Excellent customer service. Best Ford dealer around.
Excellent service. Had to make a reservation. No problem. Understood why. Next day on time and greeted by tech who saw me the day before. Appointment was at 8:00 AM. Vehicle went back at 8AM.One hour later I was driving home. The tech (John) made sure all the paperwork was done correctly. Took care of any concerns I might of had.Would highly recommend This Ford service to anyone. Efficiency, courtousy and attention to detail.I will go back for all my service needs.
They were very courteous, but VERY pricey!
I wanted to get my wifes Mustang in and out for service and a Ford tech inspection. Once again I called made an appointment with JC Lewis Ford Savannah GA. We arrive a few minutes late. ( Hard to get moving after a long week at work on Saturday morning). Service writer, Chad took her Mustang in, honored a coupon I took with us. We left to run Saturday errands. I received a text from Chad stating if I had any question or concerns, to text him at anytime. We had planned on leaving it with him and picking it up near closing. I received a call from Chad in less then 2hr. Chad said they did the service, that the car checked out very well, he did recommended a radiator flush soon. The point to this long review is, Chad didnt pressure me for anything. He was easy to talk to, very friendly. My wife and have bought several cars/trucks and have had service and body work done at JC Lewis Ford for 25 plus years. There was only 1 time in the past we had a problem and JC Lewis Ford made it right.
JC Lewis is a rip off when it comes to service. Took my car in for a purge valve replacement. I told the service technician what the problem was when I arrived. I made an appointment and my car sat all day and never worked on. It wasnt until my wife call complaining and finally they told me what the problem was. This was at 4 pm and they close at 5. The problem was what I told them when I bought the car in. All they had to do is unscrew two bolts and put the 72 dollar new part on. This may have taken 20 minutes. JC lewis charged me $387.00 for that service. I think this was excessive in pricing and needs to be looked into. Also, I did not get me car back until the next day.
I sent my car here because I got the free recalled air bag mail. However, after the maintenance, I found that the brake system and the screen had some issues. I asked the advisor to check it if there’s any problem, he told me I need to change the brake system and the screen. And at the same time, he didn’t tell me I need to pay the inspection fee. At the end he charged me $318 but didn’t show me any list of price! The most disappointed thing was, I rejected to repair and asked my friend rechecked the brake system, he told me that there’s no any problem of it! How dare you charged me $318 but gave me a receipt without any analysis about brake system? How dare you wanted to charge me $1700 for brake and screen?
Busy today, but overall experience was good.
Superb customer service and excellent technicians
Casey Jones is the kind of salesman that gives people the attention they deserve before during and after the sale. Mention this review and receive a free can of Coca-Cola and the management team just made the experience feel the way buying a car should be a joyful one thanks guys for all your help

Brad Swope makes a car buying experience great! I would highly recommend him! Thank you for all of your help since I was a first time car buyer!
Worst dealership I have ever had to deal with. I guess I will start with little mechanical knowledge or could simple just be laziness. I’ve had more then a few terrible experiences with this specific dealership and I am highly not recommending any services to ever be done with them. It all started a few months ago, I was having issues with my power steering and the wheel become difficult to turn. So I brought it in to them and they “checked it out” and said there was no issues and that everything was working good. As furious as I was, because you could literally feel the issue anytime you tried to turn the wheel, I kept my cool and said okay and went home. It didn’t make since to me so I YouTubed how to check out power steering issues. The very first thing they said was to check the power steering resovore to look at the color. It should be a cherry red color and mine was blacker then tar so I looked up how to flush it and then I flushed it completely and refilled it all and haven’t had any issues since. Something so simple a person not a mechanic could figure out and fix within 30 minutes and a PAID mechanic could not figure out as well. Next, my radio said “no gps” so the map thought I was somewhere in the ocean, once again, I brought it in to them, they told me the issue was with my ACM in the radio and that I needed to pay $900 to replace it, I declined because my clock and radio worked fine and didn’t want to pay $900 to fix a map when I have one on my phone. I then got my keys back and hoped in my truck to figure out, my clock now doesn’t work along with a few other thing. With this being the second time