.
“No restrooms for customers”
Small, poor selection
Bad even for CVS standards.
Haunted
Regular CVS
