This was my first time buying from Buy-Rite. Ordering was easy and delivery was on time. There was an issue to work through with the product itself but the customer service team including Catherine and Jill helped me work it out. I highly recommend this team and I will be buying from them again.

Today I was left thoroughly disappointed in the products sold by this company and the lack of respectful customer service. Three weeks ago, I purchased a Jamie Shampoo chair and a Victoria’s styling chair. I was ecstatic about the arrival of my product. However, upon the arrival of my chairs, I discovered that both pieces of merchandise were faulty. The Jamie Shampoo chair was scuffed and soiled with dust and dirt. Also, the legs of the chair are uneven; therefore, the chair totters. Next, I found that my victoria’s styling chair doesn’t easily turn on the unlocked position and requires extreme force to move it. This chair is also tilted to the side, and the hydraulic does not work. When you push on the hydraulic, it blows air and gets stuck on the way down. When my daughter sat on it, it did not pump her up at all.I was highly disappointed in this company at that point because they sold me faulty equipment. Then, when I informed them about the products, they told me to send them footage of the malfunctioning portions of both products to fix them in my own home. I expected to use an already perfect product, not one that I needed to repair. I discussed why I wanted a refund, and I was welcomed with extreme sarcasm and negligence to resolve my problem. Jill Rodriguez was not willing to help me with my situation and refused to listen to my complaints. I would never recommend this company to anyone wishing for a reliable and trustworthy company. I genuinely wish I would have never contributed to the false profits of this business.Update in Response to Buy-Rite Beauty Salon & Spa Equipment: I would first like to state that this business did not originally give me the option to solely return their faulty merchandise. Instead, Jill Rodriguez stated that she was unsure if I would be able to return the products and that I would first have to troubleshoot it to fix the chairs in my own home. My response to her was that first of all you dont troubleshoot furniture, you troubleshoot a computer. Second, I didnt understand why I couldnt return it because the merchandise was defective. They made me take footage of what was faulty about the merchandise they gave me. However, a few videos wasnt good enough. I had to send about 6 videos regarding the faulty equipment. Finally, after a couple days Jill agreed to let me return the equipment. She said I would get a refund for the two chairs plus the $98 shipping fee. Then, I received another phone call from Jill after this conversation saying that she had read my review. I was left disappointed in the lack of professionalism when she asked me to delete it. She claimed that it was filled with half-truths which is completely false. She also said that I was hurting her small business by the review I wrote. From a small business owners viewpoint, I never intended to damage this company. Instead, I wanted to warn others about the lack of customer service as well as the difficulties they may face when returning faulty equipment. I said that once I received my refund of more than half a grand, that I would make changes to my review. Your response wishes me the best of luck. However, its not luck that I need but rather my full refund. Thank you.Update: I was refunded my money. Thank you.

The owner, Richard, is very kind and helpful throughout the whole process. Shampoo bowls had an expensive price but cheap parts! I had to replace the drain lines the ones they sent were garbage and I emailed them several times and they never bothered to do anything about it. My last stylist chair came with cuts in the material as well as the bottom rubber piece being cut and they said they were sending a replacement chair and that’s been weeks ago still nothing. Would not recommend! I have given this company several chances.

I explained the situation to Megan, and she apologized profusely for some that was not even her fault. She then told me that she would send me a replacement bowl, and told me when to expect it. I purchased a Facial Steamer/Mag Light Combo from Buy-Rite and the Mag light did not work immediately after putting together and never did. It took Buy-Rite weeks to finally send out a replacement light. Then after the second time we used the steamer, the fuse fell out during the facial and now does NOT stay in and loosens randomly. After reaching out to them again, they have not given an answer to what should be done next (So much for the year warrant). I definitely would never use this company again and would NOT recommend it to anyone that wants to notch equipment. I usually would not complain, but this has been quite a bummer!

Ordered a salon dryer cart. Came scratched and looked used. Reached out to customer service and was sent a new one. Second one was worse than the first. Sent them both back. Customer service was exceptional!! The only reason for 3 stars.

If anything I was not prepared for the lengthy wait for shipping, make sure in the item page you look at delivery time so you could be prepared.Overall was a great experience, will totally recommend.

I’m not a professional in the industry, this was a personal purchase to assist my father. He’s 78 years old; he’s a stroke survivor and is undergoing cancer treatment. This chair was exactly what we’re looking for and serves two purposes for us. It’s simple and easy for me or my sister to move around from in front of the sink to the side next to the shower so he has somewhere to sit and dress. It’s easy to assemble, but I do suggest two people for assembly. It’s just faster. It’s not right out of the box smooth to recline but with multiple use it has become smother. The quality is great. I know there’s a ton of items for the elderly specifically designed to assist for bathing but getting this chair has made him feel less dependent and a little spoiled since he hasn’t been able to go to his barber for a simple hair cut... more like a trim. Thank you Buy-Rite Beauty, I know this isn’t a professionals opinion on the product but hopefully this perspective can assist in some way.

I have been checked on twice since my purchase to make sure everything has went well. If I could give zero stars I would. I can honestly say that I have never reviewed a company before but I felt like I had to in this situation. I ordered this station for my in home salon. When I received it the drawer literally fell apart and there was a large gash on the back corner. I called and the salesperson Jill said they would send me a new one but it would take three weeks to build. No apology. Meanwhile I’m working without a station. Two days later she emails me and says they can send me a new drawer and give me back 20% if I would like they can ship the drawer “immediately”. I said fine. She emailed me back another day later and said She would send me tracking info “shortly”. A week goes by and no tracking info. I emailed the company instead of her and said I didn’t want to deal with her anymore, I want my refund, and I want the tracking for the drawer. 2 days later jill emails me again and says it will be shipped out soon. AFTER she told me it could be shipped out immediately. I still don’t have the new drawer or the refund. And on top of that, my client cut her finger on another Knick in the wood that I didn’t notice before. This is the worst company, i will never buy from them again. I should get a full refund.Since my original review I have spoken to Jason and he agreed that the way this was handled was unacceptable and gave me a full refund.

All 3 times Lyle has been so helpful and knowledgeable about the products I was ordering and my states specific codes (which is particularly helpful the first time around!). I tried to use typical plumbing PVC parts to fix my salon sink but quickly realized that with a tilting sink it’s next to impossible. So, I found this flexible drain line at Buy-Rite for much cheaper than anyone around. Easy purchase, quick delivery and quality product. Will look at Buy-Rite for future needs.
