After a 4 hour drive to start our vacation to get to the Hotel for them to say you are not listed as one of our guest with poor customer service. I am in the car waiting for my husband to return when I noticed the car doing something weird. I told my husband. We looked up the nearest AutoZone. As my husband walked up to the door he was greeted by a young lady Akerini T. She was very pleasant asking all the right questions to assure my husband how she can assist him with his assumption on the cause of his visit. Which she confirmed it was a battery issue with the tool that she used. She explained to my husband that he has a battery warranty. They walked into the building. Chase came out with his cart with battery and tools on top. We were out under 30 minutes. I personally got out the car and thank them myself for making this a pleasant experience for my husband. Akerini T. and Chase are all stars. They are keepers.

Store manager Brian O.I came in for lug nuts. Very simple.1st sold me the wrong item i had to return it2nd told me they didn’t have anything else. After I left and came back from a different location and they told me which ones i actually needed. I looked on the shelf myself and they in fact DID have what i needed.I don’t think it’s his fault because he clearly didn’t know but you would think someone working in an auto parts store, especially the manager, would know about something so simple.Note to Brian, LUG NUTS do not just go by the type of car but you can actually LOOK AT THE SIZE. M12... M15 for example. Also you should take the time to learn new things since you not only work at a parts store but manage one.
I went in for a light socket. The man asked me how I know and I explained to him that I have been changing the light every couple months. I ended up buying lights and when he put the light in he said something is wrong with the socket. He then said he would have to order the part but I cant buy it because I need an electrician to install it.

Exceptional service on two separate occasions at this particular AutoZone:I went in to charge my 2017 Mazda6 battery for the first time before a major road trip, and a no-nonsense team member saved me time (for free!) by first checking if my battery actually needed a replacement.I was able to trust this assessment because the man treated me with respect regardless of how little I knew about car parts. It was clear that my time was valuable to him, and that his work on the job was not a chore but a matter of pride.On top of this, when I went in for the actual replacement the next day (which could have been done the day before, but I was waiting for a deposit to clear), I was greeted by the sweetest breath of fresh Savannah air in a customer service representative named Ms. Sharon!Their cash registers were having trouble, and a worker had called in sick -- both super understandable. If it were me working there that day, my discontent and stress would have rubbed off on every customer in the room, and yet, I was treated like Id just come in for a glass of sweet tea on the porch while the understaffed team worked to get the issues resolved.They succeeded, changed my battery, and sent me off with a smile all under 10 mins time!I now feel 5x more comfortable with the process of replacing a car battery than I did two days ago -- all because I went to the AutoZone on DeRenne.As a customer, this makes me want to pay more for services in the future and creates a degree of brand loyalty which will be hard to shake for the rest of my life.They didnt do much -- these were relatively simple requests. The character, realness, & work ethic shown in carrying out those requests truly made ALL the difference.Thanks again to the team at the DeRenne AutoZone, just across the street from the Dunkin Donuts!👍
Women in the store Loushawda was very rude and wasted our time. Called to ask about a product and she lazily told us they had “so much of it she can’t tell me we have to come over and see.” When we got to the store she rudely pointed at a small rack that did not have the items we requested. Go to a different store they clearly have a staff training issue

I called Autozone this afternoon regarding some parts that were under warranty. The associate I spoke with on the phone was very polite and helpful. When I arrived at the store I was greeted by the associate and he began working my warranty transaction. When the associate stepped away to gather the warranty parts. I asked the manager Michael Evans if he had a pair of pliers so I could remove the oil line connector from the warranty radiator before it was shipped to return. The manager replied no I do not have any tools for you this is not a repair shop you should not be working on Parts here. Then he disrespectfully continued and said like a Chef cooks in the kitchen, this is like the grocery store you get what you need and leave. I asked Michael Evans if he had a loaner tool so I could remove the connector? He stated again in a very aggressive tone no I dont. So I then walked over to the tool cart sitting by the window and got a par of vice grips and began to remove the part. The associate returned with some additional parts. He then helped me stabilize and remove the connector and completed the transaction.I came back to the store a few minutes later and the Manager Michael Evans was standing in front of the store with another associate smoking a cigarette. He began staring into my vehicle. I dont appreciate being disrespected and berated in this manner at an establishment i frequently visit and spend my money with. This is horrible customer service on the manager part but I appreciate the assistance of the associate that help me with the transition. He should have been the manager with his professional alone.

Called ahead asking for a tool to borrow and they said they had it but i guess the guy never checked or the clerk couldn’t find it because they were telling me now that they didn’t have it. I guess their inventory must be messed up or something.
Went to have my battery replaced today and Sarah was helpful, kind, and professional. The entire process took no more than a half hour.
Brian O would not let me return the product upon opening the store, even after a warranty was purchased. This is terrible customer service especially from a manager. He told me to come back when he had more cash later in the day. The store was just opened! Return was worth $100 that’s it.

Horrible customer service at this location. Nobody at the front desk upon entry. Bought parts from customer service twice that didnt fit.When you work customer service its better to be friendly rather than cold and stand off-ish. The whole atmosphere felt hostile and uninviting. I wont be back.

