If you are visiting Savannah, this store is a must-visit stop during your trip. Dinosaurs, dragons, life-sized replicas of animals (such as a hippopotamus!), Egyptian gods, and all kinds of other eclectic emphemera and baffling bric-a-brac fill this building. Theres plenty to peruse without being overwhelmed. Mr. Portman makes sure there are exciting exhibitions around every corner. In addition to the large pieces, be sure to check out Mr. Epsteins Corner of the Universe full of quality stuff in the back of the store. Visitors will find postcards, books, and other interesting items. Both gentlemen are gracious guides to their domain. This shop is a gem!

Just wasnt for us. Maybe others will find what they are looking for here. Its been marked off the must see list of places to visit while in Savannah. I definitely wont be returning though...it was a one and done for me.

Took my wife during a weekend visit. Returned a few weeks later with my mother. This place is incredible. Amazing assortment. Also, importantly, this place has a ton of cool, affordable gifts. Like $5-$20 cool gifts - Unusual for such a store. Huge pirates statues, dinosaurs statues, paintings, collectibles. Owners (or whoever working there) were super friendly. Must visit.

This place is hilariously awesome. You can, for real, buy life sized dinosaur sculptures. So much weird and cool stuff. The owner is a grizzled old picker, and hes a great conversation. Talking to him is worth the visit alone. Plenty of parking. New stock comes in weekly so I check back often.

Totally one of a kind store in Savannah and a decades old must see destination in the city! This new neighborhood location really easy to find and free parking! Tell owner Greg we sent you! Be sure to check out Catholic Cemetery across the street and of course Bonaventure up the road!

Always a blast to visit. Greg, the owner, has set the bar! Whether you are looking for a tea cup, an ornate 7 foot credenza or a life size dinosaur - he delivers. Be prepared to spend some time when you visit. There’s a lot to see. Well worth your time.

We were at the Catholic Cemetery across the street and I notice a huge dinosaur! Absolutely unexpected. So we head over after snapping a few more photos to Universe Trading Company. The place was awesome, packed with vintage goodies, antique furniture and crazy stuff like a life size pirate! And a lion. And a hippo. And yet more dinosaurs . They had great furniture for what may be the best prices to be had in Savannah.There was a fascinating bottle collection, jewelery, smalls. Great eclectic array.We scored a wonderful vintage fan that doubles as an endtable and works perfectly, some lovely pieces of jewelry and a few miscellaneous goodies as well.Go! You wont be disappointed. Youll have fun and are unlikely to leave empty handed.
