Just Because is one of my favorite stores in Sarasota. I love being able to buy special gifts for myself and my family. Barb the owner is always so helpful to work with.I purchased this Nora Fleming egg plate that has mini decorative pieces that can change with each holiday session. I got 4 different minis. Prices are very reasonable and merchandise is always changing.

I love this store! A family-owned business that represents a variety of American artists. Its a great place for gifts and home decor, and I especially love the fun serving pieces. Barb will give you terrific advice on gifts for any occasion and price point. (Of course, I love to buy gifts for me!! I found the most beautiful -- and unusual -- clock there. Its one of my favorite purchases ever!) Its also a place where I feel safe shopping during Covid -- the glass store front retracts to allow outside air.

The Representative was following me and my significant other through the store and everything he looked at she was behind us watching and touching every item, also she did not greet us upon walking into the store and greeted others.

Wow! What a beautiful unique store. I bought the sitting giraffe and the giraffe drinking bowl along with the most adorable hedgehog toothpick holder. I also bought the Ocean scented sanitizer spray. It smells so great on my hands. I’m always looking for different pieces that enhance my home and I just love them! The owner is so sweet, friendly and knowledgeable! Her artistic choices and selections from jewelry to bakeware are many one of a kinds! I love everything about her store. I highly recommend stopping by. What a cute shop on St Armands Circle, and just a short walk from the beach. This is a great place for unique gifts for everyone! It was so nice to receive a warm welcome from one of the owners (Barbara), who allowed me to shop freely, but was available to provide great recommendations and tips on their products. They have gifts priced to meet any budget, and wrap them with care. Excellent small business, that is a perfect fit for the Circle.I found so many great gifts from wonderful Artists that, I had to stop in again before leaving town. 😃Add this to your list of must see locations!

My favorite place to shop! Lots of unique jewelry and home decor in every price range. The selection is always changing so its fun to go in often to see whats new. Great place to shop. Our little pup was with us on a vacation and he was treated like family. I found the perfect apron for my mother in law. and a few trinkets and things for my friends birthday.

I’ve been admiring their items for quite some time and decided to go ahead and place an order. It was hard to narrow it down since there were so many goodies to choose from! I worked with Barbara via phone and not only was she super friendly but extremely helpful in finding the perfect gift. She was also very knowledgeable in all their products. Will definitely be shopping there again!

Before stores were opening back up for customers I needed a special gift for my sister-in-law. I love Just Because and have been shopping there since it opened. I love the variety of artists that it represents. Owner Barbie and staff are great and so knowledgeable. Every time I shop in the store the sales people and the owners all seem to go out of there way to be so helpful. I love the idea of purchasing my items and having them shipped so convenient.

Lot’s of unique items at various prices- some local artists and many are made in the USA. Barb has been posting items/ videos online and on Facebook, which is so helpful when looking for gifts. They are so happy to help with ideas and ship items for you if you don’t want to go into the store- just call. I love this place!

In need of a gift? I was. It was Easter and Passover 2020. Cant get any better than picking out a gift at home! Just/Because just upped its online presence. Barbara Pugliese did a fabulous presentation of all the beautiful and unique items for sale for the Holidays...which included gift wrapping and shipping directly from the store...no visit necessary. She continues to entice me with new items each time I visit her site. Ill be calling again soon for sure.

You will not find mass produced giftware made in China as you would from big box retailers. The owners offer impeccable customer service. They have a passion for what they do and it shows.

Just/Because is great for gifts and to find hand made products. I have purchased many gifts from Just/Because for two reasons, the items they have are great and so is the staff. I will go out of my way to shop here because of the customer service they provide. Not to be cliche but if i could give them more than 5 stars i would.

If you haven’t visited Just Because in St. Armands Circle you are missing something special. The shop is full of unusual gift items and beautiful jewelry. Every time I visit I find something new. My granddaughter always makes out when I visit in their selection of children’s items. Be sure to add it to your must visit list when in the Sarasota area.

I have been to this place three times and it is my favorite stop in St. Armands Circle. They always have little curios and art objects that I have never seen anywhere else and they are reasonably priced. I have no trouble restraining myself at any other store in the circle, but this one is my kryptonite. If you are looking for a unique gift for a friend or relative, this is the place. The pictured art piece, polished glass and metal, now adorns my wall, my only regret that I did not buy two. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. The place is well worth a visit if you are out and about in the circle.
