Solid coffee made by knowledgeable and friendly staff. The sun beams in the early morning, the fresh flowers on the communal table and the quirky wall art… they all added some appealing softness to this cool industrial coffee shop/roastery. I am glad that I took some fresh roasted beans back to NYC!
Hands down the greatest coffee I’ve ever had!!! I live in Tallahassee, FL and discovered Perc on a trip to Savannah recently. Since then I’ve been ordering Perc and learned it’s sold at Whole Foods! Will literally be the only coffee I buy from now on!
What a great walk for a wonderful cup of Fall blend coffee.I will be back.
The space is cool. Love the location. But the Condor Mocha is the best coffee drink I have ever put into my face, period, the end. Holy sweet Jesus.
Good food good coffee. Extremely slow! Waited 20 min for my coffee to be made and they were not that busy.
Love this place. A great place to be a little adventurous with new coffee creations. The staff was awesome as well. Very friendly and willing to explain your choice of coffee. Cant wait to go back.
Unique little place! Their take on cold brew mojito was amazing. Loved that you could see the roasters out back and loved the outdoor seating area! The staff was very friendly and willing to answer questions about coffee and baked goods. They all seemed very knowledgeable. I look forward to returning to try more of their unique drinks!
These people have fun roasting amazing coffee, and their love for the process and the product is evident in everything they do. I cannot find a better roasted bean for the price point, and anytime Im in Savannah I consider it mandatory to stop in and have a coffee or an espresso. I know Im just another customer, but I feel like family, which shows that they are doing it right. Thank you PERC family!
EDIT / UPDATE: Both bags of coffee we got were very good, and I appreciate the response from the owner on the cafe being in development. The instant coffee is also very nice, highly recommend for that 3pm cup because it’s less intense.Original review:Was excited about this spot because of other reviews. I got a decaf oat milk latte and it’s not drinkable — clumpy from not shaking the oat milk, and taste like a burnt cookie. I got two bags of coffee and instant coffee, so excited to try those still, I hope they also don’t taste burnt. Also, this is not a place to hang out and do work. Poor air ventilation, hot, and the cafe is makeshift. Looks like they are just getting started with their cafe program, and probably in a year or so this place will be really great.
This place so good! They also had some wonderful inventive drinks. I wanna take a plane from Seattle and visit the city again just to have more Perc!
Popped in for a coffee to go after reading reviews. Loved the place, the staff and the coffee (and pastries). Had a tour of the roasting room. Learned a lot! Super place to visit, chat and have coffee. Happy we found it and will visit again when we are next in the area.
Do yourself a favor and stop here. Best mocha I’ve ever had! I’m not even exaggerating. They put care and craftsmanship into their products and it shows (tastes?).And I learned they get their chocolate from a company in Athens — more local, yes!
Found this place while on a road trip and loved it! The coffee was great, the people were sweet, and the vibes.... they were immaculate
Well Im glad I went inside! I thought that maybe I was in the wrong part of town... Residential neighborhoods and passing by a giant building... Oh they must just roast in there... WRONG. Although the coffee menu is small, it is top notch. The Ethiopia that was on drip was brewed perfectly.... Fruity notes of blueberry with an earthy cocoa finish... Wow! The mocha was out of this world too! Do yourself a favor... Pull in and try!
If you are looking for an excellent 3rd wave roaster and cafe, this is your spot in Savannah. If you are looking for what Starbucks serves, you might be disappointed here. But that only boosts PERC in my book. That being said, excellent quality and service. I’m glad my friends back home at duck-rabbit coffee told me to check this place out while in town.
Brilliant little coffee place. Coffee was fantastic, service was awesome, and the vibe was super chill. Cant recommended it enough.
Fantastic place, the barista was knowledgeable about the products. They make their syrups in house! My latte was yummy, will return again. Thanks Meggie!
The best coffee and the nicest people. Highly recommend stopping by and giving them your business.
Very friendly and professional. Even got a treat for service 🐕🦺!
Best coffee in Savannah! You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. You wont be disappointed!
Great vanilla lavender latte! One of the best i have had. Perfectly made. Sprinkling of habanero sugar on top is amazing.
The coffee here is amazing! It is a lovely space in progress. This would be a regular stop for me if I was a local.
Yesterday I found this coffee shop off the beaten path. I had the Condor Chocolate. One word to describe it - divine.
