On Tuesday October 26th I brought my 2018 Dodge Ram 4500(wrecker tow truck) 70k miles with extended warranty at 7:30am for multiple issues abs/traction light, scrapping noise driver front, faulty gas gauge, incorrect pin 4101 for key coding and oil change.I was told by my service rep(Tonia) oil change $180, deductible $100+ tax and shop supply.Later end of that day I had a call from tonia saying gas issue is not covered and it will cost around 3 hours to remove tank+part and labor to install a new sending unit(I declined) then parts for brake issue is out of stock they have to order it and truck will be ready by Wednesday.Wednesday I called Tonia by the end of the day to pick up the truck and get working with it, I was told part didn’t arrive and they have to keep it for another day, when I asked to pick up the truck until parts arrive, she said I will have to reschedule and pay for deductible. The next day I received a TEXT from Tonia that my axle nut were found broken and they don’t have it in stock so it will be another day.I went to the dealer and asked to speak with service manager(Richard borers) he wastage only one and he was not there so I had to wait for him. When he showed up I explained that’s a business truck, everyday it’s sitting at their shop it’s costing me money, also axle not wasn’t broken and was never touched. At first he denied it then he went to speak to tech and came back and admitted, then he said well these are 1 time use anyway if we are replacing the hub we have to replace the nut too. When I asked since these are 1 time use and you are replacing the hub why you did not ordered it on Tuesday? He blamed it on the parts department.Unprofessional, no communication and terrible attitude, I asked what can he do for me to help me out and he was like nothing I can do hopefully your truck will be ready by tomorrow. This dealer don’t care about customers or their time, careless workers beware if you go there for service!!!!
Dropped off my challenger hellcat to get tires and an oil change, it was very rainy when I dropped off my car. I always reset my top speed and take pictures of my cars rims and odometer before dropping my car off for work. When I came to pick up the car, I found out that the tech was driving my car 31 mph over the speed limit in wet conditions which is completely unnecessary and dangerous for a tire reset. When I drop my car off for service, I expect the dealer to treat my car with respect and not like their own toy, especially in conditions where my car can be totaled in. I talked to one of the managers who at first did not believe me until I showed him time stamps of the pictures I took and even after that did not apologize and just said he would talk to the tech. I understand this dealership is under new management but this kind of service is unacceptable.Manager called me back, gave a half hearted apology and backpedaled saying he needed to go that fast to reset the tires. If you care about your car, get your service elsewhere.
Call Paul! Had a great experience. Everything was ready when I arrived smooth transaction to my ram truck and were really happy
A new car that was delivered filthy with sap or paint all over it and 250 miles that the bill does not reflect. and thay said i saw lucky i got the car and after speaking to jeep customer care and dealer telling to have me call them. thay would not help me. Never again i will buy a care there.
Terrible! Josh the whatever he is was not a helpful person at all they dont try to tell you the truth from the beginning and they wait till the very last minute after 4 to 5 hrs there to tell you you we cant get you in the cheaper car only the more expensive car that u cant afford! And they had no options other than 1 car what car dealership has no other cars??? THIS ONE AND ONLY THIS ONE! THE WORST PLACE I HAVE VISITED AND COMPLETELY DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER! VISIT SOMEWHERE ELSE NOT HERE IF U WANT FRIENDLY SERVICE AND OPTIONS!
Scheduled an appointment online for 12p, and showed up about 20 minutes early. Went to check in with an employee and was told my appointment wasn’t showing up in their system. This is the second time that an appointment of mine has been lost, and because my appointment was lost I was unable to have my car detailed as I had scheduled it to be. Then I was told that their complimentary vehicle rental while your vehicle is being serviced would be unavailable to me, even though with my appointment it was fully available. All of these are minor inconveniences, but the employees condescending attitude towards me was just the icing on the cake. Instead of asking for my keys, she walked away from me to get into my vehicle, and when she realized it was locked turned to me and said, “you have to give me your key”. I had not filled out any paperwork, been communicated with about the process, nothing. I would’ve appreciated being spoken to with some respect as another human being, I certainly tried my best to remain patient with her as she struggled to accommodate my very simple requests. I will not be returning again after this appointment. It’s always way more complicated than it needs to be, I could get better service on my vehicle at a much cheaper shop
Terrible experience here. The sales manager Andy Zion tried to make all my equity and tax savings disappear in the paperwork . It’s a shame that it’s owned by airport dodge now, they used to actually talk deals when it was sunset Dodge. Andy did the same thing to me years ago when they had him working at Lakeland Dodge. Andy lied to his own sales guy telling him he spoke with me when he never got the nerve up to make the phone call. The sales guy I met with was eager to get something going, especially after I was trying to give them some of my equity, it wasn’t good enough for Andy, he wants it all. Too bad Andy couldn’t do his job. They lost my business. I’m not getting burned twice by that bad management. Feel free to check my past review on Lakeland Dodge, where they pretended to be under new ownership.
