Terrible all the way around how can you run a business if you cannot make a phone call and talk to the person you spoke with yesterday in person? How can a store that big not have a landline ? To be on hold for 45 minutes to be told that the storage do not have phones is absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible customer service. All employees are rude and arrogant. Orders lost broken or bent. Cant ever find account. Insane how unorganized they are for being such a big company. Only buy here if you have NO OTHER CHOICE. Would steer clear if at all possible.

Superb experience today. Came in to purchase some wire connectors and and electrical tape and the man taking care of me was patient enough to answer other questions I had about other tools I wanted to see about ordering. Will definitely be back

Despite all the negative reviews, I decided to take my business there anyway due to an urgent matter. I was in need of a multimeter for a job, as mine took a dump that morning. When you arrive, they make you wait outside for COVID safety measures. When I was finally let in, I headed towards the wall with the multimeters but not before I was stopped by the female employee. She asked me how she could help, I simply told her I just need a multimeter. She looked at me confused, and told me to wait by the help desk for the other employee, while she helped out the customer behind me. I waited for about 10 minutes, staring at the multimeter that I needed before the male employee asked how he could help. I told him too that I just need a multimeter, and he finally let me grab it off the wall. I was confused by why I had to wait at the desk for permission to grab the multimeter but I’m assuming it was because the female employee had no idea what a multimeter was. Nevertheless, I purchased it, but ended up not using it and having mine repaired. I returned just a couple of hours later and explained just that to the female employee and telling her I’d like to return it. She took the multimeter and receipt and told me I was good without handing me anything in return. I asked if I could get a copy of the receipt, since it was a near $500 purchase, to which she refused and told me, it wasn’t even going to charge my card. I asked if I could have a copy anyway and once again, refused. Further explaining there is no receipt because it hasn’t charged my card therefore it’s like I never bought anything from them and she can’t provide a receipt for something I didn’t buy. Not wanting to argue, I left still skeptical. When I got back to my truck, I logged into my online banking to find out they did charge me. At this point, two other customers arrived and I didn’t feel like waiting outside for another 10 minutes. So I called the customer service number and was explained that she never started the return process and that they’ll have to contact the store to verify that I did indeed return the multimeter. I waited a couple of hours, and went back to the store to verify that they got my situation squared away. They told me they did, with little explanation, almost like I was an inconvenience and felt rushed out the door with once again, no copy of the receipt. Thankfully, customer service provided me with a receipt after calling again. Finally, after almost a week, I got my refund. This entire situation left a sour taste in my mouth, everything from the employee’s lack of knowledge, the, in my opinion, unnecessary, extra COVID measures, the employee refusing to give me a copy of the receipt, having to call customer service, and most damning, the employee not starting the refund process prior to me leaving. Still not sure what she was waiting for or planning to do, the entire thing is fishy in my opinion. I share this experience not to deter potential customers from conducting business here but rather warn you if you happen to have a similar situation and hope management will read this and take initiative to turn this place and it’s employees around. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back anytime soon but I sincerely do hope to return in the future and have a far better experience.

They lady was very nice and helped me. Had a problem and tried to go back in and had to deal with another man who is a terrible employee. I will never take any business to this branch. I should have read reviews first. Its hard to make picking up something a hassle but he did.

First time using Grainger and I was wildly unimpressed. The guy at the counter was rude and it seemed like I was inconveniencing him. They keep the doors locked and make you wait outside until the one person inside gets done.... Not my kind of service. I won’t be back.

This place is an absolute joke the guy that helped me knew absolutely nothing about plumbing parts..... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IT IS A WASTE OF TIME THERE IS ANOTHER COMPANY SOUTHERN SUPPLY CO THAT IS BETTER........ at this store the employees are not only uneducated on there own products but they make no attempt to help you find the piece or pieces that are needed. IF THE COMPUTER CANT TELL THEM WHAT IT IS THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING AT...... after grainger I went southern supply co and they knew exactly what I needed without a computer telling them.

I called on a Friday around 2pm. The phone rang twice and went to voicemail. The voicemail said they were helping other customers and if you needed a call back, please leave a message. I left one and did not receive a call back. I was hoping they would have a safety item in stock that we do not commonly use, but I needed so I could do a big job on short notice. I called back nearly two hours later and got the same voicemail. I had to refer the job out. I was very disappointed. A company of this size should have their customer service and phone systems down better than this. Ive also had issues with them in the past not calling when items I have ordered arrived there. Their prices are normally higher, but I go there so I dont have to wait for things when I need them in a pinch. Very frustrating.

ZERO stars. You can walk into an unbusy retail store and be ignored significantly by both store personnel.Save both your time and money by taking your business elsewhere.I had the displeasure of dealing with Sad Sally Pruna. She is very important as everything else in existence orbits around her (?). Unfriendly, uninformed, unknowledgeable, and sadly not up to the task of SERVING the customers at Grainger.

Have used then 20 times or so in last couple years. Granted, their Customer service is not great. Ive had to wander into storage area to get a clerk to checkout. But i dont rely on them for information. I do my own research, order on line and pickup when i get notice. For me they r a convenient place where i can order something, then pick it up. Right now Ill be ordering a submersible well pump.