Cutest little local spot in Savannah! Coffee is amazing! Love the old building!!! Definitely a stop!!! 😍😍😍😍
I’m not a coffee aficionado but I love that chocolate mocha drink. 💕💕💕
Amazing coffee with incredible expert staff! The quality of the beans, the process, and the product is top notch. Great spot to try a fantastic coffee!
This place is awesome! The coffee is freshly roasted, packaged, and shipped on site. I am from Raleigh and the coffee is sold at Whole Foods there. The nice lady at the counter gave us an informal tour and a sample of the nitro cold brew- so good! The cold brew was so creamy it tasted like there was milk in it. We tried the latte with habanero sugar and oat milk, hands down it was the best latte I have ever had! I bought a bag of Columbia Compecafe to take home and brew. The man making and bottling the nitro brew also came out and talked to us and we got to meet the owner.
Amazing little place with great coffee and pastries. Outdoor seating with unique peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend
Decaf was really good. Service excellent, good vibe.
Excellent atmosphere, coffee and the pastries are our of this world.
Ive been searching for what I consider a perfect coffee roaster. After finally getting to visit PERC, Ive found it. Ill definitely be using online shop as well.
We get 5lbs of beans from perc every month. Best coffee around
Great ambience, great coffee.
The coffee here is incredible. I have never been much of a coffee person but here Id gladly pay $5 or more for a small cup. The pour over coffee is a pitcher for only $3 and it tastes excellent. I cant recommend the Tongue Twister enough. The spice is very subtle but you notice it more as you drink it. All of the coffee has a strong flavor without being bitter. I even enjoy it black. This is the only coffee I can say that for.The staff are great and the both the cafe and restrooms are clean. The cafe has a nice ambiance. Its usually a little noisy but not too loud. The latte menu is small but the pour over has a ton of options. Regardless of if you live here or are just visiting I cant recommend PERC enough.
Nice customer service and the coffee was delicious 😋
Really high quality coffeePuts Starbucks to shame.
We buy whole bean Ethiopian at the co-op...light roast, clean, subtle fruits ☕
Best coffee in Savannah. The Perc o Rico was amazing.
Cant wait to be in savannah again for this absolutely delicious coffee
Review of a bag of retail coffee, not the location. I purchased from a shop in downtown.Seems Im very much in the minority with my 2-star review but here goes. I bought a bag of Kenya Kianderi AA with a fresh roast date (3-4 days). Very excited because I love Kenyan/Tanzanian/Ethiopian almost 100% of the time. Unfortunately with this, no matter what method I use (aeropress, pour over, or traditional drip), it has way too many off flavors - very acidic with a moldy wet grass taste. When I visit cities I like to take back of a bag of locally roasted coffee as a souvenir. Ive been mostly happy with what Ive gotten in other places but this was a huge dud. For reference Ive had a lot of national brands like Counter Culture, La Colombe, Stumptown, etc and still prefer to support the smaller roaster, but this is absolutely nowhere close to those in quality. Id like to think I just got a bad batch but its still $17 pretty much wasted.
Best coffee in Savannah!
Best coffee bar none!
Great coffee! In town for work and wanted to find a great coffee place that had different flavored lattes. Behold the Lavender Latte! So delicious. Atmosphere is really chill here like the great bluesy music they play. If you want to get out of your house on a rainy day but just want to chill with a nice latte or coffee, this is the best in Savannah.
Best coffee Ive had.
Friendly staff even super early in the morning.
WOW. The Good Times Latte and the everything croissant with cream cheese just BLEW MY MIND. Run, dont walk, folks.
Best coffee in Savannah. I NEED the bar side to open back up!
Best beans in town!
Great coffee. Seriously the best within 60 miles that I know about. They really know what they are doing when it comes to roasting. Id recommend the nitro or cold brew so you can taste the coffee!
Its cool to have the production business side-by-side with the customer space. As with many places in Savannah, the location can seem a bit shady from the outside.. its not though. Thats just the nature of renovations and restoration in this town. I wish they had more pastry options, but the coffee itself is GREAT.
Cool place. The espresso beans (Juggernaut) I purchased here are hands down the best I’ve yet encountered. 12oz bag lasted me 8 days, pulled excellent espresso shots consistently. Totally recommend tying this bean next time you are in Savannah. Also can buy this bean at Whole Foods, I always have a spare bag now. Simply excellent coffee, looking forward to trying more of their products.
