Was a short visit. The bar area has a great energy to it. Nice when the sun is still in the sky.I enjoyed some wonderful Gin.The staff was very attentive.Looking forward to going back and experiencing more.Didnt have any food.....

Tandem is one of the best bars in Savannah - a hidden gem on busy Bay St offers a reprieve from the chaos whilst still offering prime people-watching. If you duck in during the day or on a slower evening you’ll get the chance to talk to some of the most knowledgeable bar staff in town - attentive, efficient, and always willing to experiment and create new drinks with your preferences. But you most likely won’t even require that as their house cocktails are phenomenal - my personal favorites are Return to Nature and Love and Thorns - unique ingredients that provide proof that gin can actually be exciting! Don’t hesitate, visit this bar if you get the chance.

What an amazing night! Everyone was just lovely. We even got to talk to the owner.

We stopped here while on a pub crawl ghost tour to get a Charlie Shot which was really good. Staff awash extremely friendly and courteous to our group.

Clean bar, with the best bartenders. We came in for coffee and enjoyed our caramel macchiatos so much that we stayed for a couple of drinks. I tried the “French Affair” and my husband had the “Peaky Blinders. We loved them both!

What a wonderful spot! Stephen should not be considered a bartender. He is a mixologist! Stephen created a new drink for my husband that we dubbed The Stevannah. Absolutely delicious.Dont let this gem pass you by..or dont pass by without stopping in!

Super cute coffee spot and bar. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The mixed drinks were delicious. Located very close to everything and in the heart of downtown Savannah. Also very close to river street. We went during the evening and it was busy but the staff still made sure we got our drinks and were taken care of.

Tandem is an incredibly chic and hip bar in a stunning historic structure. The building dates from 1852.The renovation, completed last year, is beautifully done. Theyve merged the past and present in a way that showcases both.The staff at Tandem is super friendly and welcoming. The owner, a fun and sweet man named Rafael, is often on site to chat with guests.This bar is located in the East Bay Inn in the heart of Savannahs historic district. The inn is pet friendly.The coffee, offered at the bar, is killer.And, being in Savannah, of course there is a ghost. His name is Charlie and hes actually a very active spirit, though not in any way aggressive.Go to Tandem, enjoy coffee or some amazing cocktails, soak up the ambiance and maybe youll even meet Charlie.

Had one of the best Old Fashioneds here that Ive ever had.

Its a groovy rooftop with overpriced drinks but that is to be expected with this view. The have built in fire pits in the tables (true story, no kiddin) so when I say its groovy, guys get your ladies up there.

We were recent guests at the East Bay Inn which I cannot compliment enough! As a guest we were given daily drink vouchers for a free beer or wine each evening at the Tandem bar. In addition to our nightly visits I also went one morning to sample coffee and an item from their continental pastry menu. I’ve given the establishment three stars out of respect for the hotel which we loved... over our stay we met several different bar staff employees. All were disinterested, unfriendly and even down right rude! I don’t know what their problem is but by the end we were totally put off to stay in the bar but rather get our drinks in a plastic cup and quickly exit to the inn’s lobby! The $3.49 “cinnamon roll” was an under baked inedible pillsbury tube pastry. It was microwaved however still managed to be frozen in some parts. After a few bites I left it behind. Coffee was average but I was not offered a follow up cup. With tip this breakfast treat cost around $10😱

Really enjoyed visiting this bar during our stay at the East Bay Inn. The owner is very friendly and personable, and one of the bartenders, Cortes, was also very friendly and gave us great recommendations on how to spend our weekend in Savannah. I’d highly recommend visiting this place when Cortes is working.

Was not served and ignored by staff. None of the other customers seemed to have this issue. Does this staff have some sort of bias? This place will be avoided in the future.Edit: thankfully this issue was addressed and I do appreciate that management will not tolerate that behavior.

Very dissatisfied. I would only recommendthis place if you want to be ignored and treated as if you did not exist. I assume white skin will get you served and respected here. That was my experience July 20, 2019.

Youd almost expect a place offering bottomless mimosas to come with a catch: someone in your party leaves with one less kidney... The location is a little murdery... Theyre only serving Korbel... Etc. Nope, none of the above. The place is nice, located near the river and the bartenders are very friendly! This functioning alcoholic gives five stars (or is it 10?).

Awesome bar and bartenders! We are locals and always meant to stop in when it was Skylar. We plan on supporting this new bar. Tandem is on our list!

The folks at tandem are a family. I had a great time watching them work their wizardry with their bottles of ingredients to whip up delicious drinks. If you’ve never had a true whisky sour, have one there. Cortez, Shelly, Carlo, Raphael, Javi, thank you for a terrific night.

Sweet concept. Loved the service and coffee. Beer was good too.

Came in looking for a hot latte and was served a cold cup of I don’t even know what, but it certainly wasn’t a latte. Luckily I opened the lid before taking more than a sip, because the half and half I had asked for the latte to be made with was curdled. Maybe the bartender assumed I wanted a cold latte? Either way I was too embarrassed by the whole situation to go back in to have the situation rectified.

So... I was looking for a chill place to drink and Abe’s on Lincoln and I found this spot. It’s a great place day drinking for a cocktail or coffee.

Had a tasty Bloody Mary. Relaxed atmosphere & personable interaction w bartender.

Came looking for better than the Hampton inn robust and ended up with an expensive cup of hot water...
