Bought cabinet hinges in Orlando and needed more for my Bradenton home. Called Richelieu thinking I was getting the Sarasota location. In reality calls are directed to Orlando. And I was informed the Sarasota location is for contractors only... No cash-n- carry walk-ins are welcomed! The Tampa location will sell to us non-contractor types but Im not driving 35 miles one-way. This is not good customer service!!! My cabinet hinges upgrade will have to wait until Im back in Orlando on business. 😐

The front desk was very polite, there was a bunch of carpenters there getting stuff. I was there just to look at knobs, they explained to me that they are a wholesaler but they could still sell to me. He said he couldn’t help me design the look but I found some that I liked an gave him the item number from a clip board he gave me. When he finished with the customer he gave me the prices and I choose the best one. He told me it wasn’t in stock so I got upset but then he said it would only take a day and he could even ship it to my house!!! All in all it was a great experience! I’m so glad they were able to sale to me cause they have great quality products 😊😊😊

Bad service

Staff VERY rude. They acted like they didn’t want you to be in the Showroom, they wouldn’t help, just tried getting you out the door ! Why have a Showroom if you keep getting directed to the Internet by the Staff?

The staff was barely civil to me and unwilling to help. Only by insisting they take me to the part of the store where they had cabinet handles was I able to locate what I was seeking. Poorest customer service I’ve experienced in a long time.

Busy with contractors nit still accessible to the DIY crowd. Find unusual cabinet and building supplies.

The employees here, prior to the new owner, had a slightly condensing attitude. Like they were above you. The new ownership got worst, I hesitated to even go in the place and I was a customer, basically from the very beginning of the original Cabinets are over 38 years. Its no surprise that its now moved to a new place where they dont have to deal with walk ins

Went into the store for the first time to look for door hardware. Was looking around at the displays for over twenty minutes, and no one even acknowledged that I was there. Not a Hello, Welcome, or May I help you with something? The two people who were covering the customer area out front walked right by me several times. Totally ignored me. Unbelievable. If I owned a business and someone came in for the first time, I would go out of my way to greet that person, even if I were busy, to let that person know I would take care of him/her as soon as I finished with the customer I was serving.I will never go in there again.

Except, that they didnt have the hinge WE wanted, moving to a new location nearby.