Have been ordering their coffee online for years. The best in the nation!
Lovely place to stop by and enjoy a delicious, fresh coffee. The service is quick and the location very convenient .
Really like this place, they have a great coffee and its cool to be able to see them roast and package their coffee. Its like a coffee shop warehouse, very cool atmosphere!
It smells amazing when you walk in the door...a lovely rich coffee aroma. The staff is very chill and friendly, and the coffee (I got a flat white) is definitely right up there with the best I have ever had. Highly recommend!
I adore PERC. The ambiance is always so peaceful even when its very busy and loud inside. The baristas are so full of knowledge and will answer any and every question you have on the spot. The coffee never disappoints!! My most favorite roaster in sweet Savannah.
Ethically sourced, conscientiously served, single pour coffee. The building and the neighborhood are refurbished and have an old weathered appeal that speaks of the real Savannah. Come plug in your device, theres plenty of room
Really cool building. Drink coffee where they roast it. Nice baristas, quality coffee drinks and bakery snacks. Wish they had a larger coffee menu. Worth a visit for any coffee lover.
Love the service... atmosphere.. the coffee and powered croissant were perfect
I not a fan of Starbucks because its too commercialized but I secretly like their black coffee. Instead I decided to buy a bag of PERC Coffee beans (Columbian) from Whole Foods to support local businesses. After I brewed it, I was incredibly disappointed. I tried all sorts of ways to make it less sour but every moment I took a sip, I couldnt handle it (coming from someone who hates wasting stuff).
Ive traveled all over the world and as an avid coffee drinker, getting to know the local watering hole with the best brew is a priority for me. PERC not only meets that standard for savannah but stands out even in comparison to coffee shops in much bigger cities. This place is consistent and amazing. Highly recommend their pourovers.
Fresh roasted and delicious coffee. love their open roasting facility where you can sip on a coffee and watch the whole process. friendly service and a great space. got turned onto their beans at foxy loxy and love that theyre such an integral part of the local coffee scene. walk around the hood theyre in, theres a lot to discover, from bees to beams. a great little slice of savannah.
THE BEST coffee in the area. Hands down, love this shop! I have have 2 bags of their beans at my house, but love coming in for some hand crafted goodness!
Would love to see a flight. Pistachio Rosewater espresso tonic, barrel aged cold brew, lavendar miel, a ristretto. Just sayin bruh 😌 ♡ you guys are great either way!
Great atmosphere!Love that they have 3 different espresso options (including decaf) at all times!Great quality, the baristas were very friendly.I will visit again when Im in the area!
Every bag Ive purchased is literally the best coffee Ive ever brewed. All of them are perfect. I look forward to visiting this place. I get it at Earth Fare Grocery. Ive been drinking coffee for 45 years and am pretty certain of my judgement of this. Any bag will blow your mind.
Wonderful coffee. Found a bag of the juggernaut roast at Whole Foods. Couldt get enough of it. Used the whole 12oz bag then ordered a 2lb bag online. Was pleasantly surprised to get a 4oz sampler bag of coffee along with it and it is very very good.
Great coffee. Fun industrial vibe. Ive been buying beans from here since my first visit.
Nice.
Delicious. Cafe closed for pandemic. Good curbside process.
Charged 5 bucks for a small mocha and it wasnt anything special. Spent 30 on two bags of coffee and it tastes like Im drinking tea. The reason Im giving three stars is because the staff was friendly. Overall I will not be back.
One of friends suggested this place. Its like hidden coffee shop. Love the industrial feel like interior and coffee tastes great as always!
Batista clearly knew exactly what he was doing. This is no Starbucks. Its a real coffee shop. This was my first visit, but definitely wont be my last.
One of my favorite roasters and coffee shops. Baristas are very knowledgeable and friendly, and its really awesome to be able to see the roaster. The coffee itself is fantastic and complex.
I tried Perc coffee at the Lulu chocolate bar in Savannah, and had to bring some home. This coffee is sold at a few places in Savannah, but its worth a stop at the source in town. The interior is nice and they gave me a free drink with my purchase of a couple bags of beans. Very nice people, and Im happy to know I can order it online. Its so good.