Bob Wilkinson did an AWESOME job! From the time I got there till I left. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and really went out of his way to help me understand what was going on with my van and how to help me to find the best way for me possible to be able to fix it. I was extremely happy with the way everything went and was taken care off. Thank you very much.
I recently purchased a used car from Sarasota Chrysler. I asked them to run my credit 2 times to see what my options were. Now, I have NINE hard hits on my credit. They sales man said “the hits don’t hit HARD on your credit” .. YEAH OK. Of course I knew my credit wasn’t the best.. but I didn’t have to walk away from my current car loan. I will never do business with this dealership EVER again. I don’t like liars and I don’t think the reconditioning of my Vehicle was up to par. Look else where!
Domenic in service was awesome to work with. Explained the necessary service for the issue my truck was having and didn’t try to add anything else on. The service was completed ahead of time and a little cheaper than quoted. Changing to this dealership for my trucks service headquarters. Thank you again!
Took my truck in for a service recall. The check-in was easy, the staff was very nice and while on the lift, they found 2 of my brake lines were leaking. I authorized the repairs and came away a very satisfied customer. I even received a 10% discount for being a first time client!
Priced a Grand Cherokee vehicle online through the Jeep website, including lease payment calculator (again, on their own website). Went to the dealership to see the exact vehicle I priced out online, and the quote they gave me was over $200 more per month! For the exact vehicle I priced on their own website! Needless to say I will not be purchasing from these guys. Very unfortunate experience.
I had my vehicle towed in to check for a whining noise. There were severe shifting problems so I decided to have it towed (at my expense) to the dealership. I expected it to be a transmission problem but was surprised to hear that it was an idler pulley problem. I was pleased to think that I was in the wrong because of the cost that I thought Id have to pay, versus the cost for what the supposed true problem was (the idler pulley). After paying $580.21 - aside from the idler pulley, I paid for an oil change, tire rotation, engine air filter replacement and a cleanse of carbon build up from throttle body, intake manifold & valves - I drove off the site and heard whining but the shifting was ok. Then about 5 miles in, the whining and shifting became worse. I impeded traffic and limped my vehicle home, since I was closer to home than the dealership. I checked the invoice and was surprised to see a note under the MPI stating, possible trans problem loss of prime code stored. The MPI was never addressed during and after the work was done. Instead, the invoice states that the technician listened with a stethoscope and found the problem was the idler pulley. I was surprised to find that the technician did not even bother to test drive the vehicle before diagnosing the problem.I called the next morning (service was closing at the time I picked up the vehicle). I explained my findings with the service advisor and she was surprised and apologetic. I told her I was not driving it back to the dealership, and that they needed to find a way to get it back there. She called me back after 3 hours and said that her manager approved a tow back to the dealership at their expense. Later that day she texted me that it was the transmission and gave me an estimate that I was expecting the first time I had the vehicle towed in. She said her manager would credit me $500 so instead of a total cost of $4757.76, the repair would be $4257.76.By then I was fuming. I arranged the vehicle to be towed to AAMCO. They correctly diagnosed the problem the first time and I ended up paying $3844.57.I saved $413.19 on my transmission repair by going to AAMCO, even with the $500 credit that was offered by Sarasota Chrysler/Dodge.HOWEVER - I did not save anything! I paid for an unnecessary repair @ $214.15, plus TWO tows, which came to $225. A total of $439.15 was unnecessarily wasted by my decision to bring my vehicle into your dealership. The thing is, I thought I was doing the right thing because my van is a Chrysler so obviously I thought the dealership was the safest and best option. I was wrong.I will seek compensation for my loss.
