LOVE this place. So kind, quick, and upfront on what to expect and cost. Felt heard, taken care of and NOT taken advantage of which is an awesome feeling in the auto world. Far too often people tack things on and they did the opposite. We plan to go back next week for other small jobs we have been dreading because of always getting roped and pressured even lied to about 10 other things needed instead of just being able to trust the one compliant is being honestly handled at a fair price. This is also maybe my 3rd ever google review so that tells you this place is worthy!

Warning: MISOGYNISTS. I am a young woman interested in cars and enjoy learning about how they function. I’ve done a variety of repairs on many cars and have had great success. I pre-warned him I would like to repair it myself and only want a diagnosis ($75). They’re in the business only for the $$$ and will say/do anything to make you believe you are incompetent. He doubted my abilities to do it myself and kept saying “yeah ok, you’ll prob come back to us, yeah I don’t think you can do it yourself” all the while scoffing in my face and laughing it off. Read the owners responses to reviews, theyre rude and will give you a taste of how you’ll be treated. I ended up doing the repair myself and it turned out beautifully. NEVER DOUBT A WOMAN’S DETERMINATION, ABILITIES OR STRENGTH!

I’ve been taking my car(s) here for the past 5-10 years and, without avail, have enjoyed nothing short of honest & pleasant service. As of late, I have introduced my girlfriend - who drives significantly more than I for work - to Gary and co. She feels beyond comfortable servicing her vehicle here monthly after years of underwhelming dealership service. Hands down, VCC offers the best service in town; I highly recommend them to any and all in need of diagnoses and/or routine maintenance.

I was charged 825 for spark plugs and starter. The car broke down on the way home from the shop, as it started running even worst from when I dropped it off. Took it to another shop, and was informed that I was definitely ripped off. Shame on you victory car care for taking advantage of people during these already tuff times.

He mechanic left our car unlocked overnight and we were robbed. When we asked about it they laughed and told us they leave cars unlocked so that they dont have to replace windows. They also recognized the robber by name and face so it must happen often.

They messed up my brothers front right tire! Its was on purpose because when he called and said his tire was flat, they said oh the front right tire. My brother never said which tire. And he had two brand new tire put on by them. Just TRASH. I wish I could give them no stars.

Worst shop in Savannah. They use the cheapest parts and charge you 3 or more times what they paid at auto zone or some.place like that. Had a exhaust system installed. They not only left the center exhaust support bracket off they threw it away. I made a complaint over a month ago. Gary told me he would find it. I have had no response from him. If you are looking for a place that uses the cheapest parts and way overcharges and will also leave OEM parts off your car and throw them away. This is the place. I will never take my car back to them. All the work they performed must now be redone.

This place is absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!As a female, I assume Ill be overcharged and swindled when I go to a mechanic, but this place actually gave me a reasonable price and even fixed some quick things for free. Great staff. I needed to have my throttle body replaced on my truck. The staff took the time to find the right part and made sure that It was sufficiently working the right way by following up with me after service. I was quoted way less than the dealership and other competition.

Ive used their service for 5 years and have never felt that I have been gouged on price. Their work is fine -- Ive never needed to return for a follow up problem, which is what I expect from any good mechanic. The moment that made be a true believer was watching the manager take the time to phone another repair service that did faulty work on a customers vehicle then over charge them for it -- he called them out and they returned the payment. It was truly an on your side moment.

I shredded my timing belt - pretty much the death knell for cars like mine. The guys at Victory Car Care were able to fix it for me, take care of some of the collateral damage, and even did me a favor and fixed some electrical problems while they were at it. I was kept up to date on the entire process, and my car went from almost totaled to better than its ever been in three days. I wont ever feel the need to take my car anywhere else. Extremely courteous as well. Fantastic!

Excellent honest and fast service

I was there earlier this week because my car had died the day before, so I was getting my battery tested. They told me my alternator was broke, and needed replaced and said my battery was fine. This didnt make sense to me because I have a very nice car thats only 5 years old, and have never had any issues with it. They gave me an outrageous quote, so I took my car to another repair shop where I found out that my alternator was actually in perfect working condition, and my batter had just gone bad. Do NOT trust these people or take your car to them! They are dishonest, and will rip you off.

I called the shop and they were going to charge me $800 to put a fuel pump in, so I just got on YouTube and found out how to do it myself and other people in different locations was charging me $70 so you do the math its easier to learn and shop around than pay $800 for a simple task as a fuel pump. nothing is fair about the price because even when I tell him I have already have the part he said he cant use it. So 2 thumbs down from this guy 👎🏿👎🏿

This is the most honest car center in Savannah. Twice they could have taken advantage of my situation but they didnt. I will refuse to take my car to any other car care place in Savannah.

