Beautiful shop, lovely, helpful staff & impressive collection of rocks & minerals. Lots more stuff but I never got past the crystals!

I absolutely love this store their book selection was amazing. Honestly their selection of every item is amazing. My only complaint is that its too hot in the store. Very clean store, love that they have somewhere to sit. Drove 2 1/2 hrs for this store and was definitely not disappointed. Definitely will come back.

I was happy to see this magical store survived the plandemic and I could show my family this place. Even with the supply shortage going on they have a good selection and everybody was nice and accommodating. I am from out of town but definitely I recommend to pay a visit, is a beautiful store. I came in with a heavy heart and she told it to me straight in a gentle way without the sugar coating approach, on my situation and boy did she get my situation clear as if she saw the situation first hand. This place has THE BEST VIBE and such a positive atmosphere it is SUPER CALMING & PEACEFUL. Not to mention its only 15 mins away from Siesta Key. Great place for gifts, gems, incense, handmade items, books and SO MUCH MORE. you will not regret visiting this place. Be prepared to stay longer than you expect. There is so much to see & its very easy to lose track of time.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT COVID!!! All of the workers are wearing inadequate face shields, which ave been PROVEN not to work! Do not require costumers to wear masks either! Left within 5 minutes of being in the store for my own safety, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Also was given dirty looks by all workers... and not one but TWO people behind register... neither welcoming me in or asking if i would like any help. Other reviews are correct... they follow you around if they feel like you are going to steal something. Do not recommend... would much rather go to crystal cave a couple miles further down... a much better experience.

Absolutely great! Some items are a bit overpriced though.. like the crystals. Before I knew better I spent quite a penney on a spherical crystal here. Now I know to look on ebay for a much better deal as soon as you know which crystals you like. Overall I come here for spiritual inspiration and to bring a friend that has never been in before. Happy this place exists in Sarasota and has been here for a long time. Employees are friendly and helpful. Love the serenity and tranquil space of the store.

Great store ! They have a huge selection of everything here ! I love their bracelets and single stone sections- they also have some really cool salt lamps and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their prices are pretty reasonable also . Better than a few other places I have been to! I will definitely come here for future gems and oils

This is my go to store for thoughtful, heartfelt funeral gifts. Great employees who are helpful. And the card selection? Unique and second to none! A real treat to visit this store - calming and just makes you feel good!

There was less of a variety than I was hoping for, but its good if youre looking for crystals or incense. They also have a tarot decks, for those inclined.

I’ve been a customer for over a decade and bought $130 worth of gifts for Christmas. As I was walking out with my purchased items the security alarm went off. The girl who rang me up grabbed my items from me, looked my boyfriend and I up and down, and said “are you sure you didn’t take anything?” while holding my PURCHASED items away from me. She then made us both individually walk through the security scanner. Obviously it was her negligence yet she profiled us because my boyfriend has dreadlocks. I was mortified that we were being wrongly accused. I’ll NEVER step my foot in there again!

What a beautiful store! I heard so many great things about it so I finally paid a visit. It smells amazing, very clean and bright. Their staff was very attentive, professional, but not overbearing. I was greeted and welcomed with a nice smile which is becoming rare these days. It seems like it’s a cross between a metaphysical store and a very unique gift store.. It definitely doesn’t have that small, cluttered, often even heavy and weird vibe that so many new age stores have. I could spend the entire day there. Definitely will be back. Good job, high standards and congratulations to whoever owns it.Highly recommended it!

This is a magical place. I had a reading done with Andrea and from the moment we met I knew it was the right choice. She is warm and inviting, also very connected and intuitive. Overall a very lovely person. I had planned on going several different times before I was actually able to make it there (one thing or another came up) but truly believe it was because she and I were supposed to meet. The store itself is beautifully arranged and is stocked with tons of items that are sure to catch your attention. I would most definitely recommend Elysian Fields and will be back to see Andrea whenever I am in town.

Elysian Fields has been one of my favourite stores since I was a kid,always enjoy coming here. Love the selection of crystals and stones.

Not what I remembered from year ago...play regular music from radio, not same products in store very down scales from what it used to be. All different staff and readers..atmosphere just felt out of sorts.

Prepare to get lost in this store. The smells are absolutely alluring. Every variety of incense, candles, gems and crystals and jewelry, books (lots of books), workshops, tarot cards, scarves and decor items, essential oils and more. Too much to mention--and a friendly common knowledgeable staff. If you have any interest in exploring new age thinking or ideals, Elysian Fields is a stop worth making. They also offer workshops and talks and readings. Im actually afraid to visit sometimes, knowing it will consume hours and dollars! Just spending time in the store is a positive, peaceful experience.

