They have everything we need and a knowledgeable staff

My mother and I both tried to do business with this company. She has finished building her home she would have spend maybe 150k with them. They would not give her a quote, gave her the run around and made mistakes with every order she placed. Eventually she went with another company. I tried harder, I would have spent maybe 100k with them. They gave me a quote for lumber and windows, upon reviewing them I realized everything was wrong. When I brought it to their attention they would not correct it and did not return my calls. Eventually I came up there personally and sat around most of the day trying to get the order right and give these people MONEY. Tried to do an order and when it got there they did not order the right materials that I personally went over with them. My framers had to leave the job and go somewhere else to work because they could not deal with the hold up. All there quotes where off by about half. All my estimates for windows and lumber are off by about 30k. For someone who estimates lumber for a living they are garbage. My sales man Glenn only does anything when I show up in person and force them to do their job. I was trying to give these people 100k in business and have now taken it elsewhere. Apparently if you are not some huge contractor or in their good old boy click they don’t care about you. Being younger I get people not taking me seriously. I was in sales most my life and know you can never judge a book by its cover. Just because I am young does not mean I don’t have money to spend. There add says “ anything to build anything” it should say “not open to general public.” If you don’t look the right way everyone in sales here willsnub there nose at you.

Will not patronize this place again this was our second time here the first time we were helped by Jay Little and he was so helpful that my husband we back today and he just left there but this time the guy behind the desk(not Jay Little) was absolutely nasty. I take it they dont need our business so we wont give it to them.

There are lots of reason I use Guerry! Personal service and knowledgeable staff! Its still a lumber yard, tons of supplies and having my truck loaded is huge! Its so convenient and the price point is spot on!

The salesman Frank is always helpful in making sure I get exactly what it is I need and as a delivery customer thats very important to me. Guerry Lumber carries a higher quality Lumber than the big box lumber stores, and they have specialty products that my company requires.

Supplies for all three of our remodeling projects have come from Guerry Lumber, and we could not be more pleased with the quality of these. Each project had a different general contractor, but they all chose Guerry for one reason: Guerry is the best!

The people are always helpful and friemdly here and luckly we dont wait too long. However if your wanting to buy Birch Plywood its less expensive to buy it at Home Depot.
