Val is a great consultant and helped guide us to our price range for a beautiful engagement ring! My fiance expressed she wanted something simple but elegant and something fitting to her small hand profile and Val knew exactly where to take us and only showed us rings that werent going to stress us out in price. Really enjoyed our experience!

The ladies that work at the UTC location in Sarasota are absolute angels! My aunt purchased a necklace for my birthday and the chain ended up breaking a few days ago. I brought it in to them today and the store manager Laz replaced the silver chain for me on the spot! My necklace means the world to me and I’m so thankful for and appreciative of them and their dedication to what they do. Every experience I’ve had with this zales location and it’s team has been nothing but exceptional! If you have any jewelry needs, PLEASE go see them. I highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed!

Zales is Terrible.cuistomer service non existent ( on hold for 15 min before giving up)chat is worse..agent didnt have a cluebought my wife a ring in Dec 2020. Stone fell out.Website states that even WITHOUT A PROTECTION PLAN the store( SARASOTA/UTC MALL) would inspect, and give an estimate and a reasonable time frame for completion--they could not be bothered doing ANY of those things!!!!DO NOT SHOP AT ZALES---DONT BE STUPID LIKE MEdoug tsarasota

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Laz and her team at the Mall at University Town Center. They are top notch in their field and will work hard to find the right ring that also fits your budget. I was very nervous and overwhelmed trying to find an engagement ring for my fiancée. Laz took the time and care that was needed in that situation and worked hard to find me a beautiful ring I could also afford. My wife (she said yes!) is in love with it and shows it off every chance she gets. I have been coming back for over a year and the great team there always welcomes me with a smile. My wife and I couldnt be happier and they have definitely made a customer for life.😁

Terrible service here. Went in and was approached by store manager who said she would be there to help me next. Well she didn’t she went and assisted another customer who got there after me. And seriously how could you forget you said that to a 6 month pregnant woman. I was only there to have rings examined. Pre existing customers don’t get any help here. Every time I go in they make me feel as though I am an inconvenience to them. I would not recommend zales to anyone. The staff was very rude, Also let me add this was on Mother’s day weekend.

I came in here looking for a men’s wedding band. Very helpful staff. I found a ring and the young lady that helped me put a ring guard on it cause it was a little big, so I could get married. After I got married I brought it back the next day to get it sized, which she recommended a silicone ring temporarily till my ring was sized. My wife was very happy with the recommendation. Thank you. We will be back.

Zales was wonderful. I went in to have a bracelet repaired and the sale lady was great. She gave me excellent service.

They were very helpful in choosing jewelry for my mother-in-law whos very particular about jewelry. They were very helpful to stay within our budget. They were practicing social distancing. They were all very professional. Thank you you very much for helping me and my wife with the selection.

Bought an engagement ring here. Was told it was new. Diamonds fell out of the band 3 separate times and were replaced. Finally paid $1500 to upgrade to a “better ring” I was assured this would not happen with. Guess what? Diamond fell out of the band a 4th time. Cheap cheap cheap trash product.

Went to Zales twice this week, both times was acknowledge by staff immediately and given prompt attention. There was a challenge trying to find my warranty information but they did not give in and send me away. Very helpful and exhausted all means to help me out. Didn’t get the name of the first sales person but Laz helped me the second time and she was great. At the corporate level they need to better track their lifetime warranty info but all in all very pleased with the service I got.Thank You staff at UTC in Sarasota Florida

We had an issue with one of the pieces of jewelry we purchased as well as purchased the warranty that they sell and we have on all our jewelry. My wife took this ring into the store and was treated very bad and like a second class citezen by someone who claimed to be the assistnt manager stating her name was Laz. We are not sure if this is even her real name because her name tag was turned backwards and she couldnt read it. My wife had to deal with her twice in person and she was rude to her both times. Now lets talk about the poor quality of the ring and how they fixed it several times in less than a year and they try to tell us they are not going to fix it even though we have a lifetime warranty. Finally they agree to replace the ring. My wife goes into the store to pick it up and this LAZ person tells her that they will replace it but we need to purchase the warranty again when she has to travel to the other store in Ellenton to pick it up. At this store they where much more helpful and polite they actually called corporate and was able to replace the ring with the warranty. I have spent thousands on jewelry with Zales but I will for sure be looking for a different Jewelry store to do business with in the future. This person Laz should not even be dealing with the public with her rude attitude towards a long time customer let alone be representing this company as an assistant manager.

We love the Zales Ellenton outlet, but UTC does have better inventory at times. Unfortunately their customer service is awful and incomparable to Ellenton. They are very rude and dismissive, we were totally patient when they were busy but clearly when the women were having bad days they don’t try to put on a smile for the customers. We stood waiting for about 10 minutes before even acknowledged to say “sorry we are short staffed be with you soon”. The Asian woman was extra rude, if you want to work in retail please learn to take a smile if you’re having a bad day and don’t take it out in people who just walk in your store.

Went to get a replacement chain for my necklace and mentioned that I had lost one of the earring backs to my earring. Laz was so helpful and kind, she gave me a new chain and TWO new backs, for free. Thank you so much for helping me out Laz!

Bought a diamond band and diamonds fell out several times within 7 months. They do replace them but do I have to keep doing this? It’s ridiculous. Cheap jewelry. Not set properly. Be warned.

We purchased my wedding set and his wedding band through this Zales. I picked a morganite engagement ring and later picked a band to go with it, explaining how I wanted to wear the rings together. This required soldering to get the rings to sit correctly but I was assure this wouldn’t be an issue. They ended up having my rings for over seven weeks as it kept coming back from the jeweler with problem after problem. At one point it was replaced, but that ring was ruined as well. It kept getting crushed essentially when they did the soldering. When they did give it back to me because I needed to have it for my engagement pictures and my wedding, it was a total embarrassment and had actually cracked. It was discolored and warped. Whoever did the work on my ring was incompetent and I couldn’t believe they would give this ring back to a customer let alone to wear as their engagement/wedding set. I ended up getting my money back for the set because I couldn’t even stand to look at it by the end. I would say my customer service experience was great but multiple times I was made to feel cheap for choosing the morganite ring rather than a diamond, like that was the problem, while the stone had nothing to do with why the rings were ultimately ruined. I will never shop with this store again.

Do not ! They will lie to you, overcharge you and treat you like you owe them ! They will place special order, assure you it will take them about a month to get it. Two months later they will provide you with zero info and no delivery date. Horrible ! It is too late now to order it somewhere else.

So I brought a ring here from a Zales in South Dakota to be sized. Hubby purchased as a 20th anniversary gift. Cognac diamonds (round) with clear diamonds (baguette). Per their protocol, they took intake photos. After a brief delay, went there today to pick up. Well, neighbors, it was NOT THE SAME RING. Even their side x side photos show the difference. Stones set differently (cognacs SMALLER), ring significantly lighter in weight. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? What kind of scam is this?????? I owned the ring for nearly 2 mos before surrendering it for sizing. I knew this ring. SO DISAPPOINTED! We got a refund. Gotta start looking ALL OVER again. DO NOT shop here if you cannot take product home!

DO NOT APPLY FOR THE ZALES CREDIT CARD!! They do not inform you that if you do not pay off the full balance in a certain time that you will be hit with a HUGE interest charge. I owed $1,800 on my card. Now i am sitting here owing, $4,189 for a Promotional to Revolving. The sales associate sells you the card like its a normal credit card. BEWARE!! SCAM!!!!
