Really good selection and lots of parking but always a very long line and prices seem a bit high

So expensive. I bought a 60 dollar frame for my jersey. The frame was made so cheap and started bending in a couple of weeks. If you need basic art supplies just go to dollar tree mall or target. Great customer service

I love all the different kinds of fabrics to choose from. Whenever I’m there I end up spending more time and money than I thought I would. It’s like time doesn’t exist because I am just browsing through all the different items.

Joanne has a very wide fabric selection and great deals on shirts and other fabric specific items. Similar to Michaels in terms of craft selection but a little lacking. Toy selections were actually phenomenal. Would recommend for fabric specific hobbyists, crafty people stick with hobby lobby.

Not a lot of workers working the fabric station, I actually put back my fabric and didnt make the purchase because there was one person working the station and 11 people in line with multiple bolts of fabric each. Unfair to have only one person try to handle all of that! Selection of fabrics and Halloween decor was great, as are the deals. Love the new themes they came out with this year! Store is always very hot so be warned!

I always shop Joann fabrics they have a large variety of fabrics, craft supplies, storage containers plus home decor.

They have a wonderful selection of craft supplies, but they are also considerate of the handicap people and have availability of a scooter to ride for people that cannot walk.

They have everything you need for art and grafts a little on the pricey side but if you want different choices and good quality you pay a little more.Overall very happy with my purchase and customer service is amazing.

I found the guy behind cutting material today 11/29 was rude and rather obnoxious. My 5 year old grandson was complementing him on his Profesional Cutting skills several times and the guy ignored him. He also made a snid comment about me standing in front of the friggin line in the floor rather in back of the line.

They had a great deal on tshirts 5 for $12 but I couldnt find any of the colors or sizes that I needed

Love Joanns, found what I wanted.

When the pandemic started I orded something and in less than a day got a message to go pick it up. When I arrived there I called the store, the person who answered the phone was very, very, rude. Didnt ask anything about the order, the first thing she said was why was I there since all the orders were backed up 3 to 4 days, then she asked if got an email, I told her I got a text message. She didnt even check, just huffed and said I wasnt supposed to be there. Minutes later she comes out with my order. I would like to point out that throughout the whole thing I was being polite and patient, and she was acting like I was an inconvenience.Again on May 12 I ordered again something, on June 11(1 month later) got an email from Joann asking to review the products I purchased. The interesting thing is that I never got the email to go pick it up. So, I sent a message to customer service and they told me they were going to check the status of my order. June 18, 7 days later I get an email from the store cancelling my order because they didnt have the items.I am definitely done with Joann Fabrics.Rude employees at the Saugus Store, and the whole experience was discouraging to say the least.

Sadly I’m forced to put one star but this company deserves no stars. I’m so disappointed how they do business. On May 1st I order one of the sewing machine that they had in stock for Mother’s Day to give to my mom because she has wanted a new sewing machine for the longest time. They sent a confirmation and everything. Now on May 5, (4 days later) they are saying that they can’t complete this order because they don’t have the product. I don’t mind it arriving late as long as it is coming. So thanks to Joann Fabrics I have to disappoint my mom who has had a tough year that she won’t be getting that sewing machine that she was very excited for.

Ordered a few flowers to make a flower crown for a photoshoot. 2 weeks later and I still have yet to receive an email to pick it up. Im extremely disappointed.Dont get me wrong, I totally understand the struggle with COVID and all, but the items are in stock AT THE STORE. The majority of the business that this store gets is for fabric, and they are like 99% out of stock of any fabric. So I dont understand why its taking more than a week and a half for my small non-fabric order to be ready.

Very rude employees. Worst so far I’ve ever seen. I dealt with the same lady twice and she gave me extreme attitude and yelled at us for no reason. “You can’t park in fire lane” while I was being dropped off so my husband can go park. What the point of curbside when you literally have to walk to the door but that’s not the point. I understand the pandemic but I ordered for curbside pick up on 5/6/2020 and now so far I haven’t heard anything from that store. I ordered from Joann.com for pick up in Billerica store and the items were ready to pick up same day. I’m never going to the Saugus one ever again.

