Chose this florist because of their rather significant contribution to the Breast Cancer walk at Nathan Benderson Park. I wanted to support a business that supports their community.However, I am disappointed with my flowers. I ordered an arrangement of pink flowers for $80 after seeing a dozen roses for the same cost. I asked for an assortment of pink flowers to celebrate my one year anniversary of being free from Breast Cancer. I am disappointed because there are most pink carnations and filler flowers. There are a few beautiful pink roses, but the reality of what was received did not meet my expectation. I will still order from this company again; however, I recommend being more specific in what you are expecting. This is probably my fault for not knowing what I wanted.

I was very impressed with their effort to make sure that a beautiful plant arrangement was sent as the order had to be changed as they were out of Orchids.

I ordered a bird of paradise arrangement for my sister. This particular flower has a deep and very meaningful connection to our family. The arrangement arrived and IT WAS STUNNING!!! There were 5 large bird of paradise and other accent flowers and foliage. The arrangement truly had an impact on my sisters day and on me too. Thank you so much. I ordered flowers from this florist and I was willing to pay $60 for the flowers, plus delivery. I purposely called a local florist for the delivery assuming that would make the delivery five to $10. I told them that I did not want an expensive container but that I wanted the dollar amount to go into the flowers. I told them three times on the phone that I did NOT want them put in a cube. I wanted something a bit taller. I told them that I was a floral designer myself and the exact vase size I wanted. They delivered a CUBE that consisted of about $25 worth of flowers. The total including the $20 of delivery even though it was a local delivery for them. The total was over $85. I took pictures of the arrangement and called them immediately. They wanted me to email them a picture which I did and someone would return my call. They never called me back. Total rip off!

I live in NJ and have my dear cousin in Sarasota. I contacted Beneva by chance and they created and delivered an exquisite birthday bouquet exactly following my specifications. My cousin was equally pleased! We are both going to now use Beneva for our floral needs. Thanks so much and wish you continued success.

This week I received two separate deliveries, one for my birthday and one to help my heart heal when my 17 year old pup passed away. Katya Wade is the reason for the 5 stars. She went above and beyond to accommodate a request from my friends in The Netherlands. It involved tulips and an accompanying card written in Dutch. The request is much too convoluted to detail but the result is a very happy 94 year old woman. Everyone is the store is super friendly. I came into the store for a last minute flower arrangement and they helped me through everything. Thank you>My friend had a bereavement fruit basket sent to him by Beneva Flowers but they left the basket at the wrong house which was unoccupied and it sat there in the heat for days when he finally got the basket the bananas and kiwi were rotten all of it was unfit to eat. I called Beneva and complained that the driver did not take the time to find a neighbor who was home to take responsibility for the basket. Its unfortunate that the only ones who benefited from there mistake was Beneva Flowers they never sent him an apology or another basket to make up for it.

I met the owner David Shuel at an Oriels game I was working as his company was passing out flowers to people coming into the stadium for opening day. He was very personable and we started talking about my wedding when he realized I didnt have anyone picked out for flowers yet. He gave me his card and told me to come into the shop with my ideas. I hadnt put much effort into finding a flower company yet with everything else I had going on for the wedding, but I always heard nothing but positive things about Beneva flowers and felt comfortable with the company, and with David. I went in with my ideas and the prices Beneva gave me werent even comparable; they were EXTREMELY reasonable! We were given a quote and they told us to call or email them with any changes we needed to make. It turns out one of my bridesmaids dropped out of the wedding, I called right away thinking we would lose the money spent on her bouquet. They refunded us the money a week before the wedding. We made 2 or 3 changes throughout the whole process and each time without hesitation or grief, they would change the proposal and gave us a new one no questions asked. They were extremely accommodating to all of our needs. I dropped the vases off for the centerpieces a few days before the wedding a little nervous something would get lost as there were so many vases. Everything came right on time and looking absolutely gorgeous the day of the wedding. They worked with my cake designer and day of coordinator to make sure all the centerpieces and the flowers for the cake got to the right places without me having to worry about anything. EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL and looked better than I could have ever imagined. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Beneva flowers!!!!

I received a beautiful bouquet for Mother’s Day on Thursday. Today, Monday I threw them out. On Friday I added water and the contents of the envelope to keep them fresh. What a bitter disappointment.

Exactly the look I was going for! I wanted simple and elegant. I love that they didnt try to upsell me to something more extravagant. Jaclyn was great to work with and was very helpful with decorating the chuppah. She allowed me to adjust her designs to make them perfect. Everything was delivered with no issues and my bouquet stayed looking good for almost a week after my wedding. The girls flowers looked full and alive and the center pieces looked great. They clearly know exactly how to deliver for a wedding, great to have something to not worry about and leave to the experts!

Absolutely the best florist in Sarasota and the surrounding area! The pics on the website are true to form. I ordered peonies for Mother’s Day and they delivered the most beautiful flowers to my mom.