AWFUL. If i could give zero i would. The service was terrible. They did not know what they were talking about with my model car. I had to go up there three times and twice in one week because it was still giving me problems. I took it to the dealership and was told there was a leak in something they had fixed and they put the wrong type of coolant in my car so I would have to get it flush it out and ended up being charged another $400 for their mistakes. When called to tell them about their wrong doings they were rude and would not admit that they did not know what they were talking about. If your car has a problem other than a basic oil change i would not recommend going to them because they try to guess and fix what they think is wrong, but does not actually know what is wrong.Update: this was two years ago but I thought it should be reiterated after seeing a response from the owner. I came in for a new battery and to get my alternator checked. My car was not holding a charge. They said it was the fans staying on causing this and I’m like okay that makes sense then the next day my car died again and I had to come back and pay for a battery that I needed in the first place. Then all the sudden after they “fixed” whatever they thought might’ve been the problem for my car dying, my car started over heating. They did not fix a leak, that’s correct since he stated that in a comment, they were the ones to CAUSE the leak that I had to get fixed at the dealership. The mechanic at the dealership said that if I would have came to them in the first place then that would’ve never happened to my car. To this day I make sure to discourage everyone to go to this place.

Was going to be overcharged somewhere else, so I called around town. Victory Car Care took me in that same day, and because I knew the problem they set to work immediately. Was charged so so so much less than the other place for parts and got my car back in a few hours running perfectly! Unfortunately less than a year later the same problem popped back up in a different city. When I got it checked out, the other car place said that the last pipe that was used to repair the problem was not meant for the long term. I got it replaced again. I wish Victory Car Care had used the correct tubing the first time. Still a good, fast, cheap experience but not long lasting.

The mechanics here were instantly able to find the issue with the A/C. Id taken my VW earlier to the VW dealership. They gave me a fairly long list of tests Id have to pay for including diagnostics on the climate control module, checking the filters. These guys checked the blower motorfirst, diagnosed that as the problem, replaced it and charged the A/C within 4 hours. It cost about $200 less than the Dealership would have.These guys are very pleasantly uninterested in milking you for extraneous stuff once they get your car in. They are willing and happy to fix it and get it back to you.If it was an option I would put 4.5 stars because the blower motor was more expensive than it probably had to be. But, that should be only a half star deduction. They had it in stock and it’s unrealistic to expect them to shop multiple suppliers for the lowest cost on every part.And I still paid less than I expected to.I highly recommend this business.

I urge anyone who is thinking about going to this place to find some where else. I have patronized this business a few times as well as referred others but this last time I chose their services really showed how unprofessional Gary was, these people have advised for services to be done on 2 of my cars that I had to take back to them after they were suppose to be fixed but then they wanted me to pay for their constant mistakes. Then falsefy information on receipts to try and cover their actions. I just really dont want anyone to spend their hard earned money with these people who will purposely misdiagnosis or either they are not educated on actually fixing vehicles.

Do I have to give it a star? I had a flat tire on the road and saw the building so I pulled in. It was after 6 p.m. and they were closed so I called an Uber and called them first thing in the morning to let them know that it was my car and I would be there asap to bring a key for repair. At first I was happy because they filled the tire for me as they could not find damage. So I asked them to perform an oil change and top all of my fluids. When I picked up my car they had neglected to reset the change oil status to 100% and the windshield fluid wasnt spraying a normal amount so I drove back into the parking lot and asked the mechanics to please reset my oil gauge and top off the fluids. The guy didnt know how to reset my car and when I popped the hood I didnt see that the fluids were topped off. I popped my trunk and filled steering fluid and oil myself. The mechanic said he had put in windshield solution but I showed him that it wasnt spraying. So he pulled out a tool from his back pocket and broke off the sprayer bracket from my hood. He said he was trying to unclog it and that he would have to get a price for me to have it replaced! A different mechanic had to go in my car and was able to reset it in two seconds but walked away from the scene of the breakage. So we went to the manager who told me that it was my fault for talking to his mechanics and that I would have to pay for any damages because it was broken before I had my car serviced. A service call starts at $59.95 to be seen he tells me. Then he turns to his mechanic and states that since my car needed repairs BEFORE I dropped it off that I will need to schedule service... THIS IS WHERE I REALLY STARTED TO SEE RED... I began to interject that I turned my car back into the parking lot because the gauge was not reset as is standard procedure after an oil change and my windshield fluid was not broken beforehand, I had to refill my own fluids when I paid for service and I am taking time away from my work now to check that all is serviced and this manager raises his voice at me to say that HE is talking to his mechanic and I am lucky he worked on my car and didnt tow it away in the morning. Bringing my car now to be serviced at a reliable garage. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE STATION AGAIN and if I spoke to a client the way he just spoke to me I would never expect to have repeat business.