I cant say enough about Sarasota Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Sarasota and my Salespersoon Colin Hunter. Since 1996, Ive leased 7 vehicles form Colin, but last year I bought a new 2020 Jeep Cherekee Larado. Ill always drive the extra 30 minutes to get great service.
These people are frankly thieves! I was charged almost $600 for a thermostat replacement that should be under $200. I explained to them that due to Covid related unemployment it is a bad time to over charge me at this time. The manager could not have been any more nasty and straight up rude and unprofessional! I would stay far away from this dealer. It is too bad because Jeep makes nice vehicles, but the service I have received leaves a lot to be desired! I feel 💯 robbed!
There is such a negative stigma associated with buying a car and working with a car salesman. I am so excited to shout from the roof tops, that is NOT the experience I had with Bob at Sunset Dodge Chrysler Jeep. I was greeted with a smile and a proper elbow bump and Bob listened to my wants and needs without once interrupting and/or offering anything outside of my requests. He even went to the point of making suggestions to save me money. Not only did the sales process go well, it was a smooth handoff to Marcus, who helped us in the signing and transferring of the title. As soon as you walked into his office, his larger than life personality was coupled with an infectious smile, allowing the signing process to be not only easy but enjoyable. Your dealership is stacked with true professionals that obviously love what they do! Great job Marcus and Bob.
Truly exceptional staff and service crew. The handled my vehicle with care and even follow up just to make sure everything is working well. A big thanks to Tonia who was able to set up an appointment for the excellent service that my Grand Cherokee received! Thank you SunsetDCJR!
Bob Peters was awesome! If you need a vehicle this is the man to see. Down to earth, not pushy, helpful, informative and friendly. Cuts right to the chase, no bs. Very happy with Bob and finance manager.
Bought a new 2021 Grand Cherokee from them. Very nice staff. Happy with the purchase and salespersons. Good website too.
They did a fantastic job they put tires on my dads car for me a friend of the family works there so and he paid for them hes like a brother to me good people
Seriously, this is what car buying should be like. Not only did I get a great deal on my new Chrysler 300, a fair trade in value, a great interest rate on financing plus a much better extended warranty than on my previous purchases but my salesman, Nick Arkoette made the whole experience entertaining and quick. If you want to buying a car to be like it should be, ask for Nick and prepare to be happy. I would recommend everyone to buy from this dealership. Thanks to Barrett for the great financing, as well!
I have to say a HUGE thank-you to David a Service advisor. We were having a tough time with our 2015 promaster city. We needed new tires, but no one had the master lug nut lock key. Luckily David did! not only did he put new tires on, he got the old locking lug nut off, checked our van for the new recall (which we didnt even tell him about!) put a new, non-locking lug nut on and a window cowl we desperately needed all for the same price they wanted at a local tire store for just putting 4 new tires on, not all of the extras! The car was sold to us as a dud in posner park, fl. These guys helped us so much, get our car together and make it look so much better! David kept us informed every step of the way! THANK YOU, DAVID! From the bottom of our hearts, as a small business owner, we really appreciate it!!!!!!
Best car buying experience I’ve had in a very long time. This includes both the Sales and Finance departments. Truly honest and straight forward people who are genuinely willing to help get you the best deal. I highly recommend reaching out to William Wagner. Since I live in Miami, he was able to make the car buying process as simple, and straightforward,as possible. Unlike many other sales associates at other dealerships, Bill didn’t play games and worked very hard to get me the best price possible. Hell, he would even send me updated price breakdowns before I could even ask him for them. Bill and Sunset Dodge have won a loyal customer in me and I would gladly make the 8 hour round trip again just to purchase from them in the future.
Honestly, everything was amazing. Craig and Barrett treated us like family. They answered all of our questions and always had time for us. Though I never was thirsty, they were quick to ask regularly if I needed water. I appreciated that. By the time I left, I felt secure in my purchase and knowledgeable in the workings of my new Jeep.
Sunset DCJR is a top-notch dealership & #1 for their excellent customer care! From the Sales Dept. to the Service Dept., Sunset always provides outstanding customer service, which includes assessing the issue with your vehicle, making timely repairs, & getting you safely back on the road. I would definitely recommend Sunset DCJR !
