Fun place, great staff, and delicious baked goods. The donuts were a bit pricey but that’s expected since it’s vegan. I got the glazed donuts and a vegan brownie. The brownie; one of the BEST I’ve ever had. It had a soft, chewy texture that I loved along with a flavorful chocolate taste. And the donuts; light batter, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good! I was hoping there would be more donut flavors, but I’ll have to come back next time to see. Super cute place, I definitely recommend it!

Its always really nice to find kid friendly establishments that allow for kids to enjoy themselves. This was one of the last breakfasts we had during our stay in Savannah. I tried their breakfast sandwich and my friend tried the pesto panini. Both were phenomenal & really delicious. My daughter got the grilled cheese & she loved it. Drink wise, everything was delicious. My favorite part was the art area for the kids. There are a few tables you can sit in & let your little one enjoy art while you sip your drink. Prices ranged from $5 - $8 dollars & the amount of things you can do was really nice. Kids can paint, glue, sticker, etc as much as they want. The girl in the back will help dry it & provide support if needed. The walls had books for reading & there is a bathroom next to the art area that has lots of paint brushes drying. Its well loved & used.My recommendation is if you have a large party, send only 1-2 people inside & have the others wait outside in the seating area or theres also seating inside if you can snag a spot.Lastly, the location of the shop is prime. It is simply gorgeous! Highly recommend you just sit in one of the outdoor seating or windows to just people watch & listen to the bell. There is a square next to you as well that you can sit to eat if they run out of seating.Overall, visit the location. Maybe get the food to go for prime time & enjoy the beauty of the area.

This is my favorite place to go in town and Ive been going here since they opened. I always eat well, I adore their coffee, and I always develop a friendship with the staff. When I get tired of Foxy Loxy, I run down to Henny Penny. Its a child friendly atmosphere and it makes me want to have kids so I can take them there. The owner, Jenn, can constantly be seen working there and at her other location, Foxy Loxy (though there are a couple more). Quiche, vegan donuts, and killer coffee keep me coming back for more. I think the prices are very fair for the quality. It all tastes home-made. Theyve been working hard on keeping you family and loved ones safe by complying with any new rules on Covid-19 and it shows. I am physically addicted to their coffee, so its going to take a zombie apocalypse to stop me from coming here.

I spent 2 years of my life as a barista, and the nature of espresso is this: you can make the same drink the same way 500 times, and for reasons beyond human comprehension, 1 out of those 500 will be bad. today, I was unfortunate enough to get the bad drink. no hard feelings, it just happens.but I informed the worker at the counter that the drink tasted bad, and the man making the coffee, an older white guy, immediately began to give me hostility. he asked me what I ordered, I replied that I got a café con Leche with skim & a little bit of extra simple syrup. he replied, oh, you wanted it extra sweet? to which I said yes, a little bit. he remade the drink and handed it to me without saying anything and left immediately. I see why! the second drink was unbearably sweet, presumably out of spite? way beyond what anyone would assume is desired when asked for a little bit of extra simple syrup. honestly upsetting to be treated like that when I just wanted the cup of coffee that Ive had there many times before.I leave 2 stars instead of 1 because I have found everyone else who works there to be lovely, and my other experiences at this café have been very nice. as much as my partner enjoys the food here, were likely going to pivot back to Foxy Loxy to avoid malicious amounts of sugar.

The place is adorable and has very yummy food options. The ladies in the counter are extrémalo nice, unfortunately it’s all about the full experience, for some reason the Gentlmen making the coffee probably not having a good day, I felt rushed and extremely unfriendly. Tried asking a few questions about the art classes and received minimal and very short replied, as if he was annoyed that I wanted to learn more about the space. Customer service is what makes an establishment shine, I would definitely come back bc if the ladies however barista has to be given a basic training on how to be pleasant.Side note: they were not busy at all, what a great opportunity to connect with your customers that was missed .

My husband and I have been regulars at Henny Penny since it first opened. Unfortunately we have noticed a huge decline in customer service in the past few months. Constant wrong orders and rude staff (except for Jake, Jake is awesome). After talking to others I have found this is a sad trend for a lot of people. Giving three stars because the food and drink are outstanding and this remains our favorite atmosphere out of all of the “Foxy” locations. However, we will be sticking with the Coffee Fox and Foxy Loxy from now on.

Great shop.. but as an LGBT friendly place I would recommend asking the customers preferred name instead of just going off what their debit card says. There are many transgender folks who may not have had their names changed yet and saying their birth name in front of others could potentially out them which is obviously very distressing. Other than that I would recommend this place to anyone.
