Great gifts, quotations, masks, glasses, wedding gifts, baby gifts. Hand made and unique jewelry. Emerson Quillen gift cards and napkins
Fun little store filled with beachy treasures! They have everything from home decor to jewelry. Great selection of items but it does get a little tight when there’s a lot of other shoppers in the store. I would go in the afternoon because around dinner time, I feel like it’s the busiest. After reading the other reviews, I was surprised… I’ve never had a problem with the staff and I’ve been in this shop 10+ times. I honestly think they are friendly and helpful but that’s just my opinion! Regardless, this store has wonderful, unique items.
I just love this place! Such cute stuff!! I’m from Atlanta and visit Sarasota several times a year. I visit this shop every time. The employees are so sweet. Never had a harsh word from them. They do watch what people are doing, but, people are so dishonest these days and they have probably had some issues with thieves. I don’t blame them to watch… just smile. Talk to them sweetly and understand they are protecting their store’s merchandise. You would too. (I hope). But they are always so sweet to me. If you need a beautiful gift for someone else or yourself, just stop in. You’ll love it like I do I hope!
I’m appalled that this magical little shop doesn’t have more reviews. It is always a highlight of my trips to St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota. I think it is one of the best gift shops for unique finds and good shopping.
This is a cute shop with adorable items however every time we stop in the staff follows you around aggressively. I would have spent more money if they would have given me space to let me shop and look. This is every time I have ever shopped here. There’s a fine but definite line between customer service and harassment. There are several other stores on the circle that sell similar items. I will stick with them from now on and avoid this shop.
This has been my favorite shop on the circle for a long time. It is full of interesting, creative, and unique items. Everything is expensive, so keep that in mind. They have jewelery, soap, candles, stationary, beach decor, pillows, kids toys and fun items, Christmas ornaments, wall decorations, books, etc. A little bit of everything. In the past I have purchased candles and hand lotions, they were really good quality but expensive. They also have a small clearance section on the left side of the store. I always check it out for fun finds. Also, the store is pretty full with items, so you do bump into people sometimes and can feel a bit overwhelmed.
We were followed around/flanked the entire time we were in the store. I detest theft too, and get security, but get cameras and watch them instead of making my wife and I uncomfortable to the point we left and didn’t buy what we wanted to.
Beautiful store with an array of eclectic gifts. Abigail went above and beyond with her friendly manner, helpfulness and exceptional customer service! Thank you!
Purchased several glass dragonfly art pieces...love this place!
Great merchandise! I found a pair of sandals that are so comfortable, I bought a second pair for a friend!!
Ive been into this shop twice and it is just full of tons of amazing things! I also was given great customer service. It was a really busy day and the employee took time to show me a product that I was interested in. This is my new go to for Christmas, wedding, birthday, ect gifts!
I go to Sarasota every year in March & April. I love Siesta Key Beach. At dusk it is incredibly beautiful. I will most definitely return!
My impression is the owners might not be completely upfront and honest, and heres why: I was in there Mar. 15 and purchased almost $300 worth of merchandise, including a wall hanging for approx. $63. I live out of state so needed them to ship that to me (shipping around $30). They told me to expect it in about 10 days. As of Mar. 31, I had not received it and no email notification that anything had been shipped, so called the store and asked to speak to the owner. The clerk said she was there, and to wait one second. I could hear a muffled conversation, and the clerk came back on the line and said the owner was not in, but that they would call me the next day. Still no call by the next early afternoon, so I called again. The clerk said the owner was in the back room, and gave me that number to call. When I called, no one picked up. I left a message, explaining the situation and stating I was supposed to get a call today and had not heard from anyone. Around 4:00, I received an email from FedEx that a package from them was being shipped. Shortly afterwards, I received a voice message from the owner, stating he had called that morning, but only got a busy signal. My phone either rings, or goes directly to voice mail, so that was a LIE. There were no missed calls from them; he simply had not called. He said something about overlooking this order, apologized and said the package has now been shipped. Of course, its possible he could have overlooked it, but I dont believe it at all. Read the reviews about these people...seems like they are only about making a buck and dont care much about the customer. I believe it was intentional not to send it, in the off-chance that I may have forgotten this purchase while on vacation. Its a win for them either way, so in their minds, they dont lose anything by trying. I wonder how many times its worked for them?
Great items but horrible customer service. You are either ignored completely or repeatedly bothered. Forget paying in a timely manner...antiquated pen/paper system along with employees being VERY rude, no apology for the wait, no thank you, no eye contact.
Quality gift shop on the Saint Armands Circle.Highly recommended!
My Daughter and I love this store!! We always make it a point to stop in whenever we visit St. Aarmands Circle. Store is full of colorful and whimsical one of a kind gifts . So much to look at and touch and take in. literally FLOOR TO CEILING. Store is jam packed, cannot fit a stroller through the whole thing...but we love this store and the staff are super friendly and there to help or answer any questions you have.
My husband and I visited this store a few days ago while vacationing and the owners arent very welcoming. We purchased a few items only because they were unique; however they were overpriced.
One of my favorite stores on the Circle to browse. It has a sort of sophisticated whimsy that I appreciate, and just makes me feel happy.
This place is so amazingly beautiful. Perfect, quaint, very Sarasota. I love there babies clothing all the beach decor.
Love this place
Amazing - everything my wife loved about the store she can still obtain, as the ladies so kindly text photos & mail the items she selects. We can still have a little piece of Florida fine crafts from Garden Argosy, no matter where we live!
If you like to feel swarmed, than go in. Within the first 2 minutes of walking in, 4 people approached me asking if I needed help. Left immediately
I sent this to you in a private message 8 days ago, but you never responded.I’ve been in your shop many times over the years and spent a good amount of money with you. On my last visit, I spent over $300. Tonight, I ask you for a 20 percent discount on some discontinued Spartina items and told you that they were discounted on the Spartina website. Your husband’s response was that “ they own the company and can do whatever they like.” Well guess what, you own your company too. I am also a small business retail owner and if people show me an item on the internet and want to buy it from me, I match the price. Although the profit may not be as much as what you may normally receive, in my opinion, it is not worth offending a customer for a small discount. Instead of telling customers “you don’t like people showing you internet pricing and playing that game” you may want to revise your response. It is not a game. It is a real fact in consumer relationships today. Perhaps my business really isn’t worth it to you. I won’t be visiting your store again.
Beautiful store. I love the themes in the window!
The best shop on St Armands, the store is amazing for special gifts as well as home decoratingNever miss shopping there
Ugh. OVERSTUFFED and OVERPRICED. I shopped elsewhere and had a much better experience.
My favorite store on the circle!😍
The staff smothers you, the price point is outrageous and you cant move it so over packed
Very nice gift shop for browsing. They have a lot of nice decorations and other ideas.
