My daughter and I stopped in for the first time today, having passed by it almost every day, and was warmly greeted by Mr Dana, the owner, operator. This charming store is a reflection of the charming soul that cares for it. We had ourselves a guided tour upon entry and found great conversation within. The aroma of books is greatly appreciated as well, having spent the last couple years in an electronic version. A huge selection and a superbly southern welcome make this a perfect retreat from the big box stores and an excuse not to buy on Amazon like I do for so many items out of convenience. It isn’t just a bookstore…it’s local, it’s personable, it’s charming and it’s a lot of books! We will be a repeat customer for years to come.

If you have never been to an true bookstore then go here. From the moment you walk in its like a spell is cast and you experience the wonder of exploring. Its as if youre transported back to the first time you ever fell in love with a book. It lets you re-experience that moment.

He helps veterans in need and his business helps him do that. Owner is a funny, generous, knowledgeable guy. He has a large selection of books I came in to buy several and found a good selections even some cliff-note books. He has collectibles too! He knows a lot about the area and is very helpful! Great business.

Terrible company. They’re selling my two books that I wrote •Insight into Raising Children” and “Ojiba: the Home or Mankind” for $890!! (Crazy!!) each, without my authorization. I have to contact Amazon to take them off Amazon. Lulu.com is also listed as selling both books. They have the right.

An absolutely amazing book store! The owner was very nice and welcoming. He helped me find books I have been searching for for years, and even gave me a list of resources where I can find others! The atmosphere was so cozyband warm, I could have spent all day tucked away in a corner with a good book. Will be stopping by every time were in Savannah, for years to come. 🥰

A great, quaint little bookshop. We are new to Savannah and have passed by a few times. Finally popped in on a Saturday. It’s a great clean, friendly, shop with an owner who really knows his books and is incredibly hopeful. Inventory is organized and there are all types of different books and genres. Definitely enjoyed it and will be making it a regular stop for our book needs. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing store inside! So many different books and they are organized which is amazing and he has a computer to see if there is a specific book in the store. Totally recommend if you are in the area and have the time.

Great place to shop and they are the only place in Savannah that has a huge supply of used paperbacks. Only place I was able to find the book I wanted.

ACME is a unique find in todays ebook centric world. Local small bookstores are very hard to come by. Chains such as Barnes and Noble carry only new editions, and online venues make perusing for one of a lind rare books impossible. At ACME you have aisles of floor to ceiling classic hard and soft cover books. Nestled in there you will find first editions, author autographed editions, and other rarities at a reasonable price.Best of all, they have tons of comic books and graphic novels. If you contact the owner, he will even open up at off hours to help you find what youre looking for.

Now this is a REAL bookstore. He did not even have to order the books I was looking for, and he had them in multiple copies. I called 4 bookstores and not one had the selection he had.

New manager (owners son) has taken over and hes amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Recently remodeled a good bit of the location, especially the exterior. Prices are very affordable, huge selection. Only complaint is the shelves are super close together to the point where you are a little claustrophobic. Definitely going to visit again.

Awesome place for book lovers. A huge selection of used paperbacks and hardbacks. I was searching for horror and mystery paperbacks and found tons of good stuff. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, I only get to Savannah once a year but this will definitely be a destination stop every year. Highly recommended!

This place is open and if u call the number the owner answers and can accommodate you. Treasure of a place wonderful selection and if your looking for something specific his selection is computerized so he can look to see what is in stock. The prices are fair, but for me its all about perusing the stacks and there is plenty here to go through.

Forget Barnes and Noble. This is my new book store.

By far the coolest bookshop Ive been in. Books everywhere ❤! Such a wide variety, from biographies to sci-fi to classical to comics.

Best comics definitely will come back the ones help you and I you want the best comics to hear the best comic stories in the US.