of bad service I went back in mad because now I’m forced to pay $900 to fix stuff that THEY broke. I talked to a service manager and he was nice enough to drop the price to $250 for me so I agreeed. They had to order the part and I brought it back in once it arrived. A hour and a half later they came out to tell me it didn’t fix the issue and that I needed to pay them to run more diagnostic to figure out the problem. Just because I drive a expensive truck does not make me you bank account. Thirdly, I’ve had transmission issues (with a power train warranty) and every single time they tell me the fluid is low and topped it off. The last time that happened I started asking questions about it and they told me that “naturally transmissions lose fluid”. Do y’all even hire certified mechanics? The only way they lose fluid is if there’s a leak! That’s common sense! They refuse to fix it. I use my truck for towing, that’s when I have the most issues, anytime there is a load, my transmission fails me, once again they refuse to fix my transmission under warranty because, “ they don’t have a way to test it for a load”. They’ve told me they can’t replace/fix it because they can’t test with a load.” A warranty is still a warranty. If something is broken weather it has a load or not, it’s literally y’all’s job to fix it. Especially if I have a warranty, that’s why I paid extra for it. They warranty doesn’t say it will only fix something is it fails without a load. Regardless, they will no longer have my support or business along with recommendations. I’ve already been telling people to stay away from this dealership and will continue to do so. Guess I’m going back to figuring out how to fix it myself, once again.
I reached out to J.C. Lewis ford when I saw an Explorer on CarGurus. They were so quick to respond, sending me information/details about the car. When that car sold - the sales rep (Stephen B) was really awesome about following up every time he saw a car that fit our “wants/needs.” We didn’t end up buying a car from this dealership - because we found one closer to home - but Stephen’s professionalism and follow through is to be commended.
Well, Im still here at the dealership with my car in service so this wont be a complete review. I was impressed with the service check in process, and the text that provided a link to a video of the service tech updating me on progress. My problem is that now my car has been deemed unsafe because of a bad caliper so I cant drive it home. There are no loaners available. I live outside of their shuttle range. I am new to Savannah, I dont know anyone and have no ride home, no ride to work until they get in parts and fix my car (4 days), and I dont know what to do. My service advisor is trying to help, but...to be continued...
Service department is so helpful, very pleasant and pleased with the service.
No response bk ..had to go to oc ...
Excellent service, with friendly staff.
Nice, professional and very friendly
So here it goes purchase a SS Camaro from them it wasnt quite right when we bought it but they took the right steps to make right so now with confidence I can recommend j c Lewis to anybody they will go the extra mile to make sure youre buying experiences satisfactory!! 😁
We bought a convertible 2019 Mustang GT and this was the best car buying experience weve had. Lanard, along with the general manager, James, listened to us to learn our desires and made sure we had the car that fit us. This is our eighth Mustang purchase and already know we will be back to see Lanard when it is time for number nine. From the first phone call to multiple follow-ups, Lanard maintained focus on us and made us feel like we mattered to J.C. Lewis Ford.We drove four hours to get to JC Lewis Ford after talking with Lanard and James on the phone and highly recommend anyone shopping for a Ford make the trip to Savannah. Like us, you will be happy you did.
Had a great very straightforward buying a new car here, just came in, found what we wanted, and got to purchasing. We never felt pressured or pushed and they made the process painless.
My husband and I both bought our new vehicles from Chris Lewis at JC Lewis. We shopped around to multiple dealerships and hands down JC Lewis was the best priced, least pushy, and has us in and out in as little time as possible. Thank you Chris and JC Lewis. We will be back!
My husband and I drove up from Fernandina Beach, Fl to buy a used truck we saw online. The used truck was supposed to have total inspection but we found out different. We have had nothing but problems with it ever since we bought it.
Never recieved service, couldnt get anyone to call me back to get scheduled for service. I recieved several emails over the course of a week to ask if anyone had reached out to me yet, nothing more. They do not seem to have a concern for establishing, nor retaining customers. Likely because they have a monopoly in Savannah for Ford service, but Sylvania isnt that far down the road...
Mr. Eady was a pleasure to deal with!
Very friendly and professional.
Everyone in the service department did a wonderful job.