I recently leased a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Sunset Dodge. My sales Consultant Nick Arkoette went above and beyond to help me lease my new Jeep. Nick is beyond personable not your typical “sales” person. He listened to my needs and has great communication skills. He was determined to get me the exact deal I was looking for! He even went the extra mile by coming in on his day off to help me finalize my lease. Nick changed my experience as a single woman entering and an auto dealership. The entire transaction was pleasant and smooth. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone who is looking to lease or buy at Sunset Dodge.
Anthony is parts is great! He was able to get me both batteries my car needed, when they were outof stock everywhere! Service department in general is honest and friendly. Jolene who gave me a courtesy ride home while I waited for my car to get done was super sweet also. Highly recommend!
This time the experience was superb. I pulled up, was greeted by the my advisor (Juliana Bugatti). We reviewed the problem with my stereo, which has been an issue since I bought the Rene a few months ago. The same tech worked on it, and narrowed the problem down within the hour. Juliana called me directly, they found the problem and needed to order the part from Orlando. She said the driver door is apart, they could give me the car back or hold on overnight to install new part. I told her to keep it. Next day the part was installed, and it was a half day due to Xmas Eve. They left the vehicle out front for me to pick up. Repair was warranty work. It was detailed, locked with the receipt on my dash. Also the young lady driving the shuttle was outgoing and smiling the whole time taking me to work. Great job and thanks, made my Xmas!
Steer clear of their service department! They are about as useless as useless gets. I brought my 2019 Fiat to them for an oil leak they tell me there is nothing wrong with it. I literally had puddles of oil underneath the car. I traded that vehicle in on a 2021 Jeep Gladiator I have 1,900 miles on it and the vehicle drifts and wanders in its lane I bring it in to service and that is fine to according to their service department. I’m curious to know if they find any problems here.
4 stars for the initial scheduling attempt to remediate my auto concerns which quickly fell apart upon arriving for my appointment.1 star for being poorly organized, inadequate communication regarding expected costs, opportunistic diagnostic fees.1/2 star for the disgustingly dirty transport vehicle.
Very nice employees. Waiting area is excellent. Quick service and did not try to sell me extras that I dont need. Will definitely use them in the future.
Had a service emergency on my vehicle during the weekend. Arranged for tow to Sunset Chrysler. Service advisor contacted me to tell me they received the vehicle and to find out what the problem was. During the couple days it was there, there was regular updates via text on the status of the testing and repairs. Once complete, was able to get a shuttle ride over to the dealership where I settled up and was on my way in no time. Great service, friendly and courteous staff. Going to continue to use Sunset for my service needs
I bought a vechile at sunset dodge and are very pleased. They had a no hassle approach which helped me decide. We enjoy their excellent continued service. Sunset was around when I was a kid and I remember my parents buying vehicles from them.. A well run business with lots of caring professionals.
Very helpful and received the service we needed. The was given to us very clean. We also received a very nice ride on the car. The service from the bank man was great!😀🤓
My spouse and I just want to give a HUGE thanks to COLIN HUNTER and Mr. Barrett for making my 1st experience in buying a car, a breeze. I have known and worked with the dealership going on 2 years now and just from that it was a NO BRAINER to give Collin a call! He was ALWAYS so friendly and such a gentleman and i was astounded as to how quick the process actually was. He helped us find a car that would fulfill all of our requirements and put us in a vehicle that have my wife and I feeling so safe and stylish! Just a huge huge huge HUGE thank you to Collin Hunter and Mr. Barrett and ALL of the wonderful employees! :)
Reception is miserable. Whether calling to schedule a service appointment, or a vehicle purchase appointment (seriously), the voice that answers is miserable. I’m putting them out just by calling.
Outstanding new Jeep buying experience. Mark V was outstanding, and finance was quick and efficient. Best buying experience ever.
Kindness, Professionalism, and Respect should be placed with bold font in the personal file of Service Advisor, Juliana Bugatti. Many people hear, but Ms. Bugatti listens. As a timely evaluation was done on our Town and country, a plan was implemented, and a resolve is eminent. She cared, She - Really - Cared..., this is huge..., this is what business is about, This is what we need in trying times. Our Lord said in Matthew, whatever you do for the least of your brothers you do for me...Well done Juliana, Well done Sunset, I look forward to our next visit.Kindest Regards, Gary
Clean environment. Excellent service.
