As a whole, even the kids in the front bagging and checking out Lincoln was 1 of them. It really was a pleasure! The store was gorgeous. I thought to myself 2 things 1. The management is stellar especially at hiring and 2. Why go anywhere else?

Ordered subs on the mobile app and they were not ready when we showed up to pick them up after the scheduled time and the women at the deli did not seem like they had ever made subs before. They were nice, but they asked me how to do everything... which I obviously do not know. They took so long to make one of my subs that I watched two people behind me in line leave.

One of the great stores of the great supermarket chains in the Great city and great location.Well suited to support food, pharmacy, and other items for gulf gate and Siesta Key.Plenty of beach items and picnic stuff for a day at the beach. Large deli and hot food section.

I liked this public, its food at the food bar is very tasty and a wide variety to choose from. I got some for dinner and it was delicious.

Not excited. Used my own checkout and had gallon bottles of water didnt have a hand held scanner cord so I had to lift out of cart and turn on side for 3 of them. Not happy about that. Iike just using the check outs where I do it myself. Oh well

Publix is a very decent grocery store in supermarket however their prices are not competitive with other stores like Detweilers nor Costco. I tend to shop at all three stores getting most of my produce from detwilers and large and bulk items from Costco. However the former dont stock all of the grocery items that one might need in Publix tends to have everything else I want

Decent prices, all things have been raised 10% in the last month however, one of the first I’ve seen raise prices, still one of the cheapest options however.

I eat at Publix everyday. This public deli makes the worst subs. I asked for extra lettuce she was irritated after literally giving me a pinch and then spread everything around and clumped it up on the side. I will avoid this Publix in the future. This is not the first time Ive had similar issues usually just dont complain.

If you are used to your Kroger Plus Card, be prepared to double your grocery bill. I easily spent $500 on groceries for the 3 of us for the week. Get groceries at home and stick them in a cooler!!

Prices in certain items went up by 100% yet they play around the tags saying ..( you save this much ) avoid this ones upon a time your local gorcery store ..its all driven by greed ..they shut down the butchery department. thats how bad they got ..they cant even sell decent amout to keep it open ..seafood ? No comments ..ghost area with sad offerings..their bakery is a joke too ..they lost soo nuch business . as a local i am no longer going there ..this store is a convenient store ..grabb 2 items and goo when you are stuck ..deli sabdwitches went bad too. Avoid there is local store near by half the price better quality

Its a nice place, its not their fault to an extent, but the prices are way too high two candy bars for $4 is just too much $2 a piece thats too much for candy bar correct me if Im wrong maybe I saw it wrong maybe it was two for $2 and I just thought it was two for four dollars what a sad State of affairs.

Busy store, however, the busier the grocery, the quicker the product rotates, which means if you want to do a large shop, go to this store! The goods you buy will not expire for a very long time compared to other locations!

I went to get some lunch and I got the fried shrimp now this is the third time I got the shrimp and it was ice cold and over cooked. Very nasty and I only work 5 mins away from there . This what it looked like and cold.

Didn’t think I’d ever leave a review for a supermarket but wow these guys are phenomenal. The cart greeter was over the top nice (sorry no name) and mark at the deli have us top notch service. Seriously blown away. Give them a raise! Checkout was fast and helpful. Obviously well managed and full of good people.

Is Public slipping and going greedy?This location has no where to sit.I wanted a cup of soup and sandwich but there was no place to sit down..Do they expect you to sit in the parking lot?The Deli is doing away with a free deli meat or cheese sample slice.They used to be my hero’s.Now not so much..No wonder so many other grocery chain stores are moving into Sarasota.

I have been shopping at this Publix since I was a kid and it was across the street at Southgate. I’m very disappointed in the way the employees are dealing with the pandemic. Masks are constantly around their neck or under their noses. The last two times I was there the produce guy had his mask off as he was putting out and breathing on the tomatoes. Two different days, same guy! Same with the cashiers. A lot of elderly people shop there and you can see the terror in their eyes. Come on management, get it together. It comes from the top. You don’t see this at Trader Joe’s.

Products top notch as usual in Publix.However, in Sarasota the epicenter of the Trompimania, people are charged more expensively just for having more money. The antithesis of capitalism.Same products more expensive than in Ft Lauderdale, just for the sin of living in Sarasota.

I shop here daily, great store! I ordered a Cuban sub from the deli yesterday around 10-10:30am there was a new guy with blondish hair that made it and it was the BEST sub Ive ever had!!! Wish I wouldve gotten his name but Im sure Ill be seeing him again!

Publix bakery probably steals all the best bakers in this town and am I glad! They are professional, kind, and do the best baking in this town. This has become our standard grocery store for the everyday staples when were visiting Siesta Key. For Fresh fish we typically go on down to Walts fish market however for just some standard cuts Publix is fine. If youre looking for liquor you need to go outside the main portion of the store and find the little ancillary Publix store next door. Overall a nice basic grocery store.

This is literally the best supermarket Ive ever been in! They have a super varied selection for every food preference. I especially enjoyed the variety of wines and craft beers they carry. The best part of the experience was the helpful and kind staff! They are so awesome that upon exiting the store and arriving at our car with a full car, a Publix employee ran up to us and started to help load our groceries in the car! So cool! Keep up the awesome job Publix!

Best Sushi of any Sarasota Publix. The nicest man works there and he will make anything special for you. This is the only Publix I will buy to-go sushi from and I recommend everyone else go and check him out!