Not just a craft store but more. From artificial flowers/foliage huge selection of fabrics, all kinds of trim, notions, fine scissors, yarn, crochet hooks, knitting needles, plain t shirts for transfers, plus the transfers, quilting supplies, upholstery fabric, patterns, shall I go on?? ok,... cake decorating supplies, wood crafts, glue guns, glue sticks, holiday decorations, buttons, even wooden darning egg (in case you need to fix a hole in your socks ;-) . Great coupons! Sign up for their notifications on sales. Did I mention beads/charms and jewelry making supplies?? Whew!!! Just come and see it all.

On May 24 the floral section was still closed. The employee who checked me out was clueless as to if it would reopen the next day with the MA restrictions being lifted.

Rude a** old ladies, do not recommend going there at all. I rather cut my own fabric then ask one of these people to help me, they look miserable never went in there and had a good experience. Go to Micheals .

Well-stocked store and pleasant male employees, however the women at this store are very unpleasant. I have tried this location multiple times over the past year and it doesn’t matter the mode of communication-over the phone or in person, they have a distinct attitude that the customer is 1) bothering them if we have a question 2) in their way when shopping 3) even MORE bothersome if we dare to bring the coupon mailer and want to use more than one applicable coupon.The last time I was here about 6 months ago I wanted to buy a sewing table. There was a sale advertised for an in-store purchase of this item. I brought a photo of the advertisement, the physical coupon, and the SKU and item numbers. It took an immense amount of effort to buy the table as advertised for this store.I moved here from another state and have NEVER encountered female staff who seem to dislike their jobs at Jo-Ann more and want to communicate that to the customers. People who walk into Joann’s skew on the happier and more pleasant side of customers because we’re excited to create something-we’re not in line at the DMV...There are plenty of other jobs at a similar pay rate that I am certain they could switch to if being at Joann’s causes them this much consternation.

Great place to get fabric. They always have % off deals going on. If you sign up with your address, theyll send you coupons in the mail. Their app has coupons also, and if you spend so much money, you earn money towards anything Im the store.

A crafters delight. Fair prices and a dream selection of fabrics, but thats not all. They have everything you need when the holiday rush hits the other craft stores and you dont want to wait in a big line.

Strong scent inside the store make my head dizzy, but I go because my wife likes it. Also no Apple Pay, so bring actual card or cash.

Huge!!!!! Plenty of parking but the sign is after where you should pull in so keep your eye out.This place is huge and has TONS of options! Youll almost certainly find the fabric it yarn you need or want. Its just so big. Ive gotten lost in here.. literally. Need a map.Wish there were more cashiers, especially since if you did order to pick up you have to wait in line and it can be a while.Also be careful with having fabric cut, there is this one lady there who ALWAYS cuts crooked. Its pretty annoying..But otherwise great place. Crappy location, rt 1 though.

Hard to get down the aisle with a wheelchair. I had to back up them. Hard to find staff and stuff. No coupons at the register. Senior discounts are on certain days only.When I checked out I got attitude from my cashier.

They have a great selection of fabric and other craft items. Its probably the biggest local Joanns in the area. The staff can be a little hit or miss with how helpful they are but more often than not they can answer questions or direct you to someone who can.They built this store about 5 years ago (old store was torn down) and didnt include a classroom area. The closest Joanns if you want to take classes is on the south shore which is unfortunate and the reason Im giving this store 4 stars.

Joanns Fabric in Saugus, MA is like a supermarket 4 crafts. U will find just about every craft material under the sun there. The prices are good...just make sure u use the Joanns app coupon(s). Theres always an applicable coupon so u never pay full price. I bought a few yards of great upholstery fabric, at 50% off that Ive been eyeing 4 months. But beware...u will spend more money than u intend 🤷

Had a good experience during a morning visit at Jo Anns Fabrics. Was able to find a floor associate to help me find what I was looking for as well discuss instructions on a particular jewelry kit. I suggest going during the day. Evening floor shift is nonexistent and if lucky to find an associate ...not helpful. Go during the day time hours if you need help with something.