Evans Lampos did a great job in making our buying experience pleasant, smooth and enjoyable! His follow up on the small service work we had done after purchase was most appreciated, as is the support of the owner of the dealership who is clearly committed to customer satisfaction! Weve bought many vehicles here and expect to continue to bring them our business!
From walking in at 6:20 PM knowing the dealership closes at 7 the staff was OUTSTANDING. My sales consultant Evans Lampos was knowledgeable and timely but I wasnt feeling rushed regardless of the time. He took his time getting me the information I needed as well as additional fun information about my new Wrangler. Evans worked quickly with the financing staff and they were able to get my dream car to financial budget. While completing paperwork with the sales manager Jim McCloy, it was welll after closing and again, I was not rushed- the he was so nice and helped us finish the paperwork while we were on the phone with the insurance company. He was very kind, respectful and patient. The paperwork process was a breeze with Sunsets tabletop signature/paperwork technology. I received a copy of all of my esignature documents on a flash drive! Since the service and detailing department was closed, Evans gave me the phone number for Tim the detailing manager and explained that I could call and make an appointment to have my car properly detailed and that they would set up a dealer car for me so I could drop off my Jeep and be able to come back for it after work. Evans made sure I knew how to work everything and gave me a rundown with the keys and said I could call or stop by with any questions. The whole buying process was painless! When I called Tim to set up the detailing appointment he was very accommodating and got me in at my specific date and time with no problems. The detailing department was great. They pulled the dealer car around, opened my doors for me and explained the key and how to dealer car works. When I picked up my Jeep that evening I was again greeted with great service. Again opened my car doors, complimented my new car, informed me where they had moved a few items in the car to and they did a great job with the detailing. Overall this was the best car buying process Ive ever dealt with. Every staff member I have been in contact with showed the greatest customer service! The Sunset Jeep team went above and beyond and absolutely exceeded my expectations.
Ive been dealing with Sunset Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Fiat for many years now and cant speak highly enough about the professionalism of the entire staff. Tonia Duff kept in touch throughout the entire process with updates regarding the servicing. Mark, the service tech, did a great job analyzing the problem with my car and getting it back to me in a timely manner. Everyone at the facility is friendly, and the facility itself is kept immaculately clean. Thank you all for your help.
Scott was cool. I was only there to look at an Outback for just a second and he didnt fill me full of BS! I aint the female to be bullshizzed when it comes to cars. My dad taught me waaaaay too well of the exteriors Ander under the hood. So, I appreciate that he didnt screw around, cause Id seen through it. Now, gimme the deal I need and yall get a 5 star AND a SOLD VHICLE. 😁😁😁
They were done right when they said they would be.
My salesman Greg was wonderful. He listened to exactly what I was looking for, he did not pressure me and made me feel comfortable in my decision to purchase the vehicle.
Dropped my truck off at 730am. They never touched it until I called at 1 pm. I was told they were under new management. I had to come down there and pick my truck up with out it being repaired, wasted entire day. Now I have to take my truck to Venice dodge dealership for repairs.
Made apt week ahead. Show up on time I ask them will my truck be done today I have to use it next day. they say yes its minor stuff and Ill call ya when done today. I wait all day till 5pm no call I call they say truck not ready we over booked and did not touch your truck. Can we keep it longer. Key word they overbooked which is a failure on mgmnt. Wasnt the point of setting up a week prior to get in same day. idiots
I had an extremely bad experience with this dealership. I am in the market for a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and they had one on their lot that is what I am looking for. I am trading my vehicle in and have done my research and know how much it is worth. Their initial offer for my car was $3,414 lower than what it shows. I understand the negotiation process and that wasnt the issue. The issue was when they said they couldnt give me the full amount for my car because it has had the hood painted. They ran my VIN number and it showed that my car has not been wrecked and they knew that it was a one owner car. They took me out to the car and pointed out something on the under side of the hood and something they thought was a speck of sand in the paint and something that looked like a chip from a rock. I told both the salesman, William Wagner, and the sales manager, Adam, that I didnt appreciate having my credibility questioned. They should have just said that they couldnt give me what I wanted for my car and leave it at that. I feel that this was handled totally inappropriately and very disappointing.
Simple 1st oil change for our Fiat Spyder 124 Abrath turned into a 3 day repair of the water pump. All was fine when I arrived but after asking why the delay THREE times 2 hours later I left in a loaner. Never returning will go to location in Ft Myers for next service. Lousy customer follow up & when a survey arrived via email site down for repair still. Sorry excuse for a service department after a great sales performance but service is too important for a 2nd chance.