The best, most helpful place in Savannah. Every odd little thing I need for my car. They will come out and look at it, tell you exactly what you need, and get it on right. Today I hit a curb and got my bumper a little crooked. MY HELPFUL salesman fixed it and told me where I to get somebody to put a pin in it cheap. He would not even take a tip. They even helped with a lawnmower once. Love this place !!!!!

I came in due to a bad battery. As soon as Terrance arrived he did assessments on two batteries. One of which was mine. He expeditiously sold me a new battery after proper assessment. He was courteous and prompt. It was rather warm out and he was the only one working on the outside.This was a great experience for me and exactly what I needed for my vehicle.
This is my best Auto Parts store, anywhere I at. AutoZone is the best as far as price, customer service, but if you dont like to wait, dont go here. You must be patient here, a lot of people come here so there is always a line,but its worth the time and the energy.
They helped a lot and quickly, the service was nice and quick we got in and out in 10 minutes. Something was wrong with my Fathers Chevy Truck, an employee looked at it and helped us quickly and sold us more fluid with ease. We needed quick help and they helped us and answered all of our questions.

Unlike the other Auto Zones in Savannah the staff at this location is very educated in car maintenance,tools,and parts.The staff was very helpful and patient with me in finding all the parts and products I needed to get my car running brand new. Cory even helped me find the right part after another Auto Zone gave me the wrong one.....You can tell when someone is passionate about what they do and it shows. This is my new Auto Zone !!!! I will be back...

Very helpful. They tested my battery free of charge and confirmed that I needed a new one. They put the new one in for me. Very accommodating. And the great thing about Auto Zone is that if you buy the warranty and need a new battery, you can go to ANY Auto Zone and get it - not just the one where you bought it!

If you know what you need or need car accessories, its great. Otherwise, the diagnostic checks are not always accurate, but they will sell you parts anyway. If the diagnostic check led to the wrong parts being bought, they will do NO RETURNS for anything taken out the box.
Friendly and helpful staff. They installed a new battery and had a good attitude even when the installation was a bit more difficult. I recommend this location.

I went here to by a small screwdriver with my 5 year old son. I couldnt find it so I went up to the counter and saw a employee. She looked at me from the corner of her eye and looked annoyed that I was going to ask her a question. Oh, by the way, she was eating a tub of ice cream. I approached her and said politely sad Excuse me, maam she instantly snickered and rolled her eyes obviously annoyed I was interrupting her snack at the counter. I then said, never mind and turned away. She did not say anything and continued to eat her ice cream. I found my tool and went to the counter were three other people were waiting. She then called me over to her register, reluctantly I went over. I bought my tool, I then said after the transaction, Sorry to interrupt you while you were eating your ice cream. She rolled her eyes and said, Yea, you have to get it in when you can.Whats worse- SHE WAS THE STORE MANAGER, HER NAME IS VICKIE.My visit was on 30April2017 at around 5PM.

Went in there to pick up some windshield wipers hand of the man cash and he had no change in his drawer and it was 1 in the afternoon when he did finally hand me some change it was all in nickels very unprofessional dont think Ill be going there again anytime soon
They dont know about parts I went there today looking for a 02 sensor for my 1990 GMC Sierra and the guy there ask me for my license plate,he said GMC didnt make sierras in that year. I was very disappointed,so ihI ha to go to another site.

AWESOME CUSTOMER Service! Manager Duwaun helped me out TREMENDOUSLY ! I came in at about 9:15, 45 minutes before their closing time to buy a headlight. I knew how to put it in but I was having issues. Duwaun stepped right in and didn’t HESITATE to help me! He went ABOVE and BEYOND to help fix my vehicles headlight problem, due to screws not being installed properly ! He deserves a RAISE! Thanks Duwaun!

Had a great experience at the Autozone off of DeRenne Avenue! I just needed to replace the battery on my Honda keypad and called the one on E Victory Drive. After being told on the phone that I can just come in and theyll take care of me, I stood in line for 10 minutes with other customers wondering why there were no employees around. Finally one of them showed up and after doing a quick search, they realized that they did not have the right kind of battery for my keypad. They didnt even apologize for making me wait or driving out that way. Luckily, I called the one on DeRenne & the rep not only did a quick check for my battery part, he gave me directions on how to get to the store & said the store owner will have my item and take care of me. Once I arrived, the owner had the item in hand, rang up my purchase, gave me a small discount (which I did not expect) for the inconvenience, switched out my battery and tested it on my car. All in all, I spent no more than 5 minutes at the store. Next time, Ill be coming right to DeRenne Autozone. Youve kept a customer and made her happy. Thank you.

Talked to ben on the phone he was the only autozone that replaced the wiper blades on my freightliner.... I went to the store and he helped me out.this time I was stranded with 2 dead batteries on my f350. we replaced the battery and check engine light came on he checked it and gave me a print out.it had a vacuum leak Then he told me how to fix it with Lucas gas cleaner and some tape. I asked him if he knew any mechanics and on a Sunday. he took a look at it and tapped the air leak and I was amazed on the fix. It worked! Ford was asking for 1200$! This store here is the one I will keep going to he knows his stuff. Thank you autozone.