This place is absolutely beautiful, the product selection is unique, and the staff is very friendly. So, its such a shame that this awesome recipe for success just ends up overshadowed by their astronomical pricing. Its a really great place to browse, but not to actually buy anything unless you prefer to pay more than double in many cases.What they charge for crystals, for example, is insulting. I can literally order a pound of quartz crystal online (excellent quality) for the same cost as ONE crystal at Elysian Fields. Same with jewelry, Tibetan Bowls, etc. It is really disheartening, because Elysian Fields is a long standing, Sarasota favorite for locals and tourists alike. Ive been visiting there since I was a kid... nowadays, if I visit & see anything I like, I just Google it & order the same thing for a fraction of the price. If the difference wasnt so extreme, I wouldnt think twice about spending a little more in support of a local business, but it IS extreme, so I cant justify it.I really wish they would do something about it. I would love to support them, but the markup is so high that it feels greed-driven, and this is the LAST place in this city that should put off that kind of vibe.

I love this place! Their crystals are amazing and are on the cheap side so its almost a steal! Theres such a wide variety of things to buy. I almost didnt want to go home! Everyone is so nice too.

I came in with a friend who was looking for sage to do a cleanse on her new house. The sales associate that helped us listened attentively and showed/explained to us their selection. She even gave us some tips on how to do the cleansing and recommended an instructional YouTube video. Though my friend is eccentric, the associate was very respectful and kind. She even asked us to come back and let her know how the cleansing went. Definitely will be returning!

I kinda feel this store is a bit over priced....and not nearly as welcoming as Pixie Dust in Sarasota...one of the tarot readers wS disciplining a cashier while cashier was in the middle of helping a customer. Not very professional. I found this particular cashier to be super friendly and very sweet....she should be working at Pixie Dust.

Go here before you go to some big box store and get an impersonal, generic gift for your friends or family. There is something unique around every corner, and they have an amazing book selection too. Like a cross between a gift shop and metaphysical store. Good quality items, but some items are a bit overpriced. What I really appreciate is that there isnt a weird vibe like some metaphysical stores.

Whenever I go to the Midtown area, I visit this shop. I get all my special note cards and birthday cards there. I enjoy the crystals, cotton clothing and jewelry selections.I am a Christian person, so I will warn you there is mostly a New Age vibe to this shop. Just take the best and leave the rest. Everyone can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. This shop continues to be my favorite place to shop at Christmas!

I waited to write this post because how upset my visit made me. I would give no stars this time. It USED to be a 5 star shop, but the vibe has changed. Gone is the welcoming environment & now its the hover without helping but making sure you dont steal vibe? Even after spending a couple hundred every Christmas. Its a shame my wife LOVES most of their stuff, but I doubt Ill be back(without a total cleansing)of the place.😒

One of the finest stores of its type I have ever been in! The staff is friendly, warm and welcoming. Amazing selections of books, candles, spiritual items, decorations and on and on! My wife had a crazy accurate reading by Christine and I highly recommend her! You MUST go here if you are even remotely close. As for the guy who wrote the review on the crystals/rocks, yep-if you go to a WHOLESALE show they are cheaper. That is the difference between WHOLESALE and RETAIL!

Been a customer since 2008. Part time Sarasota resident, used to love this store. Helpful staff, usually. Have made large purchases in the past.Good rock choices, however, prices have been jacked. UP. Stunning to see a crystal cluster for $420. And that is one of the lower priced ones.Nothing exceptional re: rocks and crystals. Therefore, go to a rock show.You will do better. Additionally, WAY too many youre on camera signsOft-putting. Sales staff directly from Clerks. I get better service at Peaches.

This place is awesome and the people who work here have really good energy. I really love thier book sections. Its quite large. They do have a lot of unique gemstones as well. The staff is always friendly and I always have a good experience when I go here.

Im from Michigan but I visit this store every time Im in Sarasota. No trip to Sarasota is complete without a stop at Elysian Fields. Theres always plenty of interesting things to look at and enjoy, and I tend to purchase more than I really need to, because theres no place like this near me.

Nice place for crystals and books. I gave it a four as the books were very limited. I would definitely return there for the experience. They also had an oxygen bath that you can do for 10 minutes.

This was my first time visiting the store. Not a good experience at all whatsoever. I was stood up by a reader when I was on time. Very poor service, would not reccomend this place. I was only offered a refund by owner and nothing further but a hope this doesnt leave a bad taste in your mouth. I feel that they could have offered something to please me more. Sad, I had really been looking forward to this place. Did not meet my expectations. Most likely will not be back. Did not feel good after that.

I visited for the first time and immediately felt at home. I walked in and took in the sights, smells, and sounds of one of the most relaxing environments I know of. This would be a frequent stop for me if it was closer to home. I felt welcome and look forward to visiting again.