Sunset Jeep was very fair and honest under what they did Quoted good people very honest recommend them highly
Ive bought 2 cars from them in the past. They usually give you a run around so I started buying at Firkins in Brandon.
Nigel sold our family two brand new vehicles from here last year. It was a terrific experience. He helped and answered all questions and was not pushy. Over the last year we have come back here for all our service to the vehicles. We will definitely be back when its time for another car.
I was in the midst of buying my car and had arranged for someone in their shop to take a look at my vehicle to get a feeling for the operation staff behind the dealership....my car got towed!!!
I was greeted promptly and professionally. Tonia answered all of my questions and concerns, and the whole service time took just about as long as I expected.
These people are amazing. The Service Department is top of the line, and do a timely accurate job, without all the pressure sales and BS as from other service departments at other dealerships.
The salesman you saw was great cant remember his name when I find his name Ill edit and put it in
Colin Hunter is fantastic! I have bought numerous cars from him over the past 20 years and have referred several friends to him with confidence. Very smooth process by the finance department as well. This dealership is awesome!
Great Service Advisor Tyler (cant remember his last name) very informative, friendly, customer service oriented, great guy and knowledgeable. Explains everything thoroughly.Other staff members are also friendly, polite, hospitable.I highly recommend this dealership for servicing your Jeep. This is my 3rd Jeep and the best place by far that Ive found.
I bought a used vehicle from this dealership and it worked great, until the forth day. The car wouldn’t start and I had just driven it back to my town from the dealership, about 5 hours away. I had the vehicle towed to a nearby repair shop and was told my water pump was cracked, the bms (battery management system) was corroded, my gas tank pressure would need to be corrected, and the battery needed to be replaced among other things. This repair was also cost me $1000 four days after I bought the car. The salesman who sold me the car offered to replace the battery to honor the 100% coverage 1000 mile warranty but told me unless I brought the car back to the dealership that was all he could do.
Brought my Jeep in for a warning light. Dominick was fantastic, listened to me, attended to my concern. Offered me a Uber or shuttle home. My tech Chris solved my problem by servicing a recall that cleared my warning light.Jeep was done, washed and waiting for me in under 3 hours. I hope Mr Osborne reconigizes these guys for their excellent customer service with a big bonus.
I would never buy a vehicle from them ever again
They were unable to finish the work on my vehicle before closing time so they put me in a nice rental car for the weekend at no additional cost to me. They also inadvertently charged me for a part under warranty. All I had to do was mention it & they immediately no charged my entire visit. Fantastic experience with Bob Wilkinson! Ask for him... you wont be sorry!!
Tire rotation and oil change. Fast and efficient, plus a free car wash. Professional friendly people.
I needed a tricky service job for my Fiat and had it towed in - I was assigned Thomas as a service advisor. He was extremely courteous and communicative - a professional. The car was done on time and $110 under the initial quote. I would highly recommend both Thomas and Fiat service in general, A+ experience.
The easiest experience I ever had purchasing a vehicle. We found the car online and Brian helped us over the phone (since we live 3 hours away). He helped us get a better rate with a different bank and encouraged us to make the jump! Once there Brian gave us a warm greeting and instantly started helping us and had us out in about an hour! Matthew helped us with the financing and legal doc signing and was very informative and kind. Such a great experience especially when we come from an area where the dealers act as if they are doing you a favor. Thanks again guys! Hope to be back soon for our truck!
Very efficient sales process; Bill Wagner was dogged in pursuit of meeting our needs exactly. No time wasted, just desired results.
Terrible management. My wife, baby and I took our Durango here for a simple tire patch because we bought the tire package and it took over 3 hours. Buy and service your car elsewhere. This dodge is garbageIs that all you have to say...? Your empty apology means nothing
Bob was excellent, a real pleasure to work with. Additionally, everyone we spoke to was very nice and professional. Thank you Bob for working hard to make me a new member of the Wrangler Tribe! ✌
Mr Dominnic Baptista was very helpful.Thank you
Robert Puls and the finance team were exceptional. I have had terrible experiences at other dealerships in the city, and could not be more grateful that I found sunset. Amazing customer service, extremely knowledgeable yet not pushy at all like other car dealership employees. Just such a great experience in general.
