I have been a customer for more than 20 years. I have always found the owner and her sometimes helper to be gracious and helpful. There are some people who may consider the prices are high, but, those people have never dealt with transatlantic shipping costs (they are astronomical) and the cost of U. S. Customs. They have frozen items that one can find nowhere else in our area like haggis and bacon (not like ours at all). Plus they carry a huge line of sweets and other delights. I will be a customer as long as they are there.
Great store for all things British
Awesome place for all things celtic and Scottish in the Tampa Sarasota area
All the wonderful treats and candies that you grew up with
Whenever i crave some goodies from home i go here. Great selection of the staple items plus at the holidays i can get a Christmas pudding or Mince Pies.
I love this cute shop for a taste of home.Very well stocked and always fresh. I’ve purchased clotted cream, scones, biscuits, marmite, piccalilli, Branston, baked beans and much more!
The Ladies there are so very helpful and they have a lot of very nice Scottish and Irish things. for me its a bit far to drive but its well worth it! 💚💚💚
Nice little Scottish store. Massive cans of haggis, they offer kilt rentals, and its the only place in Sarasota that I know of that sells Vegemite. You can also buy tickets for the Sarasota Scottish heritage festival here in advance. Easy 5 stars.
Always love shopping here!!
Have to come shop here occasionally to get my fix of British foods. Apart from some Quality Street, I got some pork sausages. Steak pies, pasties, etc. All good stuff.
Lovely shop. Well stocked and very friendly.
Vacationing in Sarasota, and being an ex-pat, was actually looking for fish n chips but found this place instead when googling !! Spent around $50 on English goodies but i would suggest that anybody going for food items check the expiration dates on the items you pickup. All 4 bags of crisps i picked up were expired, one of the items was over 8 months expired (sadly that was the first bag i opened (scampi fries), and they tasted stale, and was alarmed to see the expiration. I do agree that the items are expensive, ive been to other UK food stores, and this is far more expensive than anywhere else ive been.
Totally biased, I am Scottish and purchased numerous national items. Pies, bridies, sausage rolls, bread all the foods that we are brought up with. Many other items for purchase which you cannot get . Well worth the visit.
I used to love it. Sent back an item for another color size. Told me it was on the way. Called today told they gave me credit. I was waiting and waiting for the item. Got a stick pin. It broke. Sent it back. She told me it was sent back to Scotland. Said probably be a week. Waited called again maybe another week. After several week at least3 weeks. Told me still waiting dont know whats going on in Scotland. After I told her to cancel stick pin. Seems like she arrogantly said I gave u credit back. And here I was waiting. After she told me it was mailed on a Tuesday. Husband isnt too happy. Not 1st time problems. And I was patient very patient. She credited the item back. Then when I called she asked do u want the size. After she told me it was credited back. I dropped them from 5 stars to 1. Im very disappointed.
Since being away from the UK, I missed so many things. Lucozade, real crumpets & clotted cream, sausage rolls, Irn Bru, mushy peas, Heinz beans, pork pies, Cadbury Roses, salad cream, & chip shop curry mix packets--they had it all. And the ladies who work there are so sweet. The items can be pricey, but as gifts or little treats for oneself, the price point can be managed. They have two freezers with the pricing posted for frozen items on the outside. There is a large selection of sweets & teas.
Owners are very friendly . Lots of British food. The best in the area. We travel 1.5 hrs to get there
Lovely little gift shop and snacks.
Awesome little store for all of your British cravings...lovely ladies that run it.
Bought many items from them here in Estes Park,Co at the Longs Peak Scottish Irish Games and have had wonderful experiences every time.
I have been shopping here since 1990 always great service and a large selection of my favorite British goodies
Reload every winter with all my Irish fry needs! Great black and white pudding.
Its the only nice place that sells English food, and some Asian food too. The owners are nice too.
AWESOME service and very informative ladies.
Keep calling and no one ever answers the phone!!
This store has an awesome selection of British foods, and the manager was incredibly friendly. Ill be back!
As far as I know this is the only place you can get HP Sauce in Sarasota. This store is the only store in north Sarasota where they sell Pataks. The only other store in Sarasota county that sells Pataks that I know of is Sahara. I believe this is the only place around this area where they sell traditional english sausages and other British foods. They have the widest selection of tea of any Sarasota business that I know of also they will order any tea for you. They can also order any British shows for you on DVD I know this because I had them custom order all of the Love Joy series for me. They sell the European versions of candy bars. Also when I was there today they have a very good selection of Indian pickles at very good prices. What I like about this place is they actually have a niche there one of only two places in the entire county that sells Indian supplies. I could keep going but I also wanted to add they sell english tabloids I believe one day behind the United Kingdom.
Over priced and staff were too stuffy.
Love it...
Love it.
It sells food from Ireland