Sean Piscorik and Marcus Molaoo assisted me in my brand new lease. I was very impressed with the service they provided me. I am now a happy Jeep Wrangler driver thanks to these two guys making that happen for me. Car shopping can be very stressful and intimidating but Sean and Marcus made the experience painless and stress-free. HIGHLY recommend their services. Thank you Sean and Marcus for everything!
STEVEN, was well spoken, funny and professional! I backed out because they wanted 20,000 on a ram rebel (On top of a trade in valued at 27k when my highest amount Id put out was 15,000 CASH. Which is ABSURD. Thank you steven!
Great service..fast
The place is used to dealing with old folks and is focused on making high grosses.. No thanks
Ro Byers was personable, friendly, informative, respectful, willing to work with us on “the numbers,” & a pleasure to do business with. Thank you for your assistance! We love the Subaru Crosstrek Limited!!🤗🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍🏼
The sales team at Sunset Dodge-Chrysler made the car buying process quick and easy! I ended up with a new Pacifica and the process was painless. Great work, highly recommend!
Been driving Dodge & going to Sunset Dodge for 28 years. The service and people make all the difference in the world. Juliana got me in and out fast. She was very knowledgeable and kept me informed. The service manager Bob runs a tight ship here. The guy knows his stuff.
Not usually one to leave bad reviews but my recent visit to Sunset has left me feeling nauseous. My Jeep was having an issue with an extended crank when starting up. The very pleasant service technician informed me that I likely needed a new fuel pump costing over $1200 which included the part and the $149/hr labor fee (4+ hrs). After getting the vehicle back the same extended crank issue started again 5 days later, leaving me to believe the new fuel pump wasnt ever a necessary expenditure. The vehicle then needed to be towed back to Sunset, it took me having to speak with several employees before they finally agreed to pay for the tow only if they were responsible. After reviewing the vehicle a second time they noticed a recall update to an original recall issue Sunset fixed in 2015 for a fuel pump relay which the $149/hr technician apparently looked over. I am thankful they decided pay for the tow and snap in a new fuel pump relay free of charge, but cant help feeling like I was taken advantage of for questionablereplacement parts.
Great pricing, great salesmen, no pressure. Best dealership experience ive had.
Great Service experience! Fast and courteous before dropping off for warranty recall service. Same experience with the driver Bill that gave me a ride home and his cell phone number to pick me up hours later he was available in great time and upon return same courteous, prompt service. Oh and phone follow up at home during the lengthy no charge repair was quite nice as well! Only lacking ONE star due to the mother ships inability to provide (no reflection) Sunset Dodge a second separate recall part due to the part ...not being manufactured yet..?! Really? And no information whatever provided on how long might this part and subsequent repair possibly be in the waiting for. Meanwhile the suspected defective part that could fail and go bad can cause a fire 🔥😕Either way, great job Sunset Dodge!Update:Second return trip for recall and service was equally impressive! Right from the reminder phone call for the recall service to the drop off and pick up, all was another great experience! Thanks again Sunset!
Brian Smith is a true business professional and knows how to treat his customers. This dealership provides high quality vehicles at a great value. I truly have never purchased a vehicle so easily in my life. My wife and I are extremely happy with our new BMW and will definitely recommend Brian and Sunset in the future.
Smooth visit, everybody was very friendly and Juliana took care of my repairs as expected with no surprises. I am very satisfied, thank you again Sunset Dodge!
Great Customer Service. Very Professional. My service coordinator Thomas handled my work with great customer service as his priority!
Made the mistake of trying Douglas in Venice first. Sunset was able to resolve my problem quickly and professionally.
Best Dodge dealer ever. Knowledgeable sales and finance personnel; friendly parts folks and reception. I got a beautiful car at a killer price!
Joe in Service provided excellent customer service. We waited over 2 months to get the hard top and when it finally arrived not only did Joe keep in touch with me and get us scheduled ASAP, but he listened to me when I explained my frustrations with the experience. Not only did he listen, but he turned a frustration experience into a better experience. In the end, my daughter didnt get her Christmas present but she did get to pick up her new jeep (with hard top) on her 20th Birthday! Thank-you
My granddaughter dropped off her Ram 1500 which she just got. It came with an airbag recall. She need an oil change, so we decided to have them do it at the same time. We also asked them to fix a couple of other things. I was called to tell me the truck was done and they has estimates for the other stuff (which was out of stock). When I came in to pay I expect the service manager to go over the items and tell me what else they recommend. He just said go to the cashier and pay. When I go to Ford or Honda they go over what was done and any recommendations or safety issues. Like they want you to come back. I didnt even get a hello.Small local mechanic will get the Dodge from now on. You blew it.
Absolutely wonderful experience with this dealership. After months of searching for a particular Jeep Wrangler I finally found it at Sunset. I’m in the Tampa Bay Area so it was a 1.5 hour drive for me but it was well worth it! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The salesman, Bill Wagner, was so genuine and not pushy at all. Straight forward without the hard sell or bait & switch routine. As a first time buyer I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Bill & Sunset!
Bought a 2020 Grand Cherokee last month. Love it! Juan, my salesperson, helped me out in every way and worked a good deal for me. I drove away feeling great about the entire experience.
Great salesman (Mark Vrancken) sold us our 2018 Jeep Cherokee. No pressure sales guy... just a great believer in the product. Jeep was not my first choice, but fell in love with it. Fast forward to almost a year later and had a serious problem with the service department. But to the dealerships credit, they were very committed and concerned for customer care, and they made everything right! That goes a long way in my opinion about integrity. Dont hesitate to shop here!
Got a new Jeep and couldnt be happier. I was skeptical because all i seen was good reviews. Well after my visit i see why. This isnt your typical bully pushy snake salesman at other dealerships. I worked with Colin and he was the most patient person i ever met. He literally spent his whole day with me making sure i was 100% satisfied with my SUV. They give a fair price on Trade Ins. My biggest compliment is the no BS approach. They tell you 100% what they want out the deal and what they are giving you. No shady back door lets add stuff on during the paperwork garbage. I definitely will be back when its time to buy a new car. You all have earned a new customer.
Straight forward purchasing with a knowlegeable, professional team. This was my 6th Town & Country (now Pacifica) purchase sine 1984, but the first with Sunset and Bob Peters, my rep. It was for the studios corporate vehicle so several delearshiops were shopped. Great experience. No high blood pressure and NO surprises. Seamless delivery with Bob explaining the ins and outs of a VERY hi-tech vehicle.
The people are always friendly and I like that they never try to sell me on unnecessary things, as other places have in the past. I also liked the complimentary car wash because it saved me time I was going to spend washing it later that weekend. I could have maintenance done at shops closer to where I live, but I always go to the dealership because Ive had the best experience with them. :)
Very prompt attention to my issue. Shuttle to my work place and back when service done. Updates during process great! star service department every time! I bought the Jeep Wrangler here and I would buy another one here. And They have built a customer for life relationship here..... Joe Spratt is my go to guy in service. He is professional in every aspect and you couldnt ask for a better representative for Sunset Jeep and the whole Chrysler Corp.
Hope is his name but Chuck is an amazing customer service sales person. His way to comunicate, deliver the message, explain everything speaks volumne. Hope others salesperson are like Mr. Chuck even we didnt purchased the car there he text us thanking us to give the opportunity. Person like him makes company shine.Thank you Chuck, Uzziel & Christian Lay
Toyota really screwed me and my mom over. We were left with 10 grand in negative equity, the car was only worth 11 grand and 25 grand was still owed on my 2015 Toyota Camry. On top of that, my mom was paying 700 a month, needless to say we were desperate to get away from Toyota and get out of that payment. I called around and finally got someone at another dealership who actually cared and wanted to help even though at the time I had no money for a down-payment to do a trade. The person I spoke to was Sean and he was incredibly helpful, he told me ways to lower the overall cost owed on the car and how more money can be put towards the principle of the car. Anytime I needed advice he always helped. Once I had the money to put a down-payment down for a trade in, I went to see him. Hes so kind and thoughtful and tried everything he could to help. I ended up getting a car from Ford because I didnt have to put as much money down for the trade and the payment was less than the one we had at Toyota. Even though I went with another dealership, I felt I needed to write a review of Seans wonderful customer service! My advice for people is stay clear from Toyota, we had issues with 2 Toyota dealerships and their finance department. Either go with Ford or Dodge. If you go to Dodge ask for Sean!
